now that we're in a discussion thread i'll give my thoughts
While I do like math like this and find it really neat when not scaling (I have done many RPG stat comparisons in my own time by trying to conflate one game's attack formula with another lol), it wouldn't really be applicable while scaling due it using datamined stats & contradicting the game showing that Asriel would've only had 7 souls worth of power instead of 13.
Austin also said that he could explain where all the extra power came from and then just went on a tangent on how monsters hunt people (which doesn't actually explain it), which I find funny : P

Yeah. In the Underground, Asriel would’ve only had access to, at best, 8 souls worth of power if we included Frisk’s soul (7 souls + 1 Underground). They didn’t get Frisk’s soul though, and are thus only at 7. The only way someone could argue that Asriel could’ve gotten more is via datamined stats and math that Toby most likely didn’t think about in the slightest when coding the Omega Flowey fight’s damage or determining exactly how many 9s to put into Asriel’s defense stat.
