Elfilin would one-shot, but only has 1 attack at that level and isn't much of a fighter. What does Ness bring to the table? You tell me.

Ness has a bunch of abilities that can help ruin stronger enemies including PK Flash, which one random effect will happen either make them cry so hard they'll miss their attacks, inflict confusion, make them paralyzed or instantly defeated (still alive maybe, just badly hurt and unconscious for an indefinite time. Good for incapping unless if they're healed). There's also Hypnosis to make them sleep and Paralysis again without the RNG, and all them are AoE so there's no avoiding it especially with against Universal+ range.

As for Elfilin, I do not know much about him nor Kirby and the Forgotten Land besides King Dedede's theme, but I do see a huge LS advantage. What does Elfilin lead with exactly?

In general, we don't know because his fights happen off-screen. Maybe he punches with his tiny arms?

If that's the case, then Ness shouldn't have any problems at all. He can put Elfilin in a sleep or paralyzed condition and then spam PK Flash until Elfilin gets knocked out before even hitting Ness.
