Honestly same too, there wasn't any difference between original and remake chars with some tweaks but separating them for the pages are still a good choice as it might cause a confusion and mess

Why was an RE9 Leon image added to the Remake Timeline Leon profile?
The Resident Evil Outbreak games are canon to RE9, as Grace is the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft, one of the main protagonists of those titles. That continuity connection appears to conflict with several established points of the Remake timeline.

I believe he’s referring to the numerous continuity inconsistencies that make it difficult for the Outbreak games to be considered canon within the Remake timeline.

probably becuz at the end of the day, Capcom considers these games canon.
The only reason why we separate these profiles from one another is big differences in Feats, P&A, equipment, etc.

Since RE9 is a numbered mainline entry, its content should fall under Leon’s main canon profile.

Resident evil 1- CV canon Is not really that solid to be honest, we only know for sure that certain characters survived between games, so developments where they die or go missing most certainly don't happen.
For example the first Resident evil and Remake has no depiction of the actual events of the mansion incident because all 4 main STARS members survived It, but no matter the choice you make you only escape with 3 of them on either Jill and Chris' scenario.
Resident evil 2 has like six depictions of events, and degeneration has flashbacks of León and Claire running through the infested city together which doesn't 1:1 happen in the original Resi 2, a flashback of Claire facing off G1 which would only happen in her B scenario that means even with the idea of Claire A- León B original canon It Is sort of understood by Capcom that events actually went down different from how we played them.

Remake doesn't change things lot. Also you are bit overthinking. Jill and Chris walkthrough are on their own.

Both of them are canon. So js saying "only 3 of them survived" makes no sense

Yeah they all survived but there Is no ending 'in-game' where they all escape together, the different scenarios also happen in overlapping timelines only three characters enter the mansion while either Barry or Chris go missing, assuming either scenario was the only true canon depiction of events we don't know wtf Chris or Jill were up to whilst the character you play as was making his way through mansion.

Not to be captain obvious, but it sounds like a major plot point of RE9 is going to be how multiple survivors of the Raccoon City Incident are falling ill to some kind of sudden infection, including Leon and the death toll is 6 survivors at this point. I hope they didn't offscreen kill any major characters.

I really don’t see Capcom taking the risk of killing off Leon or Chris. They’re literally the face of the franchise and a major source of its revenue.

Does optional gameplay count for feats? In RE5 during the Desperate Escape scenario you can kick enemies into huge boulders as either Jill or Josh and fragment them, might be worth something depending on the kind of rock they're breaking.

Actually you can sort of see it here starting from 14:05, on the bottom left corner a majini getting launched into the boulder and fragmenting it, there are many destructible boulders in this section and if you line up your meelee you can achieve the same effect.
