The section that follows shows a similar scan, but it’s not the exact one quoted from the wiki. I just want to confirm whether the wiki text is actually backed by a direct in-game scan. That's why it's not recommended to use fan wiki because it's fan-made + some of their opinions

Brother...it's literally from the story chapter, its not meant to say the exact same thing, because it isn't solely from the loading screen. It's a summary of the necrostar which obviously takes info from various in game sources, the loading screen doesn't tell you it's a type of stellar matrice, because the researchers in the black shores are the ones who tell you that before you enter it...guys I know its been some time since 1.3 but cmon...we cannot be serious rn

Edit: I understand that the quest provides information that can lead to that conclusion. However, the VSBwiki isn’t only for people who play the game, so it’s important to include enough context and evidence for even those unfamiliar with it to understand the reasoning.

And I know how black holes work. The problem is that many people who read the calculation might not be part of the fandom. In a lot of black hole calcs, there’s usually explicit in-game justification showing why it’s considered a real black hole.
If you only include the scan referenced in the calculation, all you really have is a mention of the term “black hole,” while the additional details are coming from the wiki.
