Definitely not removing problems, only adding more.
the example would be; a wasp stinging you’re finger and you cutting the whole arm off… That’s how I see it and how it’s been for the verse
… Would definitely love that, but as already seen in other threads, stated sizes also get attacked and argued against

We had a major issue where we weren't even sure if we could make threads for the verse or if the profiles would be locked. There was no proper resolution to it.

Not everything needs an alternative to it.
And I would have been happy to edit the profiles myself, but as I said we had the issue where people wanted the profiles locked.
Really hard to make plans to edit and fix the profiles under those circumstances.
Some supporters wouldn't be happy even if a re-calc was made for every feat, if the results of those re-calcs were massive downgrades.

Most if not all of it does need an alternative, otherwise the profile itself is no longer relevant, just having unknown ratings on profiles with nothing to accurately scale them to
If they were truly fair, there’s nothing to be unhappy about… the only ways that the verse supporters wouldn’t be happy on are calcs that aren’t accurate or at least reasonable

Honestly, whats even the point. The earthquakes are being rejected at every single turn.
"No, he can't not enough evidence for that."
"Well, earthquake formulas on planets larger than Earth dont work."
"Well, that calc is wrong too because he cant quake the entire planet."
"Well, the feat didn't happen at all actually."
Every single time arguments are made FOR it, more counter arguments are made and nothing gets done. Its a constant back and forth that is really discouraging to try to powerscale One Piece.

Counter-arguments don't ruin powerscaling. Consider the alternative that maybe some of those things shouldn't have been proposed and accepted in the first place? Sometimes also things are correct at the time but new evidence comes up that reframes what was already accepted.
We've just got to be more careful in what we propose.

You play devil's advocate a lot.
I'm not even bashing you but we genuinely have some people here who just ***** and moan over ratings, on both sides.
If you type in One Piece in the search, a good chunk of the messages are from other verse discussion threads talking about how they disagree with the ratings solely cause of the ratings and not because of the actual scaling or reasonings.
I was offsite with some members (no names will be said) who didn't even know why they scaled to tier 5 but they disagreed with the reasoning solely cause of the tier.
Some people are reasonable and think of counter-arguments, and others are dishonest individuals. And you genuinely need to notice that to progress, or else people will look at you like the latter instead of the former.

All it takes is for 1 CRT to be accepted and 1 CGM to be slightly more convinced of 1 side than another and boom, entire profiles, scaling chains and foundations are demolished.
Of 100 CRTs being made to remove feats, only 1 needs to be accepted. Not every counter argument is going to be valid and not every user is making them out of the desire to help. Sometimes it IS bias and the desire to downgrade the verse as much as possible.
At the rate we're going, we're going to have like 5 valid feats by EOS. We already lost like 18 in the past year.

The Quakes can't be calculated with standard formula (and who to say if the new formula isn't going to be reject anyway, so we may not even be able to use anything from Marineford), the Meteors have been rejected time and time again because its "break" KE, Mother Flame doesn't be scale to anyone, no one has bother even recalc Wano's feats even with the new accepted size for Onigashima and for Elbaph we have to wait for end it but i certain that any size calcs for the island its going to be a struggle.
Yeah, we find found a calculate it properly (or as accurately as possible), only for people to suddently decide that those statements aren't valid or that Mother Flame somehow disprove them. To a certain point its feel like its done on purpose, even if isn't the case.

There's just conveniently always an argument for these methods and calcs being invalid. We fix 1 problem they have with the calc just for them to complain about another, we work around that and then another concern pops up. It doesn't matter if a calc is 99% valid, they'll cling to that 1% and get the calc removed off of that.

Well, we do have to be strict on these things. We can't be like "This calc is technically wrong, but the verse has been owed an upgrade lately so it's fine to rate characters using it."

Haven't seen that thread, but that makes no sense... Giant Luffy isn't a speed Amp, you would have to prove that to be the case... Never has Luffy gotten faster from growing in size (the opposite has been the case). He gains more mass and covers more distance, that is all it has ever been shown to do.

Hey, found out there is a map depcting the Blue planet and most of the islands that we know of, the map from rurubu magazine. Is it usable for anything or is it inconsistent/not enough evidence to be considered canon on the wiki?

Ruburu magazine isn't really shown to be canon #1
#2 it's only showing the islands we know showing it isn't really an objectively good map
#3 the size consistencies of the islands all vary, like alabasta and wano being the largest islands realistically on the grand line but in the map they're comparable to skypiea and water 7 and such
