Ay, we got a new game and a remake coming!🔥🔥 However for now we're cleaning up our souls justification for Conceptual Manipulation (Type 1).

Souls

Souls are abstractions best left to philosophers to decipher, composed of their form, that is the state of a being, their luck, their mind, and their direction, which guides their path to their respective afterlife as per Mimir's words. However, the soul is not limited to that only, as the soul holds and defines a being's nature.

Nature is described as the metaphysical element that Dwarven Magic manipulates to control the relationship between the physical and intangible. We are subsequently told that the Lady of the Forge is the "Nature of the Forge" and is described as the Forge itself in the literal sense. Therefore, one can see that Nature is "what something is" at the metaphysical level, as the Lady of the Forge is the "Forge" by being it's nature.

This also applies to deities, as the souls of gods have their nature determined by their godhead, something that can span all of space and time and covers abstractions like war itself. And indeed a god's very nature can influence the world, as seen when Atreus’s nature fighting within him left the realm of Midgard in a chaotic state. Said godhood is also referred to as a seat of solemn metaphysical responsibility. This is why Kratos did not register as a god to the Hyperion gates until he absorbed Hades' soul, despite having his godly powers at his disposal. The soul, the abstract nature of a being, is what determines a deity's embodiment of an aspect of reality, regardless of how much raw power they wield.

The Light of Alfheim is a power that existed before the creation of the Nine Realms, and even Odin himself, and has been gathering souls since the beginning of creation. As such, we have confirmation that souls exist even in the absence of space and time and are thus independent as far as their nature goes.

Souls themselves are the same across pantheons, as we see by how the Lady of the Forge communicated only with Kratos and ignoring Brok since the latter lacks his soul-bits, specifically direction, one of the parts Mimir mentions that all souls hold. Furthermore, both Kratos and Mimir are eligible for entering Valhalla despite Kratos being from Greece and Mimir being from Celtic Myth.

But souls being reality-independent concepts isn't all that's established. That goes for magic itself, something we've established is a manifestation of the soul and life itself.

TL;DR

This is a cleanup of our current souls section of the Magic page, with all relevant scans in one place.

A question

If soul are the very concept of something, why when you destroy that, "the something" doesnt erased? Like when odin soul is taken and destroyed why his body still there? He doesnt immune to that like atlas. Doesnt that are antifeats

Given how this is basically a cleanup of previous revisions, I see no issue here

Small correction but Atlas's soul isn't destroyed by Hades, just absorbed. And we don't actually ever see Odin's body again after Sindri destroys his soul, though Pepsi can elaborate more on that if need be. Soul alteration being reflected physically is showcased though, as with the Raiders, and Garm.

Grace is reached. This can be applied and closed.
