I got permission from @Planck69 in messages. This thread is to get the Chaos Manipulation page to recognize that characters specifically with the Primordial Chaos aspect get something clarified as it is stated but not clear on page.

Here under the notes it states: While the primordial universe lacked structured matter or observable energy, it is not accurate to describe it as a void state or state of nothingness. Modern physics characterizes the primordial state of the universe as having extreme densities and temperatures. This state is referred to as the initial singularity, which contained all the energy, matter, and potential that would eventually lead to the Big Bang.

As we can see, the page already acknowledges that primordial chaos has extreme densities and temperatures. I think it should further clarify on the values we're to assume.

Here's what the note section would look like updated.

Got permission from Vieth.

If characters were bestowed by some Primordial Chaos entity with it's power, would said characters gain temperature manipulation on such high degree comparable to the Primordial itself?

If they're given the primordial chaos from the beginning of universe yeah.

The way I consider it, it's like asking if water gains resistance to water. Unless they show some resistance or through scaling then no.

What do you want to do here in summary? Is this topic sufficiently important for a staff discussion? 🙏

I believe the OP wants to give temperature manip (on an infinite high degrees) to any Primordial Chaos entity or the ones using it's power.

Chaos Page states that Primordial Chaos has high temp and density. I am asking for us to acknowledge this with actual values I've listed in the OP.

I think that we should only do so if a story itself explicitly treats the ability that way. Fiction generally does not follow real standards of physics. 🙏

I may agree with this as having such high temperatures would burn entire celestial objects completely by just existing. I don't think there's any character has demonstrated this kind of feat/statement.

This line of logic can be followed for dozens of hax and feats where a character has millions of degrees of fire manipulation like Yamamoto's Bankai having 15mil degrees heat, the many Black Hole feats that don't destroy the Earth in seconds, characters not causing giant explosions and craters from their light speed movements, characters with lifting strength in the G class and up not creating giant chasms when they exert themselves.

Realistically, like most fiction, we use something called "suspension of disbelief" when something seems impossible but yet it is happening. There's also the fact physics is different in fiction. But if other mods end up agreeing and we're not treating the ability as it is on the Chaos Page, then it should just be removed.

I believe most of the things you mentioned above is due to them having statements which gives them such ratings. Which is why I mentioned if the primordial chaos has statements being that hot, then it's safe to qualify despite the antifeats.

If the statement that what they're controlling is the primordial state of the universe isn't enough then the ability should just be removed if we're following this reasoning lmao
