Tasty Planet General Discussion Thread

It's very fun!
I played up to the Hungry Dragon levels and sadly, the planet hasn't been eaten yet
even more spoilers from the end:
Clay goo does in fact ends up eating the earth, some stars and even eats the "clay spacetime" before it gets stopped by some human hands...real human hands, and sorta like a movie or the game itself being made by the person, who i assume is James, which is why the final level is called Tasty Planet

Also the scientists must be the real villains of this game if they keep making entities that are going to end civilization

Seriously?
Yes I was and still am pretty sick and have been laying in bed all day and I checked YouTube and saw the release trailer I'm about to get it right now. I DON'T CARE THAT I WAS TRYING TO COMPLETE THE PREVIOUS GAMES FIRST I GOT TO FUTURE ON BFS AND THATS CLOSE ENOUGH THIS GAME HASN'T HAD CONTENT IN 7 YEARS

Hope you get better soon! I found this new game pretty fun, so I hope you get to enjoy it too!

Okay guys I finally got Final Bite!
I'm only on Paperclip maximizer level 2 and use the Steam version by the way.
The game is pretty good so far! The only setback I'd say is that the controls aren't as good as the previous games. (at least for me) I set it to my preferred settings (click to go) and it feels a little more stiff than usual, so I'll have to get used to that but alas good game!
(also I feel so bad for Paperclip Maximizer since in the banner of the game it's about to get eaten by Clay Goo)

The carrot stage of Hungry Dragon is so annoying. Am I bigger than these damn carrots or not??

The Hungry Dragon levels were probably the most annoying levels in the game. A lot of it is just run around until you find SOMETHING to eat, run around more, find something to eat, repeat

now, i believe that it is a bit disappointing that almost all the eaters in this game, end with you just reaching a around 100 meters (or 36 meters with Dragon).
is a bit sad if this is truly the last game and there is nothing more of anything.
i expected some of them to actually reach huge levels (THE GRAY GOO, was not that bad at least, but it still got smaller than the others)

You should've probably added the spoiler thing to this btw, since those are huge spoilers
The hippo got to ~400 meters at least, but that's something that disappointed me as well. Also, I'm not sure this is going to be the last game. It just depends on how well this game sells, and I predict that it should be enough for one more sequel at least.

That’s really only spoilers for the hippo part

Just completed Paperclip Maximizer!
I love Mippy, Mippy is now my favorite Tasty Planet character. I was actually surprised that we could convert the entire universe. I do wish we could've actually seen that but still, I love Paperclip Maximizer.
Speaking of how much of the Final Bite crew have finished calcs?

For now, only the House Hippo has an accepted one, though I also calculated the Hungry Dragon and a random moose.
Ah so it's the ones that I saw, nice!
Anyways I am almost done with Clay Goo and I plan on doing bonus levels later so for now here are my opinions on all of the other things
I love how all of the eaters destroy stuff because of the scientists/people who resemble them EXCLUDING Clay Goo, who they are famous for making. I swear how many deaths have these men caused?
I am pretty happy that this is the first Tasty Planet game I've gone into without any spoilers, the closest things to spoilers I've gotten was the moose calculation but all that really spoiled is that a moose is going to blow up. I'm also surprised that House Hippo is probably one of the weaker characters out of the final bite cast considering that it's literally the face of this game. Speaking of House Hippo, you can tell that Dingo Games wanted their homeland to shine through with this one, as you basically eat the most stereotypical Canadian town.
Also did you know that House Hippo was based off of a PSA?

OKAY GUYS I FINISHED THE GAME!
I did not expect to be clapped into a splat, that genuinely jump scared me.

so...funny thing, do we make a profile for the human hand at the end of Clay goo?

What do the hands even imply? Did the Clay Goo never exist? Did they create that entire universe? Was all of the Clay Goo world a stop motion film?
Did James Sawyer took his time to make this?since it seems to be him on the cutscene?or it is that someone else?

There is also the fact that Clay Goo was able to fly (????????????????????????????????????????????????) in space and go to earth in a short amount of time, even when he is like one centimeter tall and such.

Even small Clay Goo is probably strong. Not a hard calc I'm guessing, since it's just grabbing the density of clay, multiplying by the volume of the Clay Goo and either going with GPE or KE to get the energy of the fall

I mean, everything in that world is made out of clay (i am still confused by the ending)

Is anyone interested in seeing this?

Either we go with the Clay Goo being an 11-A stop-motion character or with the creator being a High 3-A god

I'd assume the latter. I think Clay Goo itself in the "film" would still be whatever tier he ends up being but then we could make a "real world" key

I saw that a while ago, it's a good page. Wish it had a page for each game in the series, though

Before being stopped, he was eating space-time...clay spacetime to be more exact

It's somewhat unnecessary to do that, since all the games follow the same formula and the only difference is the characters; it's better to have everything grouped on one page rather than having to make pages for all the games.

Also guys by the way I'm working on a calc for Mippy and Clay Goo
What do you need specifically?like you need the weight of the paperclips?the weight of Clay?
also i remember that in the game, you can eat solar flares (and dodge solar flares logically)

The weight of clay is pretty easy. Clay Goo is a sphere, you calculate the volume, multiply by the density of clay and it's done. No idea how we could calc the weight of Mippy.

I just used a sphere and assume 30% hollowness, also I'm pretty sure Clay Goo is the same shape as all of the other Grey Goos since thats what it looks like on the banner of the game.

Nanomachines son.
maybe use the material in which paperclips are made...
Considering that he later turns everything into paperclips and they "look" fine enough for everyone to be fine...then i don't know
