UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE [shiny new] DISCUSSION THEAD

People are just mad because a toddler outscales y'alls low cosmologies by just feeling like it 🗿

It would appear you dance in a mere 0.000001% of Sigmar's light.

Interesting.

Whatever you do just don't use rehashed arguments from youtube videos that are blatantly wrong like that one guy in the upgrade thread.
Originally it was only gonna be Deltarune, but the recent downgrade thread by Armor kinda opened my eyes to how 🥀 Undertale is in some spots (800 ton elevator my beloved).
Nah, he just vagueposting to farm aura 🥀 🥀
Math. And also poor logic but like, mostly math.

If it’s any consolation, I probably wont be tackling the Hypertimeline anymore; that’s kinda someone else’s territory, and they’re going to deal with it in due time.

Just wait until Deltarune officially crossovers into Undertale and get's outerversal scaling, which will be shared between verses.

Trust the process, everything is working out the way it is meant to.
Hey, I was curious if Core Frisk is your favorite character

It's literally about only the mass used tbf.
All will be revealed....eventually.

Tbh the flame kinda dwindled with that Naoya image, that shit actually made me cackle. Maybe instead of one monstrous CRT, I'll do like. One at a time. Idk, I'll figure it out.

To be honest Sans is definately the most interesting undertale undertale character, there is just so much we don't know, why is he so smart, why does he have such powerful habilities, why does he know about the game and its rules, why, how and what are his connections with gaster, what was Sans original home and what has he given up and why does he think its foolish to even try?

And then there is the whole judgmet thing which lowkey makes me think the reason why Sans appears at every area of the game (New home doesn't count) is because he is watching us to judge our actions otherwise how do you explain him working at three different cities at the same time😭🙏

Duplication.

I don't have a dog on the upgrade/downgrade sagas other than UT god tiers being Tier 2 is sensible purely from Asriel and Chara, and now being Tier 1 is a matter of interpretation with sufficient evidence (which seems to be deemed satisfactory by those involved in the upgrade thread, those blogs were pretty long) so it got accepted.

UT/DT as a whole is downplayed in general anyways (outside the wiki), ranging from compromises of Chara being at most High 3-A or even 5-B or 6-A, to Frisk being 10-B.

The issue with Undertale scaling is it's heavily based on statements and interpretations of feats that often aren't entirely visual or are vague enough that people can take them in different ways. Chara's feat though is the most clear cut to me. Destroying the entire game is at least multiversal since we know there are countless timelines in the game which must logically be encompassed within the game's overall cosmology that Chara destroys. But considering that the game as an overall structure would fundamentally transcend the multiverse within it on an at least dimensional level, low complex multiversal always seemed logical to me, I just rarely ever brought it up since it seemed like a hot take.

This is too true. I have quite literally seen people in YouTube comment sections argue that God Asriel is athletic human level because he just has the strength of 7 human children, seen people try to downplay the manipulation of the timeline by arguing that the SAVE files only apply to the Underground (literally debunked by the fact that we can undo the ending of the True Pacifist Route), and seeing people even argue that Chara was only referring to Earth when talking about destroying the "world" and moving onto the next (what, did Chara actually mean they were going to become a ghost space pirate going around destroying planets? 😭 ). It's just absurd. Often when I see YouTube Undertale match-ups, 30% of comments are "xd lmao chara is just a kid with a knife the verse is fodder!".

I'm sorry but all of this just seems like a disingenuous argument to justified keeping an ability that never have any reason of existing in the first place
So what alternative explanations to such phenomena you have. It's not just gameplay mechanics, since it appears in cutscenes plenty of times. It's not just extended melee range, since it works even with just hands.
I would have classified it as something similar to Sukuna dismantles, but for some reason they retain shape of the swing

Don't really know what ability it would be, but I'm not convinced that just saying that it's "spatial manipulation" is right at all
