I'm curious where Mihawk fits into the timeline though. I wonder if we'll get more details in the flashback, Oda still hasn't elaborated on his betrayal yet. After the God Valley arc, I think it would be cool if he did something similar to Boruto and supervised a prequel manga about the Great Pirate Era. That way he could semi-retire but keep OP going if he wanted. I know he helped with the Ace Novel at least.

While I do believe Blackbeard has ACoC, I don't think he had it when he scarred Shanks. If that WorstGen guy is to believe, due to being a God's Blade and only having the Shallow Sea Mark, Shanks only had teleportation and not regen. It would also explain how a sea king was able to bite off his arm and it never grew back.
 
Gotcha. And nah, I've been meaning to talk about Oda's overuse of offscreen information for a while. The comment was a focus I used to format my thoughts. Do we know when Shanks first met Mihawk? He stopped being his rival 12 years ago when he lost his arm, which implies the rivalry had gone on for some time.
 
So, Mosa is pretty much Shirahoshi, considering Harald referring her as "mosamosa"

This pretty much line up very well about Loki being angry and taking a revenge about "that incident" if he was in that position, which was the Levely arc that happened not long ago

What are Worstgen's and Pew's problem with Shiki? This is the second time he's been excluded from being portrayed alongside Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido in the spoilers, only to be shown with them when the raws/chapter come out. And now they're doing it to Wang Zhi.

Nice to see the guy who Blackbeard needed to team up with Koby and Law to defeat even in his old age get some more hype.
 
The official translation of the latest chapter (1167) validates the "Shanks the rat" allegations in the funniest way possible

Meaning currently no one has reached even Xebec's level

Oda intentionally keeps it vague. Shanks is a more significant character from the story perspective, so it feels inconsistent that Mihawk could be his equal or superior

You have to dig 12+ years into Shanks' past to find anti-feats, Mihawk's is every other time he appears during his prime. Funny that. Mihawk's best feats are still scaling to the Shanks with all the anti-feats. Funny that.

1. Harald betrayed the WG and Imu took him out Saturn style. Harald figured the errors of his ways and turned his back, which is why Sommers blames Harald for something.
2. Loki knows something we don’t about fighting immortals, which is why he said he knows how to take them down.

Doesn't matter, Shanks is the source of his tier and scaling. Even if he upscaled the living swordsmen and we removed Shanks, he would only be Low 5-B.

We can ignore context if you want though. In that case Shanks >>>> Mihawk, because he clashed with Whitebeard, and Kaido. At Marineford Mihawk struggled against Vista & Jozu... is this your mans? Kaido also called Shanks the top 5... where was Mihawk? Just asking questions... Get Mihawk past commander level first, and then we'll see. Mihawk wasn't serious during Marineford, which is why he decided to attack the weakest person close to him. He was only willing to go after Whitebeard after he realized the mf was one foot in the grave. No wonder everything we've seen from Mihawk post timeskip is him beating tf out of Buggy. He's afraid of being outed as the biggest aura farming fraud in history.

If we gave Mihawk an honest tier. At least 5-C {Stronger than Vista & Zoro.}, up to At least Low 5-B Aurafarming {With the Fraudhawk Aura, Mihawk scales above Rayleigh and Sickbeard. His aurafarming is most effective against old and sickly characters. After realizing he could never become the Strongest Swordsman while Shanks lived, he instead decided to become the World's Strongest Scammer. That way he could keep the WSS initials.}.

This is obvious bait, I don't believe this shit, but I've only seen this guy post the same type of ragebait so far. Return to sender.
