I'm pretty sure he dismantled her face when he grabbed her, the cut doesn't look like the cleave patternI think the time frame for Sukuna grabbing Maki is a little fuzzy for it to be a clear cut perception blitz. It took long enough for the objects in the background to drop when he made contact and then we see them outside with maybe a cleave to the face and he just let's her go? If the argument is that his fluctuating CE had him moving faster there than just before, why would be let go of her and not hit her again? She gets launched outwards out of his grasp but he's only fast enough to land the grab? Because we don't see where she was grabbed in relation to when she launched that pillar at him, it's tough to judge if he hadn't just come at her and grabbed her before she could defend while still being percieved?
I think people also ignore Sukuna was not trying to Blitz Mami when he was prepping for BF rather he was concentrating and talking to her and it's already gave away his punching angle to her.Easier to think that Sukuna dashed and reached her before the swing and blocked it, instead of saying that he would attack her with the forearm
I wonder why she didn't just blocked with the sword or both arms
Isn't Shrine the anility to cut (1 or several) that Sukuna can output however (a net against Kashimo via dismantle and Yuji via cleave)? We don't see the wound until he's let go of her, so it could be either.I'm pretty sure he dismantled her face when he grabbed her, the cut doesn't look like the cleave pattern
Dismantle is the cut that flies out and he has to manually choose its power, Cleave requires physical contact and automatically adjusts its own power. But Cleave always has that grid-shaped pattern whenever it's used, and the damage typically reflects that pattern (like Yuta cleaving Sukuna)Isn't Shrine a single cut that Sukuna can output however (a net against Kashimo via dismantle and Yuji via cleave)? We don't see the wound until he's let go of her, so it could be either.
Why did it look like he touched Ryu then?Dismantle is the cut that flies out and he has to manually choose its power, Cleave requires physical contact and automatically adjusts its own power. this kinda just looks like a generic cut, and since point-blank dismantle is compared to Cleave, they're probably extremely close in the damage they can do. So to me it looks like a dismantle
cause he did, but it was only 2 straight slashes. If you notice his wording when he compares Yuta and Yuji to Ryu, he doesn't actually say he needs Cleave specifically, he says he needs to make contact. A point-blank dismantle would count as making contactWhy did it look like he touched Ryu then?

Got debunked hard and so a new attempt was made
As expected4 pages about MHS+. It got debunked
Op still wanted to push FTL dismantle and relativistic reactions
People couldn't hold back and started to make jokes about it and derailing non stop
Eljoaki decided to try it in a part 2, but he didn't changed any argument
No wayGot debunked hard and so a new attempt was made
He used cleave. Nowhere does it say cleave had to be a net like pattern. Dismantle can be used as a net too. And there was no reason for Sukuna to hold back the first time when he did use Dismantlecause he did, but it was only 2 straight slashes. If you notice his wording when he compares Yuta and Yuji to Ryu, he doesn't actually say he needs Cleave specifically, he says he needs to make contact. Since I can’t reply to it, king tempest is right, you need to take a lot of time to explain the massive disparity’s in speed between a trying Sukuna and a non trying Sukunahttps://vsbattles.com/threads/jjk-relativistic-speed-crt-staff.185591/

Which btw you totally can make, but just saying “uhm he’s not trying here” isn’t gonna get this shit passed throughSince I can’t reply to it, king tempest is right, you need to take a lot of time to explain the massive disparity’s in speed between a trying Sukuna and a non trying Sukuna
Every single time we see Cleave it's a net pattern. Dismantle can be fired like a net. The only time Cleave is not used in a specific net pattern, it's used in a spiderweb pattern in Cleave: Spiderweb, a specific variant of the technique meant to destroy the environment. Meanwhile we know Dismantle is fired in lines that CAN be a net. (nevermind the fact that Sukuna isn't actually touching Ryu's head so this argument is nonsensical anyway lmfao)He used cleave. The manga doesn't state Cleave is only a net of slashes, and I've seen that past threads usually determine the attack that killed Ryu to be Cleave. Just because he uses multiple slashes often doesn't mean the more effortful move is just net slashes (effortful as in Cleave requires contact instead of Dismantling from a distance).Every single time we see Cleave it's a net pattern. Again, using Dismantle doesn't mean he was holding back. There's no evidence for Cleave being > a point blank dismantle other than people assuming he meant Cleave when he said he has to "make contact". In fact, they are directly compared in strength. If he was specifically saying Cleave was necessary, he would've said Cleave. Not "make contact".
upgrade low tiers first smhAnd I agree again with king tempest, we should focus on leveling up the mid tiers(heavy hitters) to hypersonic- hypersonic+ ranges first
NoEvery single time we see Cleave it's a net pattern
Cleave adjusts the power ie raises the normal output, so Cleave>Dismantle, and logically if Sukuna goes for a touch he'd use CleaveThere's no evidence for Cleave being > a point blank dismantle other than people assuming he meant Cleave when he said he has to "make contact".
I creamed a little

Great chapter.
Loved the development of Tokyo into an uninhabited den of demons with sorcerers occasionally culling them so they don't spread. Makes their job easier somewhat.
I like that Kaliyans aren't necessarily Curse Spirits, but like Tengen they're curse spirit adjacent. Meaning the Simurians won't die from Curse Spirits dying, but they can still communicate with them and see them as holy enough.
Also really interesting that the older intelligent sanctified Kaliyans can tell if someone is a sorcerer or not. They're kinda like Disaster Curses.
Yakumaru's CT is interesting. Seems somewhat like construction as he manifested guns and a flashlight attachment(?)
Dabura arriving might be set up for Yuji arriving too
Dabura is a chill guy so he might still push for peace here still, especially since he still needs the humans to help his sister.
Taking into consideration that he already vetoed their vote for war previously; Unless he exerts force, the Simurians would rally against him and there will be problems. They wouldn't take Cross being assaulted laying down, even if he was reaching for that dagger(?) at his waist.
And worse if Dabura chooses to quell their anger by requesting for something in exchange for Cross who was hurt, the humans could easily bring up Tsurugi almost being killed by Maru and tensions would rise nonetheless.
There's no winning here.
Very very very rare Mommy Wupgrade low tiers first smh
Phantom parade got a bunch what ifs like "What if Junpei survived" so I don't think soApparently phantom parade is canon?
Mahito changing his form to a exact Kalyan and no one realizes that it's Mahito but ItadoriYou know with the knowledge that Simurians vieew cursed spirits as holy I wonder how they'll interract with Mahito
