I'd argue that Time Eater, Egg Salamander and Egg Wizard perfectly demonstrate why they do have invulnerability. Just being categorically stronger than something else in Sonic doesn't give you a better chance of causing super forms harm.

Well invulnerability needs mechanics over feats or inference. Like for example "this character is invulnerable because they're exempt from a certain concept or law of physics" is valid while "they're just empowered by a magic energy" isn't

that sounds a bit arbitrary to say the least, also the chaos emeralds don't just empower you with magic energy (yes it does BUT IS NOT JUST THAT)

The point is it needs an elaborate why behind why they're invulnerability rather than "this thing makes them invulnerable because it just does and has esoteric powers"

Here is the most simple way to avoid NLF with invulnerability: It does not make you invulnerable to things it has not shown to be invulnerable to, which includes AP to that dimensional value.

I feel like Super curing transmutation is an example its invincibility is intended as invincibility since no level of durability would matter for the Metal Virus. Though I don't know if that matters for VS Battles, specifically.

might be best to make Super Sonic's invincibility a blog in of itself like the fluctuating nature of the Chaos Emeralds, expanding on its description, specific showcases to be more inline with the Invincibility standards that are being discussed ATM. Though, since we're in scan hell right now, its likely not the best thing to do

Their movesets aren't too interesting with each other and the connections feel really surface level, in my opinion.
