Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles General Discussion

Wait, who is the 5th turtle?

Whenever we get Mirage profiles, how do we treat the guest era?
Should we ignore all of it or just the really silly stuff?

************ I miss this thread.

Have watched some TMNT stuff back in the day, but my memory is in the gutter obviously after years has passed

Some noteworthy stuff from early on in the new Mutants Unleashed game:

The Mutant Mayhem continuity should get more representation on the wiki, especially now that Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Mutants Unleashed have both been released this year.

Also worth mentioning is that episode 5 of Tales of the TMNT gave Superduperfly a feat of smashing a large hole through a roof/ceiling during a flashback. Not sure if that would get a higher result than the GPE value he currently scales to.

Also, the Mechazoids survived getting a shipping container full of fireworks getting dropped on them in the middle of a shipping yard filled with containers of fireworks.

Feats involving Mechazoids:

More to be added later...

Apparently Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is getting a Blu-ray release on November 12:

TMNT 2012 would definitely benefit from more calcs and more keys that are split apart based on different points in the show

It's made pretty clear that the turtles get stronger and more skilled as the show continues. In the finale, each one of them are able to individually harm Super Shredder, who much stronger than and easily stomped the team previously, for example

Every TMNT universe needs work on this site tbh
Fr, it's a bit sad how they've gotten zero overhauls

The 1990 film pages might actually need the most reworking given they have two live action sequels as well as the 2007 film, which is considered to be the fourth film in that series. The wiki doesn't acknowledge any of the sequels

I was working on IDW but I dropped it cause of life. I have a bunch of calcs and draft profiles if anyone wants to continue.

Also, the official TMNT YouTube Channel has videos covering each of the 2012 Turtles. A lot of stuff can be pulled from them and applied to multiple aspects of the pages:

-Leo
-Raph
-Donnie
-Mikey

Also, if the 1987 pages ever get revised, how are we treating the Turtles Forever and the 2012 crossover episodes?

Both are seemingly canon to 87, but they both contradict each other. It's not even because both have somewhat similar premises. It's because 87 Donatello goes to the Mirage Universe with 2012 Donnie and doesn't recall the universe despite having gone there in Turtles Forever (I'm under the assumption that the 2012 Mirage scene operates similarly to the alternate version we see in Turtles Forever, so I'm not even gonna talk about any Mirage scaling there)

Obviously this isn't the highest priority for any potential future revisions for the 1987 pages, but the topic's definitely gonna come up at some point if that ever happens

Either
  • Continuity error.
  • The 2003 and 2012 Turtles met their own distinct versions of the 1987 Turtles (technically possible with the logic that there's infinite timelines but admittedly complete headcanon)
The 2012 Turtles should probably scale to the 1987 Turtles when they get Season 5 keys.

It's probably option 1, yeah

The 2012 Turtles should probably scale to the 1987 Turtles when they get Season 5 keys.

Agreed plus 1987 (and 2012) probably has some feats that are higher than 9-A

Speaking of which, this feat from the first episode of the 87 series could probably get some decent AP and LS results (divided by four for each turtle given this was a team effort of course). The wall here is pretty thick

I actually found some calcs on Reddit that can give turtles tier 7...

Your confirmation would be correct if it weren't for the fact that Saturday Morning Adventures (Official continuation of the 1987 series) acknowledges that both Crossovers happened and that only one line from '87 exists as such.

These would need calcs on VSBW due to the wiki policy AFAIK, but these could definitely be good

Honestly, the three big cartoons of the TMNT (1987, 2003, and 2012) are in desperate needs of more calcs

Another good example is with Bradford. As a human, he's able to go toe-to-toe with the turtles and even style on them. Later when he's Dogpound, the team get to a point where they're able to fight him comfortably, with Leo being able to harm him and with Donatello doing the same in one situation (as well as styling on him during another episode without even focusing on fighting Dogpound in the moment). Later against Rahzar, Raphael's able to harm him with a kick and in another situation, an exhausted Leo quickly takes down Rahzar, Fishface, and Tiger Claw in a row after having just suffered a combined beating from them and the Shredder

Needless to say, there's a lot of progression in both skill and strength for the characters in 2012

The Mutant Mayhem universe has been expanding quickly. By the end of 2027, it'll be at two movies, four seasons of Tales, a short film, a video game, and a comic book series taking place in it (and that's assuming nothing else gets announced)

Why would that be a nerf? That'd be an upgrade for Casey and April
UPS... I think I expressed myself badly... What I meant was that for some reason, their profiles do not scale to turtles despite there being clear evidence

One more handful of feats for the Mechazoids and related characters from the last episode of that arc from Tales of the TMNT:
