Submitting someone elses's cosmology for review (except it's not a cosmology page bc only one character scales)

We can't gather much from this, there's basically nothing to review. It's just a character page. There's no cosmology? Even if only one character scales to a certain level, there needs to be a cosmology that defines those levels.Submitting someone elses's cosmology for review (except it's not a cosmology page bc only one character scales)

Bump 1.Hello, I’d like to submit a profile for review. This is a fan-fictional alternate version of the character, based on the cosmology already accepted on the wiki.
when i do finish it, ill let you know okay sorryWe can't review unfinished cosmologies

bumping so my goat aradead can have a pageHere's a cosmology blog I made.
Where is this story being written, if I may?Hello, I’d like to submit a profile for review. This is a fan-fictional alternate version of the character, based on the cosmology already accepted on the wiki.
The official cosmology blog already establishes that The Player exists in the “Real World,” transcending the entire structure of the verse (The 3 game universes, Quantum States, and Many-Worlds Multiverse).
The Profile Justification!:
Just some Clarifications…
- In this alternate continuity, the main character’s prayers allow him to directly channel the power of The Player.
- Unlike canon, where prayers call upon external characters for help, here prayers summon The Player’s Avatar to empower themself. This grants him access to abilities that transcend the entire cosmology, placing this version of Ness at Low 1-C.
This profile does not alter canon Ness—it is explicitly labeled as a fan-fictional/alternate-universe version. All cosmology references are grounded in the already-approved cosmology thread/blog. The Player’s transcendence is what gives the justification, not the main character himself in canon, the real word is also said to be above the cosmology. I don’t know what else to say… I was told to show it here. So… yeah..!![]()
Honestly the references confuse me, I'm unsure what type of story this is supposed to be.bumping so my goat aradead can have a page
It's a parody of homestuck made on the mspa fan siteHonestly the references confuse me, I'm unsure what type of story this is supposed to be.
Notes, or Google DOC. I was given a file!Where is this story being written, if I may?
It's just difficult to judge the quality of the page since it lacks information for a tier 1 character. Fanfiction doesn't need to go through the whole cosmology acceptance thing, but tier 1 pages still need to stand out among other pages and quality is probably the most important thing. Like, is this a good fanfiction Ness? I haven't played Earthbound so I'm unsure how different it is. I'd like to know more.Notes, or Google DOC. I was given a file!
Like Deonment said, It's a parody of homestuck made on the mspa fan site. There are several more serious metafictional elements, though. Aradead in general is kind of meant to be a parody of Sprites^2, with Aradead reaching all these high levels of power by prototyping herself again and again which becomes extremely silly when she's like the entirety of the multiverse or whateverHonestly the references confuse me, I'm unsure what type of story this is supposed to be.
Sorry, I was somewhere else. I’m guessing you mean (Like, is this a good fanfiction Ness? I haven't played Earthbound so I'm unsure how different it is. I'd like to know more.

cool and new web comic cosmology

Here's a cosmology blog I made.
Sorry, are you referring to cool and new web comic here? Because if so I do think a lot of the misspellings are probably intentional (although tbh i have no clue where the line yall draw on parody is)Well, the references contain numerous misspellings and it feels like they are made to just explain cosmological stuff mid-story through some sort of exposition. There’s multiple instances of jargon words being used in these references as well. Generally speaking based on what I see, I don’t think it rises to the same quality as the other verses we’ve accepted before.
Yes.Sorry, are you referring to cool and new web comic here? Because if so I do think a lot of the misspellings are probably intentional (although tbh i have no clue where the line yall draw on parody is)

I know you aren't the author, so I'm not sure why you submitted this. Did they ask you too?Submitting a cosmology.
YesI know you aren't the author, so I'm not sure why you submitted this. Did they ask you too?
Okay (Anyway, I've already seen this cosmology in passing, and now that it's here apparently a tier 0 addition has been included? The actual structure of the blog istself isn't the worst we've had, but regardless, I already knew that this verse would be unacceptable.
Where to even begin...
Firstly, narrative. I believe the verse is almost entirely designed for high scaling and not to tell a genuine story. Based on everything I know and have seen, it's just bigger for the sake of bigger. I mean, the high tiers don't benefit then story in any way, shape, or form. It's completely unneccesary. From the bottom up, I don't really understand the neccesity of anything. I don't understand why there is an infinite multiverse. I don't understand the inclusion of an apparent supreme being.
Secondly, the quality itself. The character pages that are present on the wiki fall woefully short of the standards I'd expect out of tier 1/0 verses. THey barely contain any character info beyond the most basic of summaries. Now, I don't expect entire essays going into a character, but a tier 1 page needs to be at least somewhat exceptional. There needs to be a clear effort towards explaining character's personalities and motives, which the pages I know would be updated to include a tier 1 key upon acceptance don't really get into at all.
There's also characters important to the cosmology such as Death which apparently aren'tr indexed as tier 1 despite the fact they 'embody the paradoxes that sustain creation itself'. Alongside the pages which once included large size type 10, either there is incompotence afoot or there's something fishy going on.
Speaking of the pages, I've gleaned through them and the verse page and still have no clue what the story even is. The story is set in a place called happy town, which actually has its own civilization page, but even that provides next to no information. I've seen passages of the story and they are very powerscaling heavy. Just one example; the story states a character "ran across 5 kilometers in 0.05 seconds". I don't understand the choice to write it this way. t's frustratingly on the nose, jarring, and clearly intended to enact a value rather than immerse a reader.
Needless to say, as of the present moment I don't see any reason to accept this verse. The writing quality is generally poor and I have my doubts about there being narrative reasons with any substance behind them.
It should not be submitted again for another 2 months. In the meantime, I recommend a thorough studying of the tier 1 page rules.
Alright, so... another cosmology which is definitely not the worst, far from it, but I do still have issues with this. However, I'm not going to reject this outright since I do have some questions.I'm here to submit The Roleplay Verse's cosmology for review. It's relatively low-tiered, and a lot of the wank I had issues with previously has been removed :3![]()
The Roleplay Verse: Cosmology Explaination
The Roleplay Verse is the primary setting of the Iron's Vanadium Venue Roleplay Server, acting as the primary setting of the channel. It is there where all of the silliness from various characters combine, creating both emotionally complex as well as stupidly silly stories within itself...fcoc-vs-battles.fandom.com
PROGRESS YAYI'm not going to reject this outright since I do have some questions.
Some of the quotes are misspelled because they're taken straight outta the roleplay sessions, being other people's exact wording, not my ownFirstly, the apparent 5D aspects of the cosmology is something I have an issue with. I can't find any justification for 5D outside of a very silly quote, "holy sh*t a 5th dimentional elder god" (just as well, dimensional was spelled wrong in the quote, which isn't a great sign). I don't really understand the whole thing with Elder Gods or what exactly the story does with higher dimensions. All the blog really discusses about them is that there is an infinite multiverse that just has a fifth dimension. I understand Gods needing to be beyond the realms of mortals, but such a thing isn't mentioned in the blog, and considering their apparent interactions with characters like Nob seeming to be alike with interactions between any other character, this isn't actually the case.
It's definitely somewhat notable, if someone were to go back to the source material and see that they'd be confused as to why the cosmology is so small...the intention with the references were that people would read them where they were placed rather than at the bottom, but I could add another part directly in the sentence if most people skip to the bottom for references :3Beyond that, the blog offhandedly says that they've (elder gods) only been shown up to five dimensions, but also implies that there are infinite dimensions somehow?? And this isn't brought up again across the rest of the blog until the very bottom where it's said that such a statement is an outlier and has been disregarded. Said outlier is also basically the very definition of what the purge eliminated from FCOC. So I'm unsure of why you still mentioned it in the main sections.
Some better quotes about the void have been made, as long as it's fine I could probably replace the old ones with some better ones :3The Void of Nonexistence, to put it bluntly, lacks substance. It's a tiny section on the blog and honestly very easy to just scroll right past without paying mind to it. It doesn't contain anything interesting or captivating, it just is. The quotes listed within that section also lack substance and don't really inform anyone of what the void actually is or why a reader/onlooker should care about it or be interested in it. Is the sole point of the void to just be the 'outside'? I feel like it could be cut out entirely and there would be no difference.
Similarly to the void, The Audience's showings are increasing as time goes on, with some better quotes available later that I can put in there as long as it's fine :3Next is the Audience, which I actually believe is an interesting concept. But like the void, it just feels undercooked, although to a lesser extent. The section on the blog is tiny and, outside of character quotes, only discusses the apparent transcendence of them beyond the void. I would like for you to explain the importance and effect of of The Audience to the overall plot of the verse.
This doesn't entirely answer my question, this is mostly just you expanding on the fact that a 5th dimension exists. I know it exists, that much is apparent on the blog. What I want to know is what Elder Gods actually are. The main cast, who are mortal, lower creatures, don't seem to view these characters as 'gods' on any fashion. So I don't really know why they're scaled using a higher dimension when they could easily pass as any other character based on my knowledge. Is there nothing special to being an 'Elder God'? Why do they exist? I don't understand why these god characters are gods in-verse when I can't find any notable information about them. The basis of 5D stuff existing is both multiple of Mel's characters (June, Mel, Emerald & others) talking about it and the existence of Chad The 5th Dimensional Elder God. He was a medium-sized plot point within Nob's research prior to the THUS arc, where Nob summoned him from the 5D space (and sealing both his true form and powers) to try and gain info on him. Chad is one of 2 characters who've been able to manhandle Nob consistently, and is also heavily implied to be on par with Katie (that of whom is the other character who's been able to manhandle Nob, as well as Patatino/his gadgets, both of the Hatgets as well as Derreck's base and Blanco form, the latter of which at max power can destroy the main roleplay verse, the 5th dimension and the infinite multiverses), with the interaction between Chad and Nob basically just being Katie attempting to defuse the situation and stop Chad from beating Nob to a pulp. That part isn't explained well, and could definitely be explained better tho-
So are there infinite dimensions or not?? I was confused why it was included in the main section because the cosmology supposedly no longer has infinite dimensions. Whether it does or does not needs to be more clear. I know there are statements of it within your verse yet you don't scale the cosmology to High 1-B. Can you clarify this? It's definitely somewhat notable, if someone were to go back to the source material and see that they'd be confused as to why the cosmology is so small...the intention with the references were that people would read them where they were placed rather than at the bottom, but I could add another part directly in the sentence if most people skip to the bottom for references :3
Part of my problem with the quotes is that they just generally feel unserious by nature. One of them mentions this thing called void floor and Nob's quote features an actual smiley face in his dialogue somehow. If there are better quotes with a more serious context, yes I would like to see them. Some better quotes about the void have been made, as long as it's fine I could probably replace the old ones with some better ones :3
It's a little funny lol, what's within The Void Of Nonexistence is currently being expanded upon in the THUS arc, albeit by a little bit. It currently contains Katie's Room, but it also contains The Sandstorm Glasshouse (basically where The Phytans, godly creatures who have knowledge on THUS and work with Pat, live within. It's also slowing down the time it'll take for Movie Night to happen, and it's currently planned for the main cast to go there before fighting The Audience). In a way its similar to how the 5th dimension functions with Chad, with gods also being capable of "setting up home base" there too :3
Well, it does have potential, but like the other parts I wish there was more information. I don't actually mind this part of the cosmology since I like the concept and they have a major role, but I'll be keeping an eye on it.Similarly to the void, The Audience's showings are increasing as time goes on, with some better quotes available later that I can put in there as long as it's fine :3
While the 2 can be somewhat interchangeable, THUS and The Audience are basically the main antagonists of the THUS arc. Nob's entire character arc has basically just been "getting stronger so that he can defend himself and others from danger", and The Audience is essentially a supersized version of that. Before the THUS arc, Nob was busy making contingency plans to deal with any gods he may encounter, but Interesting Face (either an avatar or hired man, working under THUS or The Audience either way) stole the contingency plans, leading to a chain of events that caused THUS to start the timer for Movie Night.
In short, The Audience is the main antagonist, as well as the entire reason that the THUS arc exists :3
What.Small update uh...apparently the cosmology for the RP verse is changing still (the guy said it wouldn't but apparently it is now)...consider this me unsubmitting the thing, at least for right now, i'll be back to submit it after the story arc is over :<
This is for 2 reasons mainly:What. You submitted this because you were sure there would be no changes, did you not? Why are they changing it now?
There's only 2 statements within the RP verse that imply/state higher dimensions beyond the 5th, that being Derreck Blanco's attack description and Nob noting that there's more than 100 elder gods. The latter could easily be chalked up to elder gods existing in 4th or 5th dimensions, and the former is very obviously power scaling-based, hence why its been disregarded (why the verse doesn't hit High 1-B levels)So are there infinite dimensions or not?? I was confused why it was included in the main section because the cosmology supposedly no longer has infinite dimensions. Whether it does or does not needs to be more clear. I know there are statements of it within your verse yet you don't scale the cosmology to High 1-B. Can you clarify this?
YIPPEEEWell, it does have potential, but like the other parts I wish there was more information. I don't actually mind this part of the cosmology since I like the concept and they have a major role, but I'll be keeping an eye on it.
These are the same people who had a genuine conversation about the calorie content of a human collarbone, don't expect a lot of serious quotes from themPart of my problem with the quotes is that they just generally feel unserious by nature. One of them mentions this thing called void floor and Nob's quote features an actual smiley face in his dialogue somehow. If there are better quotes with a more serious context, yes I would like to see them.
It being named the Void Of Nonexistence is not the most accurate descriptorYou didn't really answer my question about the void, I asked if the point of it was to be the 'outside' of everything. What do you do with that concept? If it is a void of actual non-existence, how does it contain places like Katie's Room and The Sandstorm Glasshouse? It's fine that it's still being expanded on but I need to know more. It simply existing and being a place where other places also exist isn't enough.
What role do 'resets' play in the story? How does the void contribute to their occurrence? It being named the Void Of Nonexistence is not the most accurate descriptor, it's more just a large-scale structure that encompasses other structures, containing Katie's Room/The Sandstorm Glasshouse & The Roleplay Verse...it does have story significance though, removing it would remove 3 chapters from the THUS arc, Katie's room/the Glasshouse & the more satisfactory ending to Chad fighting Derreck. Depending on the circumstance, it may also prevent resets from happening too...
You really should have waited to submit this, since even you are acknowledging that parts of it are subpar and there are apparently changes being made to it mid-review that caused you to unsubmit it. It just gives off the feel of an unfinished project and contains low information on key points. This is for 2 reasons mainly:
For one, this does need better writing and explanations...I need some work on that, and your help if you're willing to offer it up :3
For two (and yes, I'm a little bit peeved about this), pat said that there is likely to be some cosmology changes, even after he said that there wouldn't be...while these are likely minor, it'll throw a stake into the gears of the review process and make stuff more confusing for you guys. I don't know why its suddenly undergoing minor changes, but it's most definitely for story reasons as all of the cosmology changes have had heavy story importance, so I trust him here :0
Ope forgot this-This doesn't entirely answer my question, this is mostly just you expanding on the fact that a 5th dimension exists. I know it exists, that much is apparent on the blog. No? There has never been a requirement for quotes.Question: Does every section need quotes in this blog? Quotes from the story of course..
Okay, thanksNo? There has never been a requirement for quotes.
I suppose you can do this if you wish, but really you should just observe the accepted cosmologies and see what they do and don't have. Most if not all do not have this.Question: Must there be section for the god tiers??! Or must we tell you who scales to what?
KayI suppose you can do this if you wish, but really you should just observe the accepted cosmologies and see what they do and don't have. Most if not all do not have this.
