Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

all this talk about where u got the godtiers when not one discusses the Lifting Strength (important)
We have that mostly covered. Is there some feat we're forgetting? High tiers scale to Yuta and Yuji, Class M.

ElJoaki5 made a calc recently that Kenny's Max Uzumaki that only used Mahito made a large town level crater (using the anime) and kusakabe blocked it and we know later he (alongside the rest of the cast) got way more durable in prep for the Shinjuku showdown and we know kusakabe doesn't quite stack up with the heavy hitters so, if it ever gets accepted as unlikely as that is on this wiki, large town heavy hitters is possible
Can't wait for that to be called an outlier.

A heavily weakened version of said ultimate attack (one curse was used)
And it's Kusakabe, strongest First Grade 🤧

The official release is out so
  • Maru is 19
  • One thing that really makes me feel weird is the fact that Maru implies to know other races across space; "It depends of the race"
  • Despiste the manga being about aliens, outspace and such, it seem way more grounded than the main series. They dealing with a curse user that target kids and their families, while pretending to be a child, instead of jump right into a space grade, is nice
  • Guardian spirits seem to be more common than we thought
  • The first volume is always around 7 chapters, so we are prolly in a major climax here. My guess is that the curse user will either injure Maru on great degrees or even straight up kill him (pls no). The whole chapter is about how they need to protect Maru to give a good look for the aliens, so the curse user will def ruin it. Killings children while also attacking the representant of the Simurians will make things go bad
EDIT: Oh, and Maru says that his home world is completly GONE

I'm aware of what is shear strength. The thing is, for Jogo to move the buildings, he would need to rip off steel cables infused on concret to move them. These building are not like a cube disconnected from the ground.

If you watch the video, you will even note that most of Jogo's effort in the feat was to even start to move it
For building feats, depending on how it's ripped from the ground you either use tensile or shear strength. If they lift it straight up from the ground, you do tensile. If they push it to the side and shear it from the ground you use shear strength. Jogo pushed both the buildings sideways. So I assume you'd just calc the area of the building's edge/end and multiply it by the shear strength of concrete and whatever other material you deem necessary.

That said, I think the buildings you calculated in the feat are likely a lot taller than what you calculated there. Also, why pixel-scale the buildings height when you can just count how many stories there are and multiply the height of a story by how many there are? Plus that way it's easier to add the height of the parts of the building that go FAR offscreen downwards by just counting as many floors as possible. In the scan you pixel-scaled alone there are 21 stories. I imagine you'd be able to rack the height up by a good amount.
