Hello,
I would like to open a discussion on the consistency of regeneration levels, particularly between Mid-High and High-Mid, since the current distinction often causes confusion.
As of now:
- High-Mid: Regeneration after the destruction of organs or vital internal structures.
-Mid-High: Regeneration from vaporization, liquefaction, and similar forms of near-total physical erasure.
The issue is that the logic of classification can feel reversed:
- A being that regenerates from vaporization (being almost erased) seems more impressive than one that restores only organs.
- Yet in the current hierarchy, High-Mid is ranked “above” Mid-High.
This leads to confusion in debates and in character evaluations.
Proposed revision:
Explicitly clarify that Mid-High should be understood as regeneration against quantitative destruction (massive loss of matter), while High-Mid represents qualitative survival (restoration of vital internal systems).
Open question:
Do you think the definitions should be rewritten to more clearly reflect the difference between “quantitative” (mass erasure) and “qualitative” (organ restoration), in order to avoid contradictions in classification?
Thanks in advance for your input.
