Fire Emblem Discussion thread: New Forum, New Mystery of the Emblem

Think they decided FE4 remake was postponed due to the fact that normally remakes aren't something you want to advertise for new consoles right off the bat and it's probably going to be Late 2028 is rough estimate for FE4 remake.

100% what happened, it might even already be done and could release sooner than we think

"I don't need a switch 2 until a new Xenoblade Chronicles game comes out-"
Sees a new fire emblem game connected to Three Houses is coming to Switch 2
"Yeah, I need to get a switch 2 next year"

If this new game takes place in Fodlan once again, would this mean the old three house discourse will be renewed
According to Nagapedia, it will probably take place on a different continent that neighbors Fodlan. And that it looks like there would be like 4 lords and our "Avatar" if they have one hasn't been revealed.

Well, he and everyone else are just theorizing for now, so we'll have to wait and see.
True, it is all speculate.

Though about the handguns, they're obviously magic oriented handguns in terms of what ammunition/fuel it uses. But I think they're going to basically be like how Cannonballs were in Engage. Save they won't be locked to DLC only reclass and probably be more common enemy units and there may exist some units who have that as a standard class. But like cannon balls, it might use Dex as the base attack stacker instead of Str or Mag.

It probably takes place after Three Houses or in an alternate universe considering Cai has the Crest of Aubin, Heroes Relics are called Heroes Relics, and Sothis is an adult all at the same time

People question what ending it follows or if none of the 4 routes were canon; (Or if Three Hopes has the true route). Though most speculate that Crimson Flower is the least likely route due to Crests still existing. Assuming that no golden route and is one of the main Three Houses routes, I think Silver Snow or Golden Deer are probably the most likely ones.

Imagine the routes you pick is based on the previous games routes, so you get to pick what one actually happened

Nearly finished the profile for Veyle she just need an intelligence section and a gallery. Tell me if you can find something to add.

I have been thinking about something that could be a lot of upgrades for all timelines basically. Though obviously, I would want to avoid the ultimate overboard example. But the bare minimum is that I kind of basically think all Fire Emblem universes should pretty much have 7-B Common/Mid Tiers (Or at least Low 7-B for GBA ones, but might just be 7-B anyway for another reason)

But then there's also an argument for God Tiers especially to get big upgrades, but some cross scaling proposals might be a bit reaching.

First of all, remember the support conversation from Awakening that confirms lightning being real lightning? Long ago, we thought that was Bolting's description, but that's just the standard Thunder tome that's in every FE title. The same description also mentions formation of thunder storm clouds, which is Low 7-B to 7-B from here. I know we normally go off low ends but, there is also Blizzard. It appears in Marth's timeline, Tellius games, and Three Houses, just not the GBA titles. Though Fimbulvetr is arguably a better Blizzard. Standard calculation for blizzard would be a solid 7-B. Though, The DLC character Randal has in the past been used as a likelihood for Roy's timeline cast being Tier 7. Likewise, I feel as if reacting to Lightning should use the highest calculation for all FE titles, that be the MHS+.

As for god tiers, what if it was a standard assumption that a Divine Dragon or Dark Dragon in one FE title is just as strong as or at least within the same Ballpark as any other? Obviously, Engage alone would upgrade all god tiers to 1-C, but I'd make Engage/Heroes exceptions for now. But what if the High 6-A feat from Sothis applies to all Divine Dragons and by extension Dark Dragons? Or the 4-A feats from Fates that Naga upscales from also applied to Three Houses? Actually, even the low end of Anankos' feat was calculated using outdated methods for Black holes, which using new methods kind of makes it painfully 5-A range. With 5-A being his low end, that would easily upgrade Naga and other Divine Dragons low ends and gets rid of High 6-C low ends outright. Speaking of Divine Dragons, Anyone remember that Fa is a Divine Dragon and Idunn was a Dark Dragon who was originally a Divine Dragon? And went back to being one in the best Ending? Ah, maybe they should have scaling from the respective feats from Sothis, Anankos, and Lilith. Which would upgrade Binding Blade, but have doubts on any of the Divine Weapons downscaling aside from Zephiel using Exaacus if that happens. Though there are plenty of arguments that Divine Weapons + Binding Blade + Divine Dragons should upscale from the hypothetical planet busting statements, but of course I have always had doubts about that + translation dubious. Though, Tellius having the strongest god tiers (Outside Heroes/Engage) is honestly consistent. Ike exists is the obvious reason. But, Priam was implied to be comparable if not superior to Chrom, and this is despite his weapon being a weakened version of Ragnell, it's similar to what happened to Divine Weapons and losing unbreakable status was the biggest downgrade. This could be a reason for Ike, Ashnard, and Black Knight to upscale. And while Black Dragon Laguz aren't exactly the same as Dark Dragons, they're sort of the equivalent of Divine Dragons in this timeline despite their color. And then King Dheginsea is stated to be considerably stronger than the Black Knight and even called Ike's power after besting a 100% serious Black Knight "A mere fraction of his." And of course, Yune and Ashera are even stronger. Sacred Stones would sadly be the only one left out if we went this route, and stuck at Country level+.

I'm unsure about the whole god tier thing, and sounds choosy to leave out Engage as the exception when going all or nothing. But every FE having 7-B (Or at least Low 7-B in Sacred Stones case) sounds great to me.

The old "Fire Emblem The Complete " guide also stated the real thunder thing as well (page 87) though this just a cheap translation filter i used so could be wrong in some places.

But as for the god tier scaling, yea it sounds like there's a lot of work to figure out there, Sothis being considered among other Divine Dragon is a recent thing from that Heroes event right?

If I remember right Tiki even at a young age was stated to be the strongest divine dragon ever born so it could be used to bring Tiki and those who scale to her to Sothis level

Edit: I checked and it was the Dragon Legacy forging bond:

"Naga: It is about...Tiki, my child. Her power is far too great. To my knowledge, no Divine Dragon has ever been born with such strength as she has.

Medeus:I have sensed a glimpse of that power in her small form... Immeasurable..."

Sounds like she's talking about "Strength from birth" context. Where she is surprisingly strong despite her young age.
