It does a little bit with Goku predicting Hit's attacks through his Time Skip despite either being straight up stopping time or attacking Goku in the future depending on how you interpret the ability and later on with a much stronger and more adapted version of Hit admitting that using Time Skip against Goku would be charitable of him since it wouldn't work anyways.

You could use GT Goku. His Intelligence section was pretty buffed up when I did the whole Overhaul on his thread.

Average generally. Extraordinary Genius in Combat:

Although he lacks knowledge when it comes to things that aren't related to fighting, Goku is a master of prodigal skill when it comes to martial arts, with years of experience fighting against powerful opponents with a plethora of abilities. As a child, he was able to beat martial artists on such a level as Grandpa Gohan, who was stated to be an unparalleled master in all martial arts on Earth, with martial arts in Dragon Ball exceeding real life towards Dan/Level 30 where there is only 10. In his battle with Master Roshi, was able to copy and improve upon a technique on sight, later in that same battle once faced against the Sui-Ken, a martial art he couldn't copy because he had never experienced inebriation, Goku generated and created his own style known as the "Crazy Fist" in response to perfectly counter it off the top of his head, with these styles even specifically noted to be a variation of Kenpo.

At this point should be so skilled he's beyond 22nd World Tournament Roshi and Tien, the former of which having such mastery his movements, energy, and breathing have no ineffiency, and the latter being able to detect this merely via observation of scant attacks whilst his future foe was suppressed. Learned predictive movements and enemy reading in merely three days and was able to immediately apply it in combat. His skill when it comes to combat and the usage of Ki allows him to replicate other Ki-based techniques after seeing them once, and learned the training of the mind within a day, which takes battles that are dead even in all physical abilities, except stamina, which was above Goku's, as well as all techniques go from even to utter defeats of the enemy. Eventually learned to make absolutely zero unnecessary movements, which is shown by creating absolutely no sound from bells that react to the tiniest movement. Honed his mind, body, and spirit in conjunction with each other for his martial arts.

Should be more skilled than and effective at copying than Vegeta, who was able to replicate the Energy Sensory of the Z-Fighters by merely battling them, and their methods aren't detectable by any known conventional means. He was the first to realize how much energy the Super Saiyan transformations unnecessarily drained and despite the drawback was the first to master the Super Saiyan state, making it highly efficient and subsidizing the need to reach a higher grade, which decreases speed as a side effect. Cell was even noted by others to perfect the martial arts and techniques of those who comprised him such as Tien's Multiform Technique, removing their flaws, and yet Goku was able to face four copies of Cell whilst their physical ability was identical off of his own raw battle intelligence and skill. When Goku fought Androids 13, 14, and 15, who were made by the Backup Supercomputer, they had his full combat data on his fighting styles to predict him, and yet he could easily match them. Should be more skilled and rigorous in improving technique in training than Piccolo, who regularly utilizes perfect copies of himself to train with to hone all of his capabilities to their utmost extent. Fought and saw through all of the moves of the Sigma Force, who had combat data on all of his capabilities that allowed them to evade and punish all of his movements as well as knowledge of all their fighting styles.

Identified that it wasn't Haze Shenron getting stronger, but him and Pan getting weaker. Tricked the Sigma Force into revealing their capabilities by suppressing himself and allowing them to believe they had advantage as he learned everything they could do, allowing him to fight beyond their data. Is so capable of advancement in techniques that mere knowledge that a move exists without any deeper knowledge allows him to create counters as well as copy them. At this point is so skilled with Energy Sensory that suppression that makes beings invisible even to skilled users of Earthling Ki Sensing like Trunks cannot hide from him.

Even outside of Combat, Goku is no slouch mentally. He played on the ego of Naturon Shenron to trick him into making Pan vulnerable so he could free him, planned a convincing act and fight with Nuova Shenron to trick Omega Shenron into a gambit that guaranteed victory outside of a specific ability they had no knowledge of, was able to identify and operate around a plan of Trunks and Giru's own making within secret to then perfectly go along with and bolster their scheme, revealing Baby and allowing them an attempt to kill the Tuffle. Was capable of crafting another plan along with Trunks and Pan to get Baby to reveal his own aims, make himself vulnerable, and defeat him. Goku was capable of realizing how Baby's body possession worked and figured out that cutting off his tail would force him into being ejected.

That seems kind of…weeeeird and inefficient? I mean, fighting skill isn’t exactly a uniform and easily comparable art in terms of versus debating, but the Wiki is primarily meant to Index, not battleboard. The battleboarding is just a convenient perk given the pages act as (ideally) accurate summations of a character’s ability. Hence why unofficial rules (aka, Rules that applied to the forum but were not mentioned on the Wiki Pages) even existed to begin with.

But if that’s the case, then uh, I guess I’ll change it.

Unlike general intelligence, combat skill is not ranked on a scale with labels like "Genius" or "Supergenius." Due to the many factors involved, a simple rating system would fail to accurately capture a character's combat proficiency.

Now I wonder.

Do you have the scans saying Icarus from the DBZ Anime was = the movie one?.

Like, the Daizenshuu says the movie happened in another dimension, but it's directly contradicted by Icarus's mere existence in the show.
No source ever explains how Anime Gohan knows Icarus, except some DBZ guides saying it's the same one.

People would have speculate hard and make their own headcanon, suggesting Gohan met Icarus off-screen somehow in a other sequence of events.

DBS anime Goku just resist all Reinhard notable duraneg attacks, so Goku one-shots.

DBS manga don't resist one duraneg option for Reinhard, so he just get cooked by his "my first attack always hit" that he have.

So the debate is really a foregone conclusion.

His Tree of Might Backstory is referenced a good few times. In Lord Slug’s Pamphlet’s, the Anime Character List in Return of Cooler’s, Son Goku Denetsu, and the Daizenshuu. The first three only alluded to it being ToM, generally just talking about the fire he’s saved from, but Daizenshuu 7 makes it quite clear.

“Hire Dragon:
History: Gohan saves him from a mountain fire in “Super Decisive Battle for Earth”. Though he’s not too fond of people, he likes Gohan.
Special Characteristics: He’s distinguished by his two horns, round eyes, and large wings.
Techniques: He can fly freely through the air, and give people rides. In “Super Saiyan Son Goku”, he performed by dancing along to Gohan’s whistling. It appeared not only in the movies, but in the TV show as well. In the middle of the Garlic Jr. arc, he noticed the Aqua Mist, and saved Gohan by pushing him into a cave. (Daizenshuu 5, p.38/Daizenshuu 6, p.60)”

So generally speaking, it’s safe to assume he’s the ToM Dragon. Of course, that leads to some narrative holes, but we already handled that in the Cooler thread. Plus, ToM is necessarily canon because it’s canon other things that we know are canon to the Toei Anime, like the Future Trunks Special, or Fusion Reborn, etc.
