Super soldiers are currently scaled to the following two calculations.

I recalculated these two calculations and got lower results.

So Super Soldiers should be scaled to Cap's this feat, meaning that Super Soldiers' AP should be downgrade from 1.23239764271 Tons of TNT to 0.914 Tons of TNT, and Super Soldiers' LS should also be downgrade from Class 100 to Class 50 due to this feat.

Some may say that was told Captain America is stronger than Deathlok, so he should be scaled to 1.02732 Tons of TNT and Class 100, but since the canon status of AOS is unclear, he and others should not be scaled.

The list of characters will effect by this downgrade is below.
Characters affected by both AP and LS downgrades
Characters affected only by AP downgrade
I may have forgotten to add a few people to this list. If there are more people affected by this downgrade please share.

Because the AP of 9-A peak humans is currently scaled to 10% that of Super Soldiers, they would also be slightly downgraded to 0.0914 Tons of TNT (still 9-A). Skrulls and those who scale to them, being 15% stronger than humans, would be at 0.10511 Tons of TNT. (9-A instead of 9-A+) Characters such as Jessica Jones who got to 9-A+ through upscaling from 9-A characters probably wouldn't be able to do so now, as reaching baseline 9-A+ would now require a roughly 1.4x increase.

I think that's enough approval to apply this now, we're well past grace.

Was in the middle of applying everything when I got around to Sandman and realised that based off this calc. on his page he and everybody else should be scaling to 1.08 tons instead of 0.914 tons. Would that change much?

What about Skrulls and characters like Jessica Jones though. Are they back to 9-A+ now? I'm not really sure what the criteria for the whole plus thing is still.
So if the Sandman calc is at 4539416170 joules, or 1.0849465033460926 tons if we want to be really specific, and the midpoint of 9-A is 0.1275 tons, then Skrulls, at 15% above 0.10849465033460926 tons, would be at 0.12476884788 tons, just missing out on hitting 9-A+. Upscaling to 9-A+ would require a multiplier of under 1.176x, which probably wouldn't be too difficult for argue for characters like Jessica Jones.

What's also interesting is that 1.0849465033460926 tons is extremely close to the midpoint of 8-C, which is 1.125 tons. So anyone who could be argued to be just 3.7% stronger than Sandman at his weakest should be able to upscale to 8-C+

The earthquake caused by Sandman had the description "Minor". And on the Richter scale, the description "Minor" is used for earthquakes between 2.0–2.9 magnitude. Therefore, the calculation is incorrect. When the calculation is performed using the correct magnitude value, the result is lower than Cap's feat.

The corrected calculation is as follows:

Low-End = (2) + 0.0238*(19.97/2) = mag 2.237643
Mid-End = (2.45) + 0.0238*(19.97/2) = mag 2.687643
High-End = (2.9) + 0.0238*(19.97/2) = mag 3.137643

Low-End energy = 10^(1.5*2.237643+4.8) = 143372051.641 Joules, or 0.0342667427 Tons
Mid-End energy = 10^(1.5*2.687643+4.8) = 678366667.339 Joules, or 0.1621335247 Tons
High-End energy = 10^(1.5*3.137643+4.8) = 3209700426.89 Joules, or 0.7671368133 Tons

Oh okay nvm then

I personally would not upscale until the characters are within the threshold of 1.1-1.15x of the feat, even for casually-performed feats.

You can make a new calc blog if you wish.

I've applied the changes to most of the pages that were affected but I might have missed some. Still I think this thread can be closed now.
