All Purpose Dragon Ball Thread

I'm half (sort of?) east European/Slavic if that counts. My other half is Northeast Asian and west European.
The first thing that came to my mind is that you probably look like an Uyghur or Central Asian Turkic person.

Altho, people with similar backgrounds like yours are not uncommon.

Look at the Tartars or the Finnish tribes.

My friend left his phone at my place. I keep calling and texting him but he's not responding. Any ideas?

You tried calling the guy who doesn’t have a phone? Try contacting the guy’s family members or other friends who might be closer to him
Btw I got a translation for you for the panel you posted in the translation request thread. In it, Goku's saying not to try some massive change without telling us first.

Lmaoooo it's not that though, I was just trying to grab something for someone offsite

Guys, what do yout think of this scan (an interview to Atsushi Maekawa) where he supposdely says that Ultimate Gohan was superior to Goku throughout the Buu saga? People use it to try and debunk Kid buu > All other buus. Dunno but I personally think people grossly minsterpret it

"What were some concepts and such that unfortunately got shelved?:

I was given quite a bit of freedom working on GT, so aside from whether they were animated or not, the ideas were limitless. For each character, plenty of subplots existed that never made it to the screen. For instance, in Gohan’s case, there was apparently so much as an “Ultimate Gohan” concept in Dragon Ball Z, where he was a super-warrior with might surpassing Goku, but in GT, he’s a scholar who’s given up fighting almost entirely. But for someone who had given up fighting like that to return to the front lines, I thought that naturally there needed to be quite a bit of drama involved".

GT follows the Toei anime which contradicts that idea in numerous ways. Regardless saying Ultimate Gohan surpassed Goku at that moment is probably fine, it just indicates Goku surpassed Gohan again later.

Yep, he was just comparing the shelved concepts of GT with the "Gohan the strongest fighter" in Z, becouse we know that in the end Goku got most of the screen throughout the rest of Z. And he's right, this concept never made it entirely.

Yeah, not to mention the GT perfect files says Kid Buu is the strongest too

Is the Kirby VS Majin Buu Death Battle the worst Dragon Ball video ever made?
That fight was really enjoyable ngl, the research was something but that’s a given for most of early death battle. Goku vs Superman 2 imo is the worst Dragon Ball fight, probably with the most poor research too, and Bieber vs Rebecca is the worst Death Battle in general and it’s not close.

The fight was 99% Kirby giving Buu hits that he should regenerate from instantly, and 1% Kirby dealing an attack that shouldn't have killed him.

Throughout the whole fight Kirby was kinda on the back foot, Fat Buu wasn't really fighting all that seriously and he knocked Kirby out of their Copy ability twice and Kid Buu was immune to the thing that dealt with Fat Buu (Being eaten and sealed within Kirby's dimension) and nothing Kirby could do, even with the Star Rod, could kill him.

The attack that killed Buu was his own attack, that he spent a while charging up, being turned against him, and the Sun, ya know, the thing that killed Broly and Baby.

Kid Buu literally survived his Planet Burst in the show, and he can regenerate from vapor.

Pretty sure it was already made and deleted cause Kakarot Goku doesn't have enough to differentiate him from regular Goku.
