accurate translation. i imagine it sorta just means flattening enemies with a gravitational field but in my 5 minutes of searching i couldn't find a spell compilation on youtube to see if the actual attack animation would help elaborate.

i arbitrarily assignned 属性 as element (given its literally fire, water, wind, ice, come on) and 元素 as essence because it's normally used to refer to chemical elements but the word element is already in use so i found a synonym

Ah yeah, sorry, Attribute is the localized term so we stuck to that. Essence actually fits like a glove since that actually does makes it clear what fire, water, etc are supposed to be in this context.

i'm not 100% sure on the last part of the first sentence either. i think it would be "characteristics determined by the order and chaos of the holy, the dark and the essences that compose all creation"

So, your guess is that it's not like we thought first that holy was related to order and darkness to chaos, rather that both order and chaos are related to all elements, holy and dark included, correct?

it does objectively just say "a higher dimension" in no uncertain terms. contextually, i have seen similar phrasing used to refer purely to power (the same way you might say "he's on a whole other level") but i do not have context for this nor know FFT's story so that is for you to evaluate if it makes sense

The given context could mean unimaginable power or an actual higher existence. I don't think it's enough for anything, but it's still a good supporting evidence for some other stuff that places the villains as "powerful beyond mortal comprehension ooga booga booga!".

We think the author could have just used some bad choice of words if it is the case that the words used before do indeed refer specifically to stars.

the only change i would make is "Their status varies from region to region." in the fanTL of the 3rd box
位置づけ can refer to placement like a hierarchy, but in this case (much like the official TL says) i think it's just referring to their actual position in the world, given it uses ばらばら which means like scattered/spread out
that's the only thing i have any complaints about though (and it's a pretty minor one at that too), the rest is fine
oh also 異界 is ikai, not kotokai.

It got translated and proofread by a team of people, but I want the translations checked or fixed if need be so I can use them. Not everything on these pages I need just what's mentioned in the translation below.
