I'm not an expert on the games, but I'd definitely recommend citing the abilities

She demonstrates all of her abilities in game and in cutscenes and her resistances are listed in the DQ wiki

this video shows off the cutscenes and boss fight which showcases a good chunk of her abilities but not all of them

I changed Baran to early 30's as that's the much more likely age range, he has no business being almost a decade older than Soala when he met her.

As for the dragons in Baran's arc, they were all outright more powerful than Flazzard which is why Dai struggled with them. Dragons aren't a joke and neither was Baran's army.

Going by this, the power of light (and on the flip side darkness) is the power to fill things with light/darkness. This is described as the true power, i.e projection of power.

I think the Zenithian Saga stuff should be deleted. It's horribly outdated and based on poor translation work from whoever researched it in the past. I will focus on DQXI stuff first as it's chronologically the first, and it's the most notable powerwise

You can ask for it to be given a note at the top of the article that specifies that the article is outdated and is currently in the works. They did so for the Fate pages and that way we avoid losing what we have, little as it may be.

I'd say yes? By this point the games pretty openly acknowledge the others in the setting.

I hope are were more statements pertaining to the greater DQ cosmology, because one statement from Empyrea still feels shaky. Right now I'm comfortable with "2-C, possibly 2-B" if revisions were to be done.

In general, crossover games tend to address that sort of thing, since they normally use a multiverse to explain how characters from different games end up in the same place for the story.

I wonder if Dragon Quest X has some sort of statement, like if each character's game is their own instance of a universe or something. I will have to ask someone well acquainted with DQX.

Edit: Apparently, in DQX each server is its own universe, so while there are dozens of DQX universes as a result, not 2-B RIP.

Heroes is also a possibility also being a crossover game.

I wouldn't disregard X just yet, it could be similar to Pokemon where every game copy is a different universe, but still reached 2-A due to including multiple timelines, infinite possibilities or similar jazz.

Have you checked side materials, such as guides? Usually those shed some good lore info on this sort of stuff.

Apparently he was a controversial figure but IDK anything about him, but SuperBearNeo has blogs on Omniversal Battlefield (Or was it CSAP?) for Dragon Quest's cosmology. I'm mostly iffy to downright in massive disagreement on them from what I read, but maybe they have information that can be sifted through and accepted:

I didn’t even know there was another thread. That’s cool. We should probably stick to one thread though, so maybe this one should be dedicated to DQ Dai stuff since it doesn’t really connect with the main series and that’s what was originally discussed with this thread.
