One Piece new chapter spoilers thread

Also, Harald shot a snot that caused an explosion, launching a fish out of the water with 0 effort LMAO Harald OP too (First page)

Loki surviving the fall of possibly higher than kaido's fall as a baby is crazy.
Loki is the true strongest creature all time!
Eye powers + Great haki/COC + Orz size + Ancient op hammer and possibly (most likely) an mythical fruit
HOW IN THE HELL DID SHANKS beat this guy!??
Shanks could have jumped him.

He was stronger

Or he teamed up with Scopper Gaban in order to do so while Loki was severely distraught by his father's death. Let's wait and see. 🙏

Just finished reading 1151 to 1153, it was pretty cool. I know the past few chapters have been mostly set up, but I am feeling excited by the reveals. Damn, Loki was super strong as a baby. I find it interesting how character strengths in One Piece are portrayed sometimes. Even among the Yonko, you have some who are blatantly superhuman from a young age [like Kaido], and others more human [Shanks], yet they are relative to each other. Also, I noticed something that might be a Norse Myth reference.

What fruit do you think Loki has? I'm expecting a Jörmungandr fruit since I think it was referenced in the past.

I think it is a Surtr fruit, the mythological bringer of Ragnarök and burner of all. 🙏

Yes. It is a reference to Sleipner. 🙏

This man Rocks was really doing whatever he wanted. Also potential Loki upscale due to the Harald clash.

1155 spoilers mention that xebec destroyed the justice gate
i think its talking about this, but like, has someone ever figured how large these things are? i guess 1155 will show a clearer image but ive never been able to comprehend how large its supposed to be

Also chapters peak

I'm guessing that Gang leader Marlon is a reference to Marlon Brando, who played Don Corleone in Godfather

Just read the chapter, jesus christ Xebec's stocks are going to the roof between killing an admiral (who i wouldn't be surprise if its someone connected to Akainu), meet Imu, clash with Harald and everything else.

This guy its like a strange mix between Teach and Luffy, with a brutality and cunning more akin to someone like Blackbeard while his insistence to having Harald to join his crew other to help him even when he has no logical reason remind me more of Straw Hat.

Also, i think at this point its very likely Blackbeard may trully have Conqueror Haki see how his father has it.

This incident with Rocks at the Reverie happened in the same year that Garp, Sengoku and Tsuru joined the Marines. I wonder if this incident was what inspired them to do so, which would be a nice connection for Oda to make.

Who do people think will be the final villain? Imu or Blackbeard? I'm curious because I'm currently writing a massive theory post and I'd like to hear people's reasons.

Depends... Final villain for luffy?

🤔... Not really sure, I mean... blackbeard is in the race for the op... But the op is against imu? So maybe imu makes the most sense as of now in being the final

or Oda might even introduce a new character as a role for one of the old gods

Blackbeard imo. One reason that i don't see mentioned a lot is that Oda mentioned previously in an interview that One Piece would end whenever the treasure is found which I believe would line up with Blackbeard being the final antagonist, but you can argue that this doesn't matter since Blackbeard aims to control the world not become the pirate king (And you could also argue that this contradicts this panel of Whitebeard, but he doesn't have full knowledge of what's going to happen and he doesn't mentioned the order of events directly)

Another reason is that in the last few arcs that main antagonists have been major figures from the WG and are in general the main focus of the plot currently while we still didn't focus a lot on the Blackbeard Pirates which leads me to believe the WG will be defeated first. And the recent panels of the Blackbeard pirates saying that they aim for the world and Rocks saying to Imu that he will one day return with Blackbeard being his son seem to solidify my belief that Blackbeard will be the final antagonist, this is in addition to the parallels between him and luffy and the fact that he consistently schemes and has been since his introduction.

But you never know, there's nothing stopping Oda from making it straightforward and having Imu be the final villain or even doing something like making the final fight in the series a battle royale between different major characters.

I think it may depend on whether the World Government is defeated and dissolved before or after the One Piece is found and revealed to the world. Since Blackbeard is meant to be Luffy's final pirate opponent for the title of Pirate King, it makes more sense that their final confrontation to revolve around claiming the One Piece.

So, there are two likely outcomes that i can see happening (even if details may be different):

1) The Straw Hats collect all the Road Poneglyphs while Imu and the World Government are still active and hold absolute power. They then clash with the Blackbeard Pirates—either before reaching Laugh Tale or possibly right on Laugh Tale itself. Then the One Piece is revealed to the world as the true final war for the Dawn of the World begins, with Luffy and his allies fighting against Imu and their remaining loyal forces.

2) The war for the Dawn of the World happens much earlier—perhaps triggered by the threat of drowning the world below, leading to a worldwide rebellion. Imu and the World Government are defeated, and that’s how both the Straw Hats and the Blackbeard Pirates acquire the remaining Road Poneglyphs. At this point, with the world likely devastated by the conflict, no other force besides the Straw Hats can challenge the Blackbeard Pirates. Thus, the true final clash occurs—to determine which Will of D. shall prevail to the new age.

In either cases i do think that Luffy will be the one to confront and defeat both Blackbeard and Imu, i don't see Blackbead defeating Imu, not in a direct confrontation (aka in the 2nd option Teach pull another Marineford and wait for the war for the Dawn of the World to end so that he can finish off a weakened Imu and take its power).

The only other option is like a mix between the two.

For the most part it can be like the 1st option, but with a twist—Blackbeard actually survives his fight with Luffy in Laught Tale and escape from the island, not to join the battle, but to watch from the shadows. He waits for everyone to be injured and worn down before swooping in, killing Imu, stealing their power, and becoming the final villain of the series.

Here, we might get a God Valley parallel, where Koby teams up with Luffy, showing how much stronger he’s become enough that he can actually be on the same level as them. With their combined power, they eventually defeat Blackbeard once and for all. And maybe, just like God Valley, the events are twisted in a way that the world only hears that Koby fought and defeated Blackbeard—mirroring Garp.

I think that the final confrontation on Laughtale will be like God Valley, but with a twist. In God Valley, Roger teamed up with the marines to defeat Rocks, but I feel that in Laughtale, Luffy and Blackbeard will team up to fight Imu, and then Luffy and Blackbeard initiate a Davy back fight to determine who gets to be the Pirate King

I like to think that it's gonna LOOK like Blackbeard has all the power, but Im is gonna turn the tables.

But it might be the other way around.

Either way, I legitimately think it all depends on Lafitte.
