Hello, good people.

Nobody really knows what year it is anymore, or even when they were born. Years, months, dates and calendars all ceased to mean anything the day that beings beyond mortal understanding decided to make reality, all realities, their playground.

If you're listening to this, you probably already know all of what I'm about to say. But even if you do—if something in these words sparks an emotion in you—makes you want to tear down the already broken natural order? Keep listening.

We never really figured out what they actually are, as they are beyond being in the typical sense. Many have called them Gods, but it’s a limiting, fragile term. One can only describe them as The Absolutes. Masters of Mortal & Immortal Reality, weavers of entropic devastation across countless possible worlds. They are entities wholly separated from the processes of existence, and they are perpetually bored.

The Absolutes exist in a world beyond time, where they weave the most intimate functions of all worlds like an artist projecting their deepest imagination onto a blank canvas. A single second blends into a trillion years, which blends into an infinite sequence of numbers and time that boggles the mind. Perpetually starved for entertainment, perpetually hungering for stimulation in an existence where omnipotence finds itself becoming dull, they decided to play a game. It was a game that would doom all of creation and make it evolve at the same time.

They scattered small fragments of their power throughout the firmament, twinkling down to the mortal realms like shooting stars. Spearing through the gaps in possibilities like a hot knife through butter, the writhing bits of raw omnipotence found themselves into a few chess pieces that The Absolutes picked entirely at random. It was then that a new age of the multiverse would begin to flourish, with The Absolutes pulling the strings. The mortals that these fragments found themselves in were granted what could only be described as unlimited power. Absolute authority. A singular, collective truth, granted to them by Gods who cared not to even learn the names of the people whose lives they'd changed forever. These were the first Hierarchs.

This new power? They began to call it an Axiom.

And with it, endless possibilities were open. The laws of the world, clay to be molded in skilled hands. The barest units of existence, merely numbers to be reprogrammed into a new form at the will of these new beings, these entities beyond superhuman, the Hierarchs. And with the power of The Absolutes at their fingertips, their entertainment would soon begin. For with infinite power, came infinite capacity for sin.

It was the nature of nearly all things to want to stand at the top. To want to be undisputed, unrivaled, unchallenged. In innumerable worlds, Hierarchs would begin to appear in civilizations far removed from our typical Gaian (earthly) perception. In places where geometry twisted in on itself, where physics and mathematics became greater ideological concepts far removed from meaning, yet also were reduced to mere pages in a cosmographic picture book, war was waged. War was waged in a hundred worlds, and then a thousand, and soon a million were consumed by war, and depravity. A vicious desire to stand above others, to be as Absolute as the beings that gave them the power of the indisputable Axiom, was all-consuming and irresistible.

And all the while, The Absolutes simply laughed, picking at their nails. '

And so began a new age. Realities were no longer singular, crashing into each other. Unbreakable boundaries set by the Absolutes were rent asunder by the very creations whom they had given power, as carnage took place on a multiversal scale. Meaning had no meaning. Concepts were just chess pieces on a board. All that mattered, was to become Absolute. And the true masterminds of it all, enjoyed watching every delicious moment of it from the seat of their omnipotence.

But destruction does not last forever. Eons passed as infinity waged war against infinity. Hierarchs were the least of the concern in these battles—those not so blessed by the supreme power of the Absolutes were the true victims. The true playthings. The true sufferers, unable to withstand the seemingly incalculable destructive force of the demi-gods that had been suddenly plopped into their world, forced to watch everything around them crumble into naught but atoms. It was after countless ages of fighting, that a new establishment was created. An establishment of Order.

Hierarchs, tired of the endless battle, banded together in search of what they could only hope would be a brighter future. What was now a broken fractal of words colliding with other worlds could no longer remain as such—it was the establishment of a new, singular civilization with the new power the Absolutes had given them. The establishment of peace in our time, whatever time meant anymore. And for the sake of achieving that goal, the fighting would continue on. And when it ended, when entire worlds had been bled to their last, when the Absolute beings were overjoyed with entertainment beyond measure, the War of the Hierarchs was over.

What we now call The Grand Axis had been established. A multiversal federation dedicated to repairing the damage done by the War—as well as slaying the Absolutes who still cruelly laughed down at the pathetic mortal beings and their fruitless struggle.

And time has passed since then.

Or, it didn't.

I don't really think about it anymore. Nobody cares to. With countless differing streams of time threaded into a single one, it has become impossible to tell what is a second and what is an hour. But it doesn’t matter. We’ve all gotten used to it.

At least, I have.

Sorry for making you listen to all that yap without even telling you my name and why you're hearing this when you could probably be doing anything else instead of listening to a basic history lesson.

The name's Kalrex Olto, and I'm the leader of the Deviant Hierarch Suppression Force (D.H.S.F).

At least, I am now.

Maybe I'm recording this thinking every person in the Axis is hearing it, but hey, by the time this reaches anyone's ears, I might already be gone.

If you've listened to all this, I'd wager that you're probably a Hierarch yourself. Maybe you're watching it on TV. Maybe you're hearing it during basic training. Or maybe... No. It doesn't really matter how or why you're listening to this, does it? All that matters is this, and I know that someone out there may resonate with these words.

Earth hasn't fallen. Humanity will rise again.

Come fight for us.

...

D̵e̶a̸t̴h̷ ̷T̵o̷ ̴T̷h̵e̸ ̷A̷b̷s̵o̴l̸u̷t̵e̶.̸

Welcome to the Grand Axis. Whether you were born in this new multiversal republic or found your way to it through a stream of countless worlds, it doesn't really matter. All that matter is that you're here, and you're here to enjoy all the wonders that we have to offer. The War of the Hierarchs is long over. Now, peace has been established. With all the advancements in Axis Science over the many eons, you can enjoy a world of leisure, aided by technology and powers likely beyond your understanding! You should be very, very grateful.

But if you're not grateful, you're probably here for something else. Ah, I see. You're here for military service? The D.H.S.F.? Ooooh, I see. That's a very noble service. Suppressing Deviant Hierarchs is very important to the prosperity of our GREAT Republic! I'm happy you're here to sign up. I'll direct you to all the relevant information and paperwork that you may need!

In case you're a moron who has no idea what they're doing, I'll break it down for you!

  • Axiom: Axiom is the omnipotent power granted to lesser beings by The Absolutes literally countless ages ago. It is the smallest possible fragment of omnipotence—what could barely equate to a mere skin cell for them, yet to mortal beings, it opens a door of unlimited possibilities to them. The power of an Axion can and has manifested in infinite ways. It could be exceedingly simple, yet endlessly complex. Unimaginably weak, and yet incalculably powerful. It is the most dangerous weapon ever conceived, and it has fallen into the greedy hands of mortals. Basically, this is your character's ability. Be creative.
    • Axis Energy: As the name may imply, Axis Energy is the source of power generated by an Axiom and used to power the body of its user. It is the most powerful energy source ever conceived throughout any potential world—no electricity, no machine, no force can match the infinite potential of Axis Energy. Axis Energy is utilized to power attacks, as well as to use an Axiom. Without Axis Energy, there is no Axiom. Axis Energy can be used to do a variety of things, which can be left to your imagination.

  • Hierarch: A Hierarch is the general term used to refer to somebody who wields an Axiom. They are beyond human, beyond beast, beyond the very idea of race or species. When a Hierarch gains an Axiom, they form a new identity for themselves. A new being is created, molded by the dexterous fingers of omnipotence and shaped into what can only be considered a demi-god.
    • Traits of the Hierarch: As a Hierarch holds a fragment, no matter how small it may be, of omnipotence, their parameters and traits are undoubtedly complex.
      • Enhanced Physiology: The most basic, yet in some cases most useful trait of the Hierarch is their enhanced physiology. A Hierarch is raised far beyond the conventions of their species, and reshaped into an entity with godlike physical abilities. Landmasses can be wiped off the map with a simple thought—worlds can be rent asunder with a wave of the hand—entire realities can bend to your will. But not every Hierarch wields such power, and one can find that amongst entire worlds of demi-gods, even they are insignificant to the pinnacle that lies above the pinnacle.
      • God Sense: Along with their incredible physique is the massive sensory range gifted to the Hierarch. Five, Six, Seven senses—it doesn’t matter, for it is all trivial before the Hierarch. Hierarchs are all granted a unique form of sense known as God Sense, which can twist their perception of the world in innumerable ways to aid that very same perception, breaking down the units of the world through the Hierarch’s senses. Obstacles can be simplified to their purest form to be easily avoided, movement can be traced into basic patterns to be seen through, and many more. A Hierarch’s God Sense is an invaluable asset, but it is not always active—the great sensory information it provides can at times be overwhelming, and as time went on, it became imperative to either deactivate one’s God Sense, or tone it down to a level where it would not hurt you. When a Hierarch’s God Sense is activated, it is noted by a shift in their eyes, with either a change in color or a fantastical shape manifesting in the pupils.
      • Meta-Regenerative Ability: Due to the power of the Absolutes within the Axiom granted to a Hierarch, their physical matrix has been shifted so that all physical damage is easily healed or negated. A Hierarch’s physical body is ultimately unnecessary, as they are able to reform from the fundamental aspects of their Axiom. While this may seem extraordinary, in a battlefield of other Hierarchs, who can easily damage other Hierarchs on a level which scars them both spiritually, conceptually and physically, a Hierarch can very easily become as pliable and mortal as they were before gaining their Axiom. Damage inflicted by a Hierarch, an Axiom, or anything imbued with such power is called Axis Damage, and it is capable of permanently damaging and killing a Hierarch.
        • Axis Damage: While already elaborated on, Axis Damage will be covered here. Axis Damage is any form of injury inflicted by a Hierarch, an Axiom, or anything imbued with such power. Axis Damage can damage and kill things on every layer of the firmament, and the ability to inflict it gives Hierarchs the ability to slay other Hierarchs. Hierarchs are incapable of being injured or killed by Mortal Damage, which is any form of injury inflicted by non-Hierarchs, as a mortal cannot reach the true nature of the Hierarch within their Axiom.
      • Rewriting the Hierarchy: A Hierarch is disconnected from most living beings in many ways, but remains similar in its ability to evolve at a rapid rate. A Hierarch and its Axiom are capable of rapidly evolving and developing in inexplicable ways—this process is aptly referred to as Rewriting the Hierarchy, the Hierarch’s position in the world being changed to propel them. Nobody knows what exactly causes a rewrite in a Hierarch, but most Hierarchs will, in their lifetime, experience a rewrite at least once, or maybe even several times. This serves much akin to a Level Up system for Hierarchs, allowing them to surpass themselves.

Congratulations! You now know the bare minimum you need to not be a moron, now! We will have an automated studio audience clapping sound shipped directly to your worker housing. Now...

Having shed the skin of the narrator for just a moment, if you've read up to this point, you may have a few questions. This is where I'll clear those up.

  1. What's the Premise? - The shorter version is, entities called Absolutes sent down their power to the lower realms to create demi-gods called Hierarchs. The original Hierarchs started a war called the War of the Hierarchs for supremacy over the multiverse. The destruction caused the boundaries between realities to break, making the entire multiverse a singular dimensional clusterfuck of countless worlds in one. The War of the Hierarchs is over now, and it follows you in the new order known as The Grand Axis.
  2. What's The Grand Axis? - The civilization formed after the War of the Hierarchs by the remaining Hierarchs who won the war. You can consider it the "Imperium" of this world.
  3. What are we Doing? - You are here to join the D.H.S.F (Deviant Hierarch Suppression Force), employed by The Grand Axis to suppress or eliminate Deviant Hierarchs, basically criminal Hierarchs.
  4. How do Axioms work? - An Axiom is basically just your player ability. It can be nearly anything you want, weak or strong, your imagination's the limit. This does not mean go buck wild making something idiotically broken. Be creative. Make something that exemplifies your character - I'll have an OC as well, so there'll be an example to lead on (if I make it in the next 20 years).
  5. How does Axis Energy work? - It is basically just the power source that Hierarchs use to use an Axiom and their other abilities. You can also use it to strengthen your general capabilities, and as the story progresses, you may discover new applications for it. Experiment. In game, the amount of Axis Energy you have to expend on using an Axiom or God Sense will be tabulated using a point system: you'll have at minimum 10 Axis Points, and the maximum you can have is 20 on Rwr. 0 (Rewrite 0). If you don't want to start off with 10, I'll roll a random number generator for you between 10 and 20 and give you the highest roll.
  6. How does God Sense work? - God Sense is basically a sensory boost, as described. It will give you a unique perception of the world that will aid your reactions in combat, as well as your general sensory capabilities—basically meaning you can freely decide how your God Sense will make you view the world, and how it assists you. It also makes your eyes look pretty cool when you use it. Find some cool eye designs, people.
  7. How does Meta-Regeneration work? - Meta-Regeneration basically means you're immune to any damage not caused by Axis Damage, which is any harm caused by a Hierarch, an Axiom, or anything powered by the two. You can still be hurt and feel pain, especially given your enhanced sensory abilities, but you will never die. Non Axis Damage is called Mortal Damage. Hierarchs are obviously capable of harming you through your Meta-Regeneration.
  8. How do Rewrites work? - Rewrites are basically the leveling system. You start at Rwr. 0 (Rewrite 0), and as time passes and you ascend the hierarchy, you'll gain greater strength, abilities, more Axis Points, etc. Rewriting can happen by fighting, training, discovering empowering items, etc. Some people may rewrite faster than others depending on their exploits, but generally you'll all remain within the same Rewrite level.
  9. What even is a Hierarch? - Just someone who uses an Axiom. A Hierarch is not really a species on its own—it's an entirely new type of being, that takes on an entirely new form when it gains an Axiom. Meaning, your Hierarch can look like whatever you want, really.
If I failed to cover something here, or if you need more explanation, feel free to tell me. I am always open to questions.

You're almost ready to embark on your interdimensional corporate servitude! All that's left is confirming your I.D, if you please...

Usually, for a roleplay, I'd have people make profiles akin to standard VS wiki profiles to track things like scaling and abilities. But I'm not in the mood for that slop. You're somewhere in tier 8-7, we'll roll with it as the RP goes, nobody wants to be boxed into shitty scaling. Shit'll happen. Don't worry about it. Since we're not doing profiles, you'll just make a character sheet—your character sheet won't just be a character sheet, but it'll actually serve as your I.D in the story, so you'll carry it around and use it to get into places that require specific identification. Now...

  • Name: Self-explanatory. Given the nature of the Grand Axis, you can choose whatever title or stupid bullshit you want. If it’s here, that’s what people will call you.
  • Presumed Age: Given the nature of time, most people will not know their exact age. So, their “presumed” age will go here.
  • Reality or Place of Birth: The dimension you were born in. If you were born in the Grand Axis, list that. If you were born in some other universe, list that. If you don’t think you can come up with one, you can list a planet, or a country, or a city. Up to you.
  • Former Species: As you are a Hierarch, you are no longer what you once were. So, list what you once were.
  • Assignment: Your designation, your job. What you do. If you had a designation before this, you may list it, but as you are now a member of the D.H.S.F, your official designation can be chosen from one of these...
    • Frontliner: A combatant. Typically the one who confronts Deviant Hierarchs and brings them into custody. A vital fighting force for any team.
    • Cord Cutter: An assassin, or a sniper. Someone who backs up the frontliners and eliminates specialized targets.
    • Morale Crusher: A negotiator. The one who gets information when it's needed and knows how to get into someone’s head.
    • Pain Breaker: A medic. When someone cannot heal from Axis Damage, a Pain Breaker heals them or gets them to safety. A lifeline in many groups.
    • Weaver: A mechanic, or a specialist. Someone who knows their way around tech, weaponry, and Axis Science. When you can’t just break into a place, a Weaver may be able to get you in.
  • Axiom: Your Axiom. Axioms are listed in a similar way to Hierarchs. Axiom — Hierarch of the [insert]. This is how your Axiom will typically be listed. List the capabilities and weaknesses of your Axiom in this section.
  • Equipment: This is an optional section that will not typically appear on your I.D when used for normal purposes, but in the H.S.F, it is important to keep track of your standard gear. List any noteworthy items or gear you may carry on your person here.
There is no specific appearance section, but you are free to add one and provide a description of your Hierarch should you not have any art or images for them. I don't really care where you make this character sheet, but I'll be storing them all in a google doc, lol.

Oh uh, you can also list your backstory wherever. Idc. The order of these honestly doesn't matter, they'll be se

And now, you have everything that you may need. Hopefully. Deviants are threatening the balance of our great Republic—why they do it, we don't know, and we usually don't care, most of the time. With them around, our greatest desire of all cannot be achieved. Eliminate them. Good luck.

Death to The Absolute.

In recent times, many of the games I've tried to run have failed for the simple reason that I was unable to maintain them and keep them fun. I wasn't motivated, wasn't willing. I hope this will be different, and that anyone who sees this and is interested will think of The Axiom as a fresh beginning. I will add your characters here when they are accepted.

Thank you.

  • Backstory: Experiments, experiments. Maybe Olorin Light would have been spared should any other being have found her. But thus, that was not her fate. Two terrible people, one massive war. Olorin is quiet on what happened to her, what is known however is that she gained an Axiom from an experiment being forced on her after her parents' deaths. While painful, it did succeed in forcing an Axiom into Olorin. But... Olorin was not the only being to survive that. D.R.A.E.D.O.N (Design Robotics Advancement and Engineering Data Organization Nexus), the on-board Artificial Intelligence of that laboratory, lurks in Olorin's on-hand technology, most notably her portable data center. How she came to be in D.H.S.F is that she practically walked up to their headquarters one day and asked for a job, and due to her engineering capabilities being so high, she was immediately taken in and trained on the physical level a month ago.
  • Name: Olorin Light
  • Presumed Age: 18
  • Reality or Place of Birth: A volcanic research planet called Lothon.
  • Former Species: Human
  • Assignment: Weaver
  • Axiom: Hierarch of Technology. Olorin herself isn't a powerful Hierarch, being quite weak to the point where if a combat-applicable Hierarch got their hands on her, she's either dead or a very valuable hostage. Olorin makes up for this by her incredible ability to produce and hacking ability, as well as some basic training in how to use the weapons she produces in order to defend herself, with her God Sense allowing her to see Data. However, this God Sense leaves her vulnerable due to having to concentrate translate the information and to not be affected with sensory overload. Value: Critical. 20 Axis Point base.
  • Equipment: Rocket boots, a handheld phone-like device which accesses her dimensional storage and transmits data links. several pieces of equipment that allow her to produce forcefields, and an adjustable bomb. Olorin seems to be able to make screens via her forcefields to show data and text. A pistol and a massive railgun
Peridot stands at 5'4 and is a fairly small-built individual, with one white eye outlined with black and one black eye outlined with white, and Hair that shines like silver, and is fairly pale, choosing to dress herself in a tank top and simple short-cut shorts, to allow her the most mobility for escape. Erina stands at 5'6 and is very lithe, having long dark grey hair, friendly green eyes, pale skin, and often wears black intricate armour that melds with her body with a purple tabard, simply for protection's sake.
  • Backstory: Unknown, not stated. What is known is that there are two minds in one body.
  • Name: Erina Adelthar, Peridot Moonstone
  • Presumed Age: 24
  • Reality or Place of Birth: Deep Space unnammed resource-rich world for both
  • Former Species: Human (Peridot), Mal'thorok (Erina)
  • Assignment: Pain Breaker
  • Axiom: Hierarch of Crystals. With both women's unique circumstances of sharing a body and shifting depending on who's in control and who's backseating, their abilities to heal and attack via crystals remain the same, and is very effective, with the only known weakness being that Erina and Peridot swap at random, so either can be disoriented for a moment after an inopportune switch. 16 Axis Point base.
  • Equipment: Both women always carry a phone to contact others, howver she simply uses her axiom to make weapons most of the time.

Bruh thinks I'm adding terms and conditions to the RP

If Azontr wanted a private RP he literally has at minimum 2 discord servers to make one on. Yes, there's no stipulations.
Well I'm planning to make a dicord server for the RP, so the events themselves will be private, but anyone is free to join.

“It would be much easier for both of us if I…yawn didn't need to draw my sword, alright? She doesn't like getting cleaned so often.”

Name: Lainijiwe “Lain”

Character description: a young man of asian and African descent, curly, black hair tied into a ponytail behind his head. His face is a dark chocolate, though his facial structure is more taken from his other parent. His eyes are almost always almost entirely closed, or half-lidded, giving him the appearance of being perpetually half-asleep.

Lightly muscled and toned, yet with little actual muscle mass, though his seven-foot stature makes him somewhat intimidating regardless. His voice is smooth and melodic, a deep baritone.

He usually wears plain, loosely fitting clothing of white and blue.

Standard Equipment: Two long schimtars named Shirley & Temple.

Presumed Age: 27

Place of Creation: Cothawei—a small, desert-like moon orbiting one of the imperial worlds. Grand-Axis

Former Species: Golem (non-sapient sculpture given soul and mind by an alchemist)

Assignment: Morale Crusher

Heirarch of Universal Speech.

“He is a man who speaks the language of the universe…and thus, he is loved by all of creation.”

Lain hierarchy allows him to imbue his vocal cords with a unique form axiom energy that resonates with the world around him. Through this, he can convert his vocalizations into a form of linguistic communication that can be understood by everything within earshot. Effectively, it is a universal translator of his speech. Anyone who speaks within the area in which his Axiom energy has spread can, in turn, be understood and comprehended by Lian—regardless of the complexity of the dialectic or how obscure the origin.

This is, however, only a small part of his potential. Lian is—seemingly—capable of interfacing with what he refers to as the “soul” of any inanimate object in range of his ability, allowing him to converse with them as if they were a sentient entity.

Conversing

The central application of his ability. Lian is capable of speaking with anything in range of his voice, allowing him to converse with them as If they were sentient entities. This endows him with a unique method of information gathering, and can grant him a deeper understanding of the surrounding area, and the world around him.

Non-sapient objects usually speak in basic sentences and phrases, with a worldview limited to themselves, their history, and the surrounding area. A pebble may reveal its time spent as part of a grand mountaintop, while an abandoned building may speak of its past tenants. His swords—his main conversation partners—usually act as an extra pair of eyes and ears, and regularly update him on their conditions and desires (annoyingly so, occasionally)

Animals and insects usually have a more complete world view, but their responses tend to be clouded morso by their natural instincts and personal desires.

Animation

A secondary application of his ability. Lian can beseech the aid of anything in his surrounding area—be it the rocks on the ground, the walls of a building, or even the weapons of an enemy hierarch—through simple, verbal commands. Entities that accept his command will move on his behalf—even performing seemingly supernatural feats such as levitating into the air, or bending in ways the material would otherwise be incapable of. In simple terms, Lian can manipulate the world around him through word of mouth.

LIMITATIONS

Despite the seemingly limitless applications of this hierarchy, it has a significant drawback—anything he speaks too can reject his request, and even refuse to converse with him at all. A basic guideline to this is as follows.

Objects that Lian has a personal connection to, or has owned for a significant length of time, will ALWAYS follow his commands, and will go above and beyond go fulfill them—even to their detriment. An example of this is his twin swords.

Objects that are “neutral” such as those with little emotional connections or ownership will almost always obey simple commands, especially if it fits with what the object is naturally inclined to do (asking a breeze to intensify is easier than asking still air to move, for example). An example of this is most geogical structures, long abandoned objects, etc.

Objects that are “hostile” towards Lian, be it because they are owned by a direct enemy, or carry a personal grudge towards him, will often resist any form of manipulation or conversation. Example of this include an enemy hiearchs ship, or a tree he has recently chopped apart.

Animals follow a similar formula, but are by their nature much more difficult to command.

Animation is unable to affect the minds of higher life forms.

Cool.

Do you want to start off with base 10 AP, or do you want me to roll.

Asking this before I go with my first concept: Would an artificial lifeform (glorified lab experiment) still work for the concept, or were only organic creatures made hierarchs?

(Edit: Just saw Midas' character after posting this, which I think answers my question, but feel free to give your input anyways if ya feel like it.)

I discussed it with Azontr over DMs, and the main prerequisite to being able to receive an axiom is having a soul for it to bind to.

Hence why I specified my character was a golem explicitly infused with one.

Basically what Midas said. So long as it can be considered a 'being' and not just an inanimate object or soulless blob, then it can become a Hierarch. Hence why creatures across the multiverse that are made of shit like rocks, or clouds, or other inorganic stuff can be Hierarchs since they still are a species and have a soul.

Hope I didn't miss anything. Roll my AP pwease

Beginnings
A Hierarch on Death's Door can give in to the most primitive of urges to keep itself alive...

Hierarchs can die.

The legitimacy of assertion is so blatant, so conspicuous, that one may imagine the assertor as a grain of sand mortal having an epiphany about the perishable nature of a Hierarch. What is plainly unattainable to a mortal is a commonplace maxim to Hierarchs. An ant to a God. But alas,

Hierarchs can die.

It is the superlative form of life cessation. Throughout the innumerable macrocosms, there is no shortage of Hierarchs fashioning their Axioms after the likeness of Death. These types especially rose to excess in the War of the Hierarchs. After all, infinite battles is infinite bodies, thus infinite death. Accordingly and in reaction, the measure of Hierarchs molding their Axioms after Life magnified equally. Death cannot be without life. A universal axiom.

Hierarchs can die.

Some Hierarchs are harder to eliminate than others. Hierarchs of Life, of Courage, of Growth, are notoriously harder to kill than other Hierarchs, among a myriad of other Hierarchs absent from mention. This effective "indestructibleness" is, evidently, attributable to their unique death-defying methods. The ability to overcome all obstacles through evolution. The might to persist in spite of opposition. Yet, when faced with death, Hierarchs are no longer a demi-god commanding fathomless power. It will thrash, it will howl, and it will do anything elude the grasp of death.

How could a Hierarch of Love defy death?

It came as a shooting star

Documenter: The recorder is on? Giddy.

The documenter settles in a chair.

Documenter: Donatus Amor is a Grand Axis refugee following the complete, irreversible eradication of the being's original reality by an unknown Hierarch during the War of the Hierarchs. At the Hierarch's request, Donatus Amor was given military employment and subsequently enlisted into the Deviant Hierarch Suppression Force, acronym D.H.S.F. As per standard protocols, I will be reading the holistic military assessment of Donatus Amor.

The documenter flips a page.

Documenter: Donatus Amor presents as an 18-year-old Homosapien male with deeply pigmentated skin, originating from a supposed Earth-like planet preceding complete annihilation of the being's native universe and surrounding multiverses. Donatus Amor stands at 183 centimeters and possesses black hair with strands of white and red eyes. The Hierarch has an ecto-mesomorph somatotype, with a 24.5 BMI, 84 centimeter waist circumference, 0.85 Waist-to-Hip Ratio, 12% body fat, O minus blood type, and a DEXA Lean Mass percentage of 78 percent, Fat Mass of 13 percent, and Visceral Fat of 0.2 kilograms. Donatus Amor's usual disposition is placid. The Hierarch is non-confrontational, reclusive, and shy. Despite this, the Hierarch is is easily conversable and works adequately well with other beings.

The documenter drinks from a cup of water.

Documenter: Donatus Amor's Axiom, Love, is self-evidently the control of the emotion "Love," including the metaphysical and conceptual nature of "Love." The Axiom's applicability is shaped by Donatus Amor's own conception and the universal conception of other beings. Previously, the Axiom Ability Assessment Hallmark initially classified the Hierarch's Axiom as "The Heart," but further evaluations verified the Axiom as "Love." Do not refer to his Axiom as the former classification. As with all Axioms, the applications of "Love" are effectually infinite, but Donatus Amor has expressly chosen to activate his Axiom in an assortment of ways.

The documenter adjusts in the provided seat.

Documenter: In most cases, once the Hierarch activates the Axiom on a target existent, the being can generally experience any range of strong and or positive emotional and mental states. Depending on the intensity, this can encompass simple gratification, to overall satisfaction, to eliciting a strong pleasure resembling opioids. In resonance, the existent's heart will start to beat strongly, accelerating in relation to the intensity of the Axiom. If the existent has multiple hearts, each one will beat in unison. If the existent has no heart, the existent will feel a rhythmic beating in the center of their being. The accelerated beating triggers remarkable healing properties. The speed of affected existent's hemodynamics will increase multitudes of times over, restoring connective, muscle, nervous, and epithelial tissue nigh-instantly. In the case of the Axiom being used on another Hierarch, the receiving Hierarch's Meta-Regeneration and Axis Energy will experience similar effects, thereby healing Axis Damage.

The documenter stops

Documenter: Donatus Amor can also influence the relationship between two or more beings, including himself and another.

The documenter flips a page.

Documenter: Using God Sense, Donatus Amor can perceive the incorporeal "emotional attachments" between existents, in addition to the general temperament of said existents. The appearance of Donatus Amor's eyes transform into the shape of an anatomically correct heart, but occasionally can manifest as an ideographic heart. This alteration in eye shape is entirely visual and has no effect on the Hierarch's vision.

The documenter looks at the sheaf of papers once over, then sets it aside

Documenter: That is the complete assessment of Donatus Amor. The recording will turn off in 3 seconds. Have a nice day.

Notes:
*
Yup, that's the best I can describe him. I already have images for him, but Imgur refuses to upload them for some reason. I'll try adding them later.
** Alias given by others. He claimed to have forgotten his real name and that people can call him whatever they want. I'll be referring to him as "Fell" for the sake of convenience.
*** Placeholder name. It may not reflect the true nature of his abilities due to the many unknowns surrounding them.

Freikugeln

"I shall feel the ponderous mass of the gun barrel rest upon my viscera. Let this accursed bullet pierce through them."

One of the things the Fell Bullet is famous for is his marksmanship. While phenomenal enough on its own, his kill count wouldn't be nearly as impressive without the use of the so-called "Magic Bullets". The shooter can manifest a red magic circle in front of the muzzle of his rifle, causing fired bullets to be enchanted. These bullets can seemingly penetrate anything, from the most durable materials to the toughest enemies. Like bullets fired in a void, they ignore all external forces that can possibly slow them down or influence their trajectory and travel infinitely in a straight line until they kill someone or something. Though more than 6 of these bullets can apparently be created at a time, Fell will always refuse to produce new ones until "the clock has struck six thrice" for unknown reasons.

Rotes Kreuz

"Agony and rage mixed, blending in the mist. One couldn’t determine if the smoke was responsible for the madness, or if the cries of agony spewed forth the smoke."

A malicious atmosphere accompanies the shooter everywhere he goes, formed from the blood of those who have fallen under his hands. Fell can transform any blood he's touching or the blood of anything he has killed (without needing to touch it) into a thick red smoke. The smoke can erase all sounds, block light from passing through it, and interfere with microwaves, radio frequencies, radiation, and even certain types of God Sense. Anyone enveloped by the mist cannot see or hear their surroundings and can only smell blood, rendering them effectively blind and deaf. It also offers some resistance (imagine you're underwater but can't float), which can make it difficult to keep track of your position due to sensory deprivation.

While having no harmful biological effects, staying within the mist for an extended amount of time can corrode one's mind, causing fear and insanity. Victims of the smoke often enter a state of panic and experience intense hallucinations, resulting in unpredictable behaviours such as attacking anyone they see, committing suicide, wandering aimlessly while screaming, or falling unconscious. Fell is able to perfectly navigate the smoke and is immune to its mental corrosion, allowing him to freely move through and remain inside it. He can also make it vanish at will; otherwise, it will naturally disappear after 6 minutes.

Augen des Raubtiers

The soldier's God Sense allows him to pinpoint the location of his fired Magic Bullets and the bloodsmoke he has created. For the bullets, he's able to see through them like viewing cameras, even when they're no longer moving. With the red mist, he's able to detect anything within it. Additionally, his eyes function like a scope, letting him zoom into the distance up to 6 times. A glowing red circle covers each of Fell's irises while his God Sense is active.

Since your abilities are a wee strong, I think it's fair if I start you off with baseline 10 AP.

Eh, fine by me. The primary weakness of his abilities is the sheer collateral damage they may cause which is why I made their range kind of large.

We now have 5 people, which is usually the point where I would start an RP. However, I haven't made the dicord server yet (forgor), and 2 other guys are making characters, so it won't start until all that's finished (or I lose patience waiting for the other 2 and just start without them).

Roll the AP, if you wouldn't mind.

"It was peaceful living amongst creation.

Now I am forced to become something more.

I miss it all.

The simplicity of being many.

No thought to call my own.

I hate this weight of consciousness.

And yet I have the urge to go on.

To experience this new life breathed into me."

Basid, as others have come to refer to it as, was a simple fungus growing on an Earth-equivalent planet where floral life was able to grow exponentially larger and live far longer. This lead to it living for thousands of years, continually growing in size underneath the soil of a large forest. However, a small, disconnected patch of it was gifted an axiom, and thus, gained sentience, cut off from its previous, hive mind; and thus, it was thrust into a new world that it was unprepared and unwanted in.

Traveling the world, it encountered many different lifeforms, though none interested it as much as humans. They were the only ones that seems to be as sentient as it, and so it relished infecting and learning about them whenever it got the chance. But, after a few years, even that got boring. What was the point of this new life if not to experience as much as possible?

Perhaps this new "agency", whatever that was, would offer more excitement and meaning.

Name: Inapplicable, sometimes called "Basid"

Appearance: Currently 165 cm tall Native American female, long brown hair, and slightly glowing, lifeless yellow eyes; skin appears slightly rotten and grayed. Small chunks of flesh are seemingly torn away, with root-like growths protruding out and covering some of the exposed area. Wears torn and ragged traditional clothes,

Presumed Age: Technically thousands, but effectively 4 years old

Reality or Place of Birth: Alternate Version of Earth

Former Species: Fungus

Assignment: Frontliner

Infection Perfection

As the name suggests, the Axiom gifted to the entity (will be referred to as "Basid" for convenience) allows him to infect other beings with a fungal based virus, mostly done through touching itself or another already contaminated item/place. This infection can work on organic and non-organic life, to differing degrees of success. The infection spreads extremely quickly and deeply, allowing it to completely encompass one's very metaphysical being extremely quickly if not properly treated or released.

This infection works in stages, with the 1st stage occurring almost immediately after exposure and contamination. If the target has a mind, it will begin experiencing the effects of a total take over of the mind and senses, leaving them mostly paralyzed and debilitated. This stage can last anywhere from seconds to minutes for stronger willed beings, but will eventually break them. Stage two begins when the body is fully taken over by infection, the bio-matter can be shaped and molded as Basid pleases, whether that be creating tendrils to burst out of the body, puppeteering against their will, or simply exploding into a visceral mass, further spreading infection to nearby areas. It also allows it to create weapons and constructs from this matter, including its main host, and patch up almost all physical injuries sustained onto its current host. This applies to dead and non-sentient matter as well, such as plants, animals, and corpses, though at a far faster rate, as there is no "will" to overcome.

As previously mentioned, the infection can also work on non-organic life, such as rock or steel, but takes far longer to be fully consumed due to not being of living origin, reaching up to hours for extremely hard materials.

One of a Kind

The final stage of infection is perhaps the most gruesome and time consuming, and thus rare to actually occur. Upon reaching this stage, the targets very being and essence are fully absorbed into Basid, becoming fully corrupted and irreversibly destroyed of their individuality. "They" are still their, but only as a piece of itself; likely an attempt to recreate its original hive mind it had lost. This allows for secret and complete control, with the individual possible not even knowing they were infected in the first place.

Additionally, as a result, whenever the main host body of Basid is destroyed or rendered otherwise useless, its consciousness can be extended over and use another infected being, making it essentially immortal to most means. This infection also allows Basid to gain the memories and information gained by the infected individual, giving it experiences and skills it would otherwise not have in an instant.

It should be noted that this takes some time and is rather inconvenient for Basid, as it requires almost full concentration on infection, versus other stages, which are passive upon being contaminated with its fungus.

Mutated Strain

Whenever an infected host is exposed to a brand new element, the fungal virus within will quickly begin mutating and evolving in order to counter and surpass the foreign stimuli. This can be anything from a hostile environment, forms of energy, or even types of attacks. However, the process can take a while, and thus often won't finish in the heat of battle; the new strain of virus will also almost always die out after a few days of non-exposure to the thing it adapted for, as continuing to reproduce it would simply be a "waste of energy" in the eye of Basid.

NOTE: An unusual and often dangerous weakness it has is....fire. Any sort, really. When an infected being lit ablaze, the fungi inside will do everything in its power to escape from it, going so far as to abandon it entirely. This can result in the infection being fully healed and reversed outside of the final stages. It doesn't seem to do all that much damage, but does have some sort of mental trauma associated with it. Perhaps dating back to some primal memories of forests and landscapes being caught up and destroyed by infernos throughout its previous "life"? Who knows. But, if it were to go too far, such a deterrent would be warranted and useful.
