I didn't understand this part, Maul is more skilled in duels with melee weapons from what I see. In Guts' profile there doesn't seem to be anything similar to Maul's.

Guts vs Maul - Rematch

Can Maul go 1v800 against man-eating apostle monsters while bleeding out, slowly dying, and only having a single arm and a normal sword? The answer is no. Maul also can't fight a hundred tactical geniuses and assassins in the dark while bleeding out.
I can wank Star Wars skill to kingdom come, but it's primarily precision, Guts outclassed Maul effortlessly in raw ability and skill.

The first part depends on the character's stats, if everyone is as strong and fast as Guts then I think it's a matter of skill, the second part is more about superhuman will and resistance to injury than pure skill.
I mean, it's not just a matter of precision, since the instinctive reaction helps children block blasters. Besides, Maul has an increase in perception with this that would allow him to see Guts in slow motion since equalized speed, not to mention the things that would help him like telepathy, precognition, etc.

...Yeah, they were all SUPERIOR to Guts. And he didn't have no Dragon Slayer to make it so that they both tear eachother to bits.
It doesn't help enough, espeically with SW precog and IA being what it is, a sword fight ends on way and it's not in Maul's favor.

Yujiro also doesn't have a calculation for the temperature/heat of the lightning he tanked, he doesn't even have resistance to it, so what does it matter?

Yeah, because he scales to the full heat of the lightning. So does Guts.
Good to know the lightsaber doesn't cut through lightning heat resistance then, since even assuming force lightning was real lightning, basically nobody tanks it while not on the ground, and are frequently temporarily incapped by it.

The comments on the Mace Windu calc say that Force Lightning being real lightning comes from canon novels and was already accepted at a time period before the forum move (there's a dead VSBW discussion thread link)

I don't even know why you're using Yujiro when his calculations don't have temperature/heat and the guy doesn't even have heat resistance in his profile.
Because, let me see, even if Jedis are incapacitated, they don't get roasted or badly burned by the rays, however the lightsaber cuts through them like butter.

Are you talking about Sidius from episode 9? His Force lightning has been enhanced many times over to the point where it can destroy a fleet.
Normal Force lighting incapacitates Jedi but doesn't roast them like bread.

There's this one fight where Savage Opress and Asajj Ventress are fighting Count Dooku and the former gets sprayed with Force Lightning a hilarious amount of times without going down. There's a threshold of characters who scale to it, and Maul, being much more powerful than the version of himself superior to his brother, is definitely there

Seriously, this argument falls to pieces because the moment you look into matters, one of these individuals has jack shit for lightning resistance and was screaming and sobbing on the ground the instant he was hit by a casual version of it.

And Guts withstands full contact with lightning while he is in PLATE ARMOUR without even showing signs of pain. I wonder who scales.

I did say 50% of the time, since from what I've researched Vader has a 50/50 split in terms of getting cut through by lightsabers compared to tanking the shit with ease.

If you want to compare lightning to lightning, Force lightning that is accepted as real lightning doesn't roast Jedi, but lightsabers cut through them like butter.
Force Shield is an ability that is actively used, usually by raising your hands.
Where do you get the idea that in all the scenes where Jedis resist the heat aspect of lightning, they are somehow using Force Shield?
