Jurassic World/Park General Discussion Thread

Just got back from watching Rebirth.

The Distortus Rex was able to grab a helicopter out of the air and throw it hard enough to make it explode. It also seemed easily distracted by flares. With how massive it looked in certain shots, I feel like either the official stats are lowballing its size, or its size is just inconsistently portrayed.

The Mutadons should be able to scale above Velociraptors, being able to defeat them pretty quickly.

Probably the former. There were scenes in the movie where the T Rex looked like 40ft tall and the Titanosaurus looked like 50m tall. In other shots it looks closer to its canon size.

That sounds like a crazy feat in terms of both strength and potentially speed.

So interestingly, I guess the junior novel for Dominion has Alan Grant crush a giant locust with a stomp:

I'll just share this info about it. It's an Indominus feat. Indo has 4 or 5 9-A feats in the movie. It'll be an upgrade.
What else is even left? Maybe you can get a decent LS calc off of her ripping the metal beams off of that zip line tower, not to mention pulling on it so hard that it actually tilts off it's back legs pretty noticeably at one point.

They're all from the first movie lol. I forgot Indo is in the cartoons too tho. Is that where the zip line tower feat is from? If so, send it my way, that does sound like a good LS feat (The one I already have getting cooked up should be Class K range)

You’re not wrong about Indom being the best JW dino lmao. Or at least in terms of hybrid/mutants imo
Yeah, it's my personal favorite. I know a lotta people don't like the first movie but I don't mind being a contrarian.
I'm pretty sure that Camp Cretaceous has plenty of good feats that could be calculated.
What are some noteworthy ones?
