They do use some of the calcs and abilities here but they "value more this site" I really can't get behind when the stats they give the characters are not the same as the one we use for the Pages for the most part.

Lol dude it feels like you're trolling at this point. All of what you say boils down to "erhm feats superior and i erhm i feel like so-and-so about this-and-that". It's just your own fee-fees about the matter. Like, it's fine to just feel like that. That doesn't make you objectively correct, though. Especially when official and in-verse statements say otherwise. Doesn't matter if there's no real feats for it. They aren't the be-all, end-all. Base characters have been showing some cracked energy these days anyway. Already have two people who beat Super-tier characters in base, so it isn't that rare anymore.

Such a shame we never got anything closed to what Solaris can do on screen with anyone afterwards.

Not someone who believes that Solaris soloes the verse (although he is still held in high regards factually alongside Dark Gaja going by frontiers). But it’s hard to argue otherwise when the only other villain close to what Solaris could do is the time eater, and he was pretty much a joke super boss.

Solaris vs bosses THESE days is just not it. The only thing Solaris has to his name and can claim is being harder to kill due to temporal omnipresence. He uses cockroaching strats, but he is not beating Dark Gaia, is not beating the Time Eater, is not beating the Titans, and is DEFINITELY not beating The End.
 
Gentlemen... it's been a while (partially because lolnonotifs).

Sonic Question Time: If you had to fundamentally change one character in the Modern Era to signify their character growth, who would it be? (This can be small or simple changes; appearance, personality, powers, etc.)

My choice would be Amy, and it would be to fully tap into her mysticism to do things like;
  • Summon a 2nd Piko Piko Hammer for dual wielding, and enable her to manipulate it's shape and features (something like, say, granting it a pointed edge rather than a blunt end).
  • Grant her low-level precognition that allows her to get brief glimpses of an enemy's oncoming attacks (for example, seeing a hollow sparkly-pink outline of the foe 's next moves).
  • More of the shit we saw revolving around her cards in general during Frontiers (Hovering and that unique Boost in particular were... cool ig).
Anand yeah that's about it. Could list more but eh, I say that's enough.

A little related, but I'm curious why base forms aren't seen as scaling to Solaris, on the wiki. If not now, I assume that time is coming closer.

A lot of characters function a lot like Sonic, so I'd maybe make one of them more diverse. Knuckles, maybe.

Circular scaling, super forms don’t really grow with time so base Sonic would be scaling to his full power super form.

I'm thinking either Knuckles or Silver. Both could use some shine.

For Knuckles:
Delving into Knuckles' cool treasure-hunter personality would be pretty cool as well diving secrets of Angel Island that could even relate to the Ancients in some way. Maybe touch more upon him being the literal guardian of the Master Emerald (of course without making him too busted), and maybe giving him more to do with the cool elemental powers he has.

For Silver:
We basically know nothing about Silver's future aside from it always being in danger and seeing SOME snippets of it. I'd LOVE a story with Silver is the main character and exploring his futuristic world. We also don't know too much about how psychic powers other than him having them. Would be cool to see them touched upon to a level of how Shadow got his Doom Powers.

Cuz it's viewed as "ridiculous" due to the level of power Solaris has shown and the tell-don't-show power levels of the bosses afterward. I understand that too, but 06 is truly a bygone era and people need to move on. Clinging to the past as if bosses couldn't be stronger now, even if they are literally stated to be. Sure, it doesn't have the same spectacle of 06, but it doesn't make those statements untrue.

They seem to be native to Sonic's Earth as well when we consider the 2 or so appearances of one in the backgrounds of IDW Comics.

Granted, Dodon Pa could simply be Earth-born and have migrated to outer space via technology.
 

I like how they put the ESRB marking here as if most of these games are even available in this decade
