Remember how I said the Toei Spider-Man thread was probably gonna be my last revision? Well, Marvel content in general likes to keep pulling me back here, so I MIGHT have a few more in me
Right now, FOX Deadpool and MCU Wolverine have keys that put them at Low 7-C, MHS+, and Class M. This is all because of Deadpool killing TVA Agents, who supposedly scale to Loki. Unfortunately, that really just isn't the case and I've got a lot of evidence that makes it pretty clear cut that the TVA Agents aren't Loki level at all
-Loki was captured primarily through hax. We see here that when hit with the Time Stick, his movement is slowed down dramatically so the collar can be placed on him. Its clear that this was a requirement or else they wouldn't have ever been able to physically contain him
-Loki was depowered, which is literally the entire reason he doesn't just escape in episode 1. We also know that his magic not working isn't limited to just his abilities. When Thor was depowered in his first MCU film debut, he was significantly depowered to the level of SHIELD Agents, basically. Later on, we see Thor being weakened by dark energy, dropping down to Avenger Hulk level. This even worse in Loki's case since he's already much weaker than Thor
-TVA Agents consistently get stomped by Loki tier opponents who aren't depowered. You could even argue its a bit worse since child Sylvie harmed a full grown Minuteman
-While Royal Guard Minutemen do a bit better against Loki himself, you have to remember, these are the Royal Guard Minutemen who solely protect the Time-Keepers. Seems disingenuous to assume regular Minutemen are on their level. Especially considering we see them two-tapped one of the regular Minutemen. Its made clear the Minutemen we see in D&W, while upgraded, and certainly just better versions of the standard Minutemen soldiers. Additionally, the best the Royal Guard Minutemen ever do against Loki is land a single slash and a kick, both of which he doesn't take much harm from, plus he only took those attacks because he was waiting to get knives from Sylvie. Either way, this entire exchange proves the standard Minutemen, and their upgraded variants in D&W, aren't on Loki's level
-The director of Loki himself has confirmed his powers were being held back
-A TVA soldier is seen being pressured by illusions made by Loki. Keep in mind, the soldier had no idea this was Loki, with said illusions being that of regular humans. Wouldn't make much sense for a soldier thats seemingly on the level of Loki to get scared of regular humans
-Marvel's official site tells us that Loki was depowered
So yeah, Deadpool wouldn't scale to anything Loki related, and hence, Wolverine wouldn't either
So where do they scale?
In the first Deadpool film, Wade survives this explosion (the calc was approved btw) while severely injured and depraved of oxygen. So given how he can fight/harm Ajax and Cable, characters who can harm him, the physicals of Deadpool and Wolverine being "At least Small Building level" seems very fair to me. Of course, this is a rather simple tier change for those who scale directly to "Deadpool tiers" or whatever we're calling them. Also, Old Man Logan, X-23, and X-24 should have their Adamantium claws scale to this level since FOX Logan's decayed Adamantium bones could still pierce Deadpool. Pretty impressive for a literal corpse
For speed, we currently have FOX Pyro scaling to FOX Human Torch for reacting to the latter's attack. Logan could casually tag Pyro, and Deadpool fights with Wolverine in the film enough times to prove he's as fast as him, so using Human Torch's value, we can put these two at Massively Hypersonic for their combat speed and reactions
Regarding LS, this statement from the D&W script actually would give us an LS value for Wolverine, and Deadpool by extension of scaling. We actually already have a calc for a very similar statement, which came out at Class K. This one's a bit more impactful on the FOX Universe since guys like Post-Retcon Colossus and Juggernaut would upscale Deadpool SIGNIFICANTLY
However, there's still the matter of Adamantium scaling for Wolverine's claws and Deadpool's Adamantium katanas provided by the TVA. In D&W, Logan was able to one-shot Sabretooth, who was stated to be the same one from the FOX films, just like Pyro (his status as the real one, along with Johnny as the real FOX Human Torch was accepted in another thread btw).
The evidence for this comes from the film's artbook, which states:
"TYLER MANE’s SABRETOOTH, Wolverine’s natural enemy, leapsdown from a truck like a feral beast."
So, scaling the Adamantium Claws and Adamantium Katanas to Multi-City Block level+ seems fair here as well
So yeah. Ultimately this revision would involve removing Deadpool's second key and just having one, downgrading both him and D&W Wolverine's AP + Speed + LS, and upgrading a few other FOX characters based on Deadpool's new Class K value
Thoughts?
