There’s nothing to explain. He’s got 0 scaling above the numbers above him. He’s just got big boom booms and is a fan favorite character. So he’s not only prevalent to bias, but extra so in power scaling.

Is Yammy's number shifting exclusive to him though? If it isn't, then Ulquiorra's number not shifting in Segunda Etapa could disprove him being stronger than the one's above him, yeah?

Phoenix man's phoenix space, it's accepted as a mental plane as far as i know. But it's stated by him that this alternate space's purpose is to meet gods and spirits(霊 which means souls/spirits/ghost etc). Phoenix man also says inside the costume is connected to 異界 which means Spirit World...

Chad's and Orihime's fights in the first arc were skipped entirely and they're important for their characters! It ain't nothing new, these cutscenes can get scuffed as hell when they aren't getting the big focus moments.

Sure, I’m not contesting that. However, at least Chad and Orihime are prevalent in the game. I know things will be abridged due to compacting so much in the game. But there’s abridging characterization and there’s just erasing major character’s entire existences
