Is this an example of logical negations?

You have to opposing powers in verse

  • It's called "Agyo" and "UnAgyo" (that's literally their names)
  • One is called Yang energy and the other is called Yin energy
  • One is light and the other is darkness
  • One is life/birth the other is death
  • One is creation the other is destruction

When the 2 opposing powers clash they are equal and neither over powers the other and this creates a cycle of Samsara

Alternatively, the verse does have statements that "If one exist the opposite must also be true"

And another statements flat out says everything in existence participates in a duality.

Probably... And also recover the condition to at least 2-C, haha (Just kidding)

Hello, by the way, I think this is my first post on this VS forum.

No, logical negation mean both opposing sides must negate each other, hence the term negation, 2 opposing powers just equal potency and similar isn't make them negation of each other, of course it could be duality if there is supporting context behind it, however stand alone it doesn't mean much, you could even have two opposing energies that negate each other and yet they not even a duality

Alternatively, the verse does have statements that "If one exist the opposite must also be true"
This alone seriously mean nothing

I mean, by default we always assume that everything participating in a duality, because if something is not then it is nonduality, unless a verse goes out of it way to prove the concept of duality do not exist in the verse

What context is needed to prove logical negations?

Edit; sorry for nor being clear with the question but what are sime good examples that are simple

Edit 2; how can I prove it's dualities with context without logical negation?

I mean, it is already in my reply, as long as you can prove both powers being opposite and can negate, neutralize, nullify each others, that is good to go

Aside from being directly mentioned as duality, there are no simple example, except verse with existence and nonexistence, since by default those two is a duality, other needed to be prove to be logical negation or being mentioned as logical negation, such as A and non-A, B and non-B, etc..., pretty hard to find, except Chinese verses

I'm afraid that no you can't, either you can prove logical negation or being directly stated to be logical negation or duality, the only exception is existence and nonexistence which by default is a duality, and in nonexistence case you can replace it with being void, nothingness, erased state; and you obviously don't need to prove something is existing, since by default everything is existing unless proven otherwise

If a verse states all duality is contained and exist on the multiverse and in Samsara and there is character that ate beyond those 2 things. They can scale to TD/ND without needing to prove logical negations since the word duality is name dropped?

Hmm, actually, no, we need to evaluate case by case, cause a character simply beyond a realm with duality doesn't make said character outside and not participating in the dual system, it need to be evaluated

I'm not really see logical negation here, these seems opposites in verse and they are not necessarily logical negations.

According to this passage if the ND/TD page classical dualities (opposing forces nit logical negations) are allowed. Am I understanding that correctly?

"For this ability, dualities refer to logical dualities where the duality is between "A" and "not A" where A is some object or attribute. For example, fire and water are not a duality; the duality of fire would be fire and not fire. The duality of existence would be existence and not existence, or, alternately, existence and nonexistence or existence and void. However, not all verses follow this logic, and many may treat things not logically considered dualities - such as water and fire or time and space - as dualities, meaning what is and isn't a duality can change between verses. Due to nonduality's nature as an abstract power, qualifying for it requires a verse to directly explain the way they treat a power in a way that aligns with the standards outlined below; merely demonstrating qualities matching those of a nondual character doesn't automatically qualify a character for it."

that is if the verse itself go out of it way to showcase duality in verse of course

If logic is part of laws ,would operating on a different framework of laws grant nonduality
If there is life and death ,were the verse directly states that life is a state of "living" and death is the negation of life as in "not living" and death and life cant exist at the same time because they cancel each other out but then things such as water, air, stones etc are neither alive nor dead ,does this qualify as duality of alive and not alive or not?

From the information I have. It looks like your overcomplicating.

You need an explanation of say rock vs air, then be shown how the 2 cannot be simultaneously true (basically existing at the same time)

So basically a statement saying or implying "they are a duality" followed by " both cannot true at the same time/both cannot exist on the same setting"

what logic??, also operating on different framework of laws just mean different logic, not nonduality

need more contexts on this, negation of life as in what sense, that is the problem. This do make life and death a duality, but i need to be sure, the negation part is the core issue, cause death by itself is not living already

@Vietthai96 life is positive energy then there is an ability that kills living things by manifesting negative energy which neutralizes and cancels out the positive energy
The abilitys main essence is the manipulation of death

When the area within which the Pure White World is constructed is filled with life energy,
which is a positive energy, the phenomenon occurs by interfering with the Voids, which
are negative energy materialized, canceling them out and annihilating them.
Therefore,
if you expand your power over a wide area, a massacre will occur against all living things
That said, it would be difficult to make effective use of the Pure White World and the
Nihilistic World in battle against the strong. As mentioned above, the Voids would
automatically cancel out the living,
so if you didn't subtract life to some extent
beforehand, the effective range would narrow down
