1.54 Megatons+ (Optimus) vs up to 53.5 Gigatons with unibeam (Iron Man). Hell, with charged repulsors, Iron Man can output 13.47 megatons. This is a 8.74x difference in AP to Dura ratio.
This can be a oneshot. Not only that, Iron Man is a small target for Optimus to hit. And he can fly as well. So he can go all around him and just spam lasers.

I'll update it to remove his 7-B lasers then

Iron Man still wins because, unsurprisingly, he can fly and spam repulsors. Optimus is a big target, Iron Man is a small target. Even if they trade shots, Iron Man will eventually win.

Optimus does have his Ion Blaster and Barrage Cannons which will help him with long range. Also, Optimus has been shown in the movies to be agile.

Gonna be hard to hit a smaller target compared to what he's used to. Iron Man is just as agile as he is.

Don't forget that Optimus has decent regen and immortality type 2 as well as being the more skilled fighter of the two of them here. Also, if Optimus really starts getting cooked beyond what he can handle, what's stopping him from just scanning Iron Man and copying his suit as a new alt-form or at least getting the ability to fly?

Does Prime even start with it in direct combat? From what I remember in most Bayverse movies, at most he preferred to stay in his normal form than apply that strategy.

Hence why the second half of my post said "If he's getting cooked beyond what he can handle".

Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist FRA. I also see nothing stopping Tony from hacking into Optimus with Jarvis or analyzing his entire fighting style to counter him.
