Yu Yu Hakusho Ability Additions

Just finished reading the yyh manga and this is some small stuff that I thought could be added that were missing. (Not 100% sure on all this stuff but we’ll see)

Genereal Additions:
- Resistance to Poison Manipulation: The demon plane has a naturally poisonous atmosphere making it unsuitable for humans, though human’s who have awakened spirit energy are able to survive in the demon plane. (I’m not sure if this would extend to humans who have awakened demon energy)

Demon Additions:
- Unholy Manipulation: The barrier between the worlds is meant to block evil, Sensui states holy chi has trouble harmonizing with the demon plane, Koenma’s pacifier is noted to be especially effective against demons, and the black dragons flames are called unholy.

Kuwabara Additions:
- Telekinesis: Can move his sword around.

Kurama:
- Danmaku: Flower Petals
- Electricity Manipulations: Via Rose Whip

Hiei:
- Summoning: The black dragon is summoned from the demon plan.

Younger Tugruo:
- Absorption: Can absorb the souls of weak people.
- Sound Manipulation: Was able to disperse a spirit gun with his cry.

Sensui:
- Instinctive Reaction: Honed his instincts to automatically kick in.
- Holy manipulation: Sensui posses sacred energy which is referred to as holy multiple time. While possessing it he’s been shown to be able to bypass the forcefield to the demon plane which blocks all evil and Sensui states that holy chi harmonizes with nature but while in the demon plane harmony is tricky.
- Resistance to sealing: Holy chi was shown to be unaffected by Koenma’s pacifier and was stated to not be capable of being sealed.

By Toguro's own words, isn't his specific Demon power the ability to control his muscle/strength percentage?

So wouldn't the soul absorption be a Youki general ability then? Meaning Hiei, Kurama and Yusuke qualify for it? Because Gouki also devoured souls.

Besides that, I remember Toguro couldn't absorb Yusuke's soul. That's why I thought he'd get soul MP resistance.

That's because Yusuke wasn't massively weaker than Toguro.

When he was absorbing souls, Chu, Jin and Rinku were all feeling super nauseous and had to unleash more Reiki into their bodies to stay alive.

So Yusuke should have Soul resistance and also should have the possibility to corrode souls himself by chapter black.

Yep.

So soul manipulation resistance should be added to all of team Urameshi. With the possibility of passive soul hax to the demon 3 members.

Poison Resistance is iffy to me. Poisons aren't universal, so resisting the toxic air of their atmosphere might just mean that doesn't function as a poison to them. I'd agree with at least a limited resistance if you wanted to note it as such, though.

The soul absorption thing doesn't mention their soul, it mentions their chi, which the wiki does hold to be different. As such this shouldn't be called Soul Manip or Absorption. The ability itself remains valid and mechanically the same, this is moreso just a classification error.

Aside from these minor gripes, this all seems above board.

He turned into a Demon in his battle with Sensui.

When he died the 2nd time, his Reiki levels reached the correct power level for Raizen's ancestral blood to achieve avatism and turn him into a half-breed.
