I see, Goku has become thousands of times stronger than his previous enemies.

Technically speaking we don't see the results of his mental sparring with Kid Buu so we don't know if he'd beat him. Considering how he had an exchange of attacks with Perfect Cell instead of a one-shot stomp, I'd say it's dubious that he could defeat Kid Buu without powering up further.

You know I'm in a Frieza mood right now and I remembered this one user on Twitter who was claiming that Black Frieza one shotting TUI Goku and UE Vegeta was somehow an indicator that Frieza spared them because he knew he couldn't beat them in a fight...when he one shotted them. Twitter's usually full of L takes, but that one never ceases to surprise me in terms of the thought process behind it.
Any of you fellows seen any strange DB takes on the internet? I'm curious to hear

The popular verse folks love putting against DB (when I say popular i dont mean shit like SCP vs DB, more like DB vs Toriko etc etc manga/webtoons) - you can count the universal busters on 2 fingers

I always thought about that statement and tbh, that's less of an anti feat for DBS and more of a feat for Dyspo being an absolute speedster in DB. I mean if the dude's able to become thousands of times faster on a whim and blitz characters that are unfathomably high into MTFL+, that just means Dyspo's fast even by Dragon Ball standards.
EXACTLY! You mean to tell me that Frieza is scared to fight Goku and Vegeta while wielding a form which made him one shot them at their strongest? Ridculous, especially when in context he spared them because he wasn't even there for them.

Cell charged up an attack Goku appeared to him wrapped his hands around his wrist and then one shot him. There was no exchange of attacks and it was indeed a one shot stomp. I don’t disagree that we don’t know what the outcome of the fight would’ve been, but that part about Cell is not true.

Yeah, i agree with you, IIRC, he was never stated to direclty be "faster than light", only his superspeed mode was called "Super Maximum Light Speed Mode", which, well, doesn´t means that he is the only FTL character in the arena and is a nominal fallacy to assume so

From what I remember, Toppo said that Dyspo mastered the speed of light some time ago, and that he was faster nowadays, and not that he has exactly that speed.
And the guy can increase his speed thousands of times, so at least 2000x, and he doesn't even come close to the God Tiers of the tournament of power.

It’s not stated his mode made him FTL. It’s stated that in battles in the past he went from surpassing the speed of sound, and the speed of light. So, he is called FTL, but he first achieved FTL speeds in past battles. (Which would be before T.o.P) People just like to take things out of context.

I think the idea of Goku getting folded by a sentient ******* tree is simultaneously cursed asf but hysterical. Like just imagine Goku going MUI and attempting to blitz Whispy, only to get knocked out cold by an apple and just lose instantly.
And I don't even care if Goku wins, I find the idea too amazing to pass up on so I say go for it
