I dont know if raws say the exact same thing but if they do i think this is evidence enough that even average planets in dragon ball are 3x larger than our earth. this would upgrade the GBE of almost every planet destroyed so far including namek and vegeta
Here the second part of it
It probably doesnt affect the moons it should more so be used to up the GBE of planets like vegeta or namek and possibly earth although a low 5-B moon makes early dragon ball low 5-B/5-B@Ryzen7900X Should the Super Dragon Balls be used as a metric to distinguish between moons and planets? Because using the 37,196.2204 km as a metric to make that distinction for this calc, it only comes out to giving Low 5-B results. Since we currently have beginning of Saiyan Arc Goku at 5-A, I was hoping to potentially upgrade 23rd Budokai Goku up to that too since the calc has some 5-A values and it would make for a better justification for the beginning of Saiyan Arc over just saying "he's 200x weaker than his Namek Arc key"
Also, I'm still waiting for the anime's scans on these statements

@Ryzen7900X How much of Dragon Ball's Earth is covered by land? Any images of the globe are rather inconsistent from one another:
That's correctalthough a low 5-B moon makes early dragon ball low 5-B/5-B
Or too much stingy "Dragon Ball planets and stars have to be the exact same size as our planets and stars"It's a brick wall there
I know there's universal statements in the buu saga (But those could easily be chalked up to being overtime, especially in hindsight either how impressive Goku and Beerus' universe destroying clash wad considered for the time it happened), but what statements does the cell saga have that could make our manga ratings lowballed? Best statement there is Cell saying he can destroy the solar system which we already accept (Although I heard there's a CRT to not scale it to his physicals anymore or something?)Anyone else feel like manga dbz is a bit lowballed considering all the different statement we have throughout cell saga and buu saga that points towards far greater scaling?
It's not the statements themselves put the fact that the calc we use is too low, my own thoughts can be summed up like this:but what statements does the cell saga have that could make our manga ratings lowballed? Best statement there is Cell saying he can destroy the solar system which we already accept (Although I heard there's a CRT to not scale it to his physicals anymore or something?)
Cell: BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!! Now I have the power to destroy the entire solar system, not just the Earth!
Proceeds to only destroy everything from the Sun to the Earth without touching Neptune, Pluto, the Kuiper Belt, or the Ort Cloud
I dont think destroying the solar system should be any lower than destroying it until neptune at least@Dust_Collector Also too, I quickly calced the AP to destroy the Solar System from the Sun to Pluto (which would be what Toriyama was thinking of by Solar System and it’s either 92364.62631 Foe using the Perihelion or 255272.4121 Foe using the Aphihelion
Isnt the DB solar system also stated to be a galactic nebula?? IIRC Herms said it was wrong but he translated it wrongly as well so the raw text should probably get evaluated by the translators here
Why not?dont do it jimmy
I could see ( in near future) a group of 2000 members downgrading dragonball to planet level

Reminds me of Gogeta's meteor explosion on Broly. It seems like a obvious case of durability negation in my opinionIt says on the ki manip page that you can imbue someone with your own ki and then internally detonate it within them. Would that not be some form of dura neg?
The same goes for me hereReminds me of Gogeta's meteor explosion on Broly. It seems like a obvious case of durability negation in my opinion
I think so?Gohan's supposed to be ~~~~1/4 the Solar Kamehameha, right?
- Conversion to Nonexistence: The user of this ability might be capable of turning targets to nothing. This can range from only turning the matter of the target to nothing to also turning things like its energy, mind, soul, space, time and/or concept to nothing. Note that most users of this ability have not the full range of the ability. Further note that one shouldn't list a character to have resistance against this ability in total, as that requires a character to have shown resistance against every imaginable ability which can erase a target.
Nah, herms was wrong, some other translators actually corrected his interpretation of it in a better way.Isnt the DB solar system also stated to be a galactic nebula?? I believe that the energy of destruction must scale to thisIsn't that the definition of Void Manipulation?
![]()
Yeah, one of it applications. Check what ability is in the blue linkIsn't that the definition of Void Manipulation?
![]()
It's because one of the uses is this, Void and EE are very linked, and basically all 3 uses of Void mention EE.Yeah, one of it applications. Check what ability is in the blue link
There's a difference. That'd make every character with EE having Void Manipulation, which is not only completely meaningless but redundant to list the very same ability twice
To turn someone into nothing is the entire basis of EE tho? There's a difference.
Erasing someone from existence is just EE.
But manipulating the void, to erase someone from existence or turn them into nothing, counts as both.
The page itself shows 3 possible uses of Void Manipulation that connects with EE.
The page also gives examples of characters that have Void and EE for erasing something from existence using the void.
So I think being "redundant" is not an argument.
why hasn't anyone brought it up then?Nah, herms was wrong, some other translators actually corrected his interpretation of it in a better way.
Same thing for Void.To turn someone into nothing is the entire basis of EE tho?
It was already rejected for other reasons iircwhy hasn't anyone brought it up then?
In fact, energy itself affects voids that lack concepts of time or space-time.Same thing for Void.
Seriously, the page itself says that even resisting Void would make you resist EE because of the mechanic of transforming the thing into void.
And one of the uses is to make something turn into nothing, which Beerus (manga) does. Beerus's in the manga is even more specific since he doesn't say that he simply erases something from existence, but rather that he turns something into nothing.
And you can have both, considering that the page itself gives us examples of characters that have both.
You do know hakai already hax Void Manip right?Same thing for Void.

Not in the manga. You do know hakai already hax Void Manip right?
Ki by default does, and hakai is accepted as another type of ki, soooooNot in the manga.
Vegeta, for example, doesn't have it.
If it helps, the original text is: "地球は北銀河のはずれにある銀河星雲、太陽系に属している。"why hasn't anyone brought it up then?
Even translating from the nebulaIf it helps, the original text is: "地球は北銀河のはずれにある銀河星雲、太陽系に属している。"
Because its vsb, no way in hell anybody would let this get accepted even if it's right. Like can you imagine the outrage over 4-A cell saga? I could try if you want me to, it'll be hilarious.why hasn't anyone brought it up then?
