Ruby's version of Goku and Vegeta mastered super saiyan blue by the time of the Universe 6 tournament and have been training alongside her and Raditz, thus making them stronger then cannon and ruby is stronger then them and could fight on par with fused Zamasu of her timeline who is a stronger fused zamasu and she did this in Ultra Synergy after using Ultra Synergy while fused with Vegeta gave both of them a boost in power

Ultra Synergy: Ultra Synergy is a state which grants Ruby god-like traits, by mixing God Ki with Preservation Energy. By activating more of her godly ki, Ruby's power increases to a whole other level from what it was before. However it can let the user grow stronger with no limit so long as they think about protecting others, as the form is fueled by the desire to preserve life and lets the user use Preservation energy much better

Empowerment (Ultra Synergy fuels itself with Ruby's strong desire to preserve life, becoming stronger as she fights to protect)

Ultra Synergy let's the user grow stronger without limit also by self preservation, however it's power growth is slower with only Self Preservation as shown with Ruby Black

However given Ruby see Black as a massive threat, she'll basically grow stronger without limit to be able to keep up fine

Black isn’t stupid so he would likely recognize that Ruby is a strong opponent. This in mind, his starting move is obviously powering up as much as possible and spamming ki attacks. In addition, he would likely form a duplicate of himself in the battle to try and discern her weaknesses. There’s also the space-time teleport spam thanks to the Time Ring.

Funnily enough, What if 9 implied Black is capable of using Super Saiyan Rose 2, and further stacking his power with Kaioken. In addition, his teleportation spam is not like any teleportation, which would make it difficult for Ruby to find him.

Edit: Oh yeah, unless Ruby’s first move is destroying the time ring, Black can just transport himself to another timeline, heal, and come back stronger. It’s literally his entire strategy when he’s cornered.

Yeah to one shot her he'd need a attack that's 70 times stronger then her or deal massive damage and make sure she can't dodge and good luck with that with her class T lifting strength to break out of telekinesis and given her limitless growing power that let's her keep up with him, yeah that's going to be hard + her having the ability to turn into a cloud of molecules that grant a speed blitz amp and teleportation

Not to mention some of her her elemetal magic he doesn't have a resistance too

Ruby is a genius in battle and a leader that comes up with strategies on the spot, so she'll probably come up with a plan to beat Black or Black just forces her to go Ultra Instinct Sign 1

Black does still have options to escape the timeline via dragon balls. But, that just ends in Ruby’s win. That’s, like, one of the many Ls Black takes during this fight. The other two are him getting shat on by UI Ruby or being stunlocked by her elements.

Well, the moment Black recognizes that Ruby begins growing in power, he would start using Kaioken multiple times in succession. Ruby's fighting style would similarly be matched as Black is known for doing the same thing, including using various Ki weapons and Ki trickery. Like I said earlier, he is capable of creating ki duplicates of himself and it is entirely possible he would be able to trick Ruby a couple of times. Problem is, he doesn't have an answer to that stupid broken AD.

Just like Ultra Ego and Ultra Instinct, Ultra Synergy's power does depend on the mindset of the user, as its a state of mind just like the other Ultra Forms, meaning it NEEDS Ruby to stay focused on what she wants to protect and think about what she wants to protect while in battle, she just trained over two decades to tap into thus mindset quicker and quicker in life or death moments

But sense getting Ultra Synergy, she had to learn to Tap into that mindset for longer instead and had Ultra Synergy for 3 years and multiple months by this point

So there is a definite possibility he could capitalize on its weaknesses. In addition, he would be able to use Kaioken to at least keep up with her during those moments. It's also entirely possible he could use the same techniques as his canon counterpart. Which allows him to summon clones from that rip in space-time. So those would be a distraction for him to figure out how to win. That being, using Kaioken or trying to hit her with the scythe.
