If I were writing it out, but maintaining the events as usual, after "Small time Impel Down thug," Bogard would have jumped in and fought the injured Shiryu, and when Koby hit Pizarro, he would collapse, get caught by Helmeppo, and Tashigi would block the bullets and stuff flying at them.
