We now have;

After doing some looking around, some (possible, do your own research as I just skimmed) candidates for future profiles (that follow the guidelines) are;
  • Carmen Winstead
  • Kagekao
  • Hobo Heart
  • Bloody Painter
  • Jason the Toymaker
  • Nathan the Nobody
  • Arcane
  • BOB
  • Bunnyman
  • Candypop
The most interesting ones are probs Carmen, Hobo, Jason, Arcane, and Candypop. They have powers iirc

I was rereading the editing rules and saw something at the very bottom;
  • "Since certain types of Creepypasta are likely to conflict with our rules regarding fanfiction, they should be thoroughly evaluated to make sure that they are official creations or have approval from the original creator(s), before being added to this wiki."
I don't think we've been doing that besides the Slenderman game profiles

Should we do that now? Or are the ones we have pretty blatantly not-fanfic? I think this message was more for stuff like Creepypasta Collection or the popular Jeff story

The profiles made so far are not fanfiction, they are unique characters with their own material, like Bloody Painter who has 2 stories, 3 comics, and some animations. I'm sure "fanfiction" would be something like Sonic.exe, Red, Ben Drowned, Jeff the Killer (Woods) etc.

Eyyy nice to finally join us! And oof, didn't know that about BOB

While you're here though, any insight on Creepypasta profiles? Either existing or ones that could be made? I remember asking you if the guidelines we're using for Creepypasta profiles were alright, but never got a response (it's fine tho lol)

The main things you need are:
-A known creator
-Must be the original version (So for example for Jeff The Killer only the Sessuer version can get a page here, the rest is FC/OC)
-Can't be derived from other media (No Sonic.EXE or Tici Toby)

That's what we've been doing, yeah. Notability is the thing I'm worried about most

And not even the Seusser Jeff can get a profile, he's from what is basically The Sopranos/The Boondocks fanfiction

Well idk too much about Jeff either way so

Also small quick CRT for one of the existing pages

when putting the values in the calculator, I think you misclicked and put something else, because I put the degrees and cm from the calc and it gave me a result of 1.5 meters instead of 12
Lol, I put something wrong in the calculator, I'll go fix it. Thanks for letting me know friend.

Its kinda surprising that all of the Creepypasta profiles don't go past 9-C. I know they're almost all based on fairly grounded slasher fiction, but I thought there would be a 9-B or two

Hopefully the Superhuman end gets accepted :v

I read Hobo Heart's stories and he has heart ripping and bone breaking feats, a sadness aura, flight, immortality type 2, and regeneration. He's one of the haxxier ones it seems

I also looked into Candypop. The wiki claims he can shatter concrete with his hammer, but I can't find where he does that in either of his stories

Carmen has ghost hax and maybe a 10-A feat by breaking necks

Arcane looks to be 10-B, 9-C with knife. She has clairvoyance though

10-A yah

Found out why Candypop's wiki page is so weird, it uses information from the Creepypasta and the horror comic his creator made (unrelated to Creepypasta) where he was reused

Could maybe make pages for the comic actually. I'll look into that

Creepypasta Candypop still has skull crushing though

Hmm. Actually, the horror comic doesn't even get 10k views per page, so I don't think that's notable enough to be on the wiki

What qualifies something for being popular enough? I remember making a profile for a character from a story with 150k reads and it was deemed too obscure, but then Judge Angels and Puppeteer's stories have less reads than that (albeit having more fancontent)

I've just been using the metric of "are they in the Popular category on the Creepypasta wiki?" and "does a ton of fanart show up when you look up their name?"

To me the metric is less so view count and more so if there is a notable fandom so to speak/have they appeared in other stuff
Puppeteer and Judge Angles are in that B/C tier list creepypasta where while not insanely popular still are decently popular and have stuff like YouTube readings of their story and fan art/content.
Plus they are popular in the creepypasta wiki as well, which is also a good metric yah

Decided to work on Hobo Heart's profile, this'll be my first actual Creepypasta page despite talking about them for so long lol

Is there a windshield smashing calc? Or is that unusable cuz glass?

I also have a WIP of Carmen, but I need some help (Link to story)
  • Should I give her the typical ghost folklore power that is intangibility? She never shows it in the story, but she is stated to be a ghost
  • Is ripping off faces 9-C?
  • It says she comes out of drains. What power is that?
  • Is it safe to assume she teleports victims and herself to the sewer, given she can strike wherever your home is, no matter the distance? That makes more sense than assuming she psychically carries you there while you sleep

I think teleportation should cover about all you'd need from there due to how it seems to work
Also I would give Carmen either Telepathy or Extrasensory Perception because she seems to know if you don't believe she was pushed instead of falling, so it's either one of those

Also I would add scans for everything

Though he probably wouldn't be allowed on the wiki due to his obscurity, there is a Creepypasta character known as Starman who would likely be High 1-C.

Read Starman

"Over the course of a billion years, my actions have dulled and I have been idle. Having traveled countless galaxies, and having seen and experienced the wonders of the universe, I decided to travel across all dimensions, all the way up to the tenth. The last possible dimension, where everything and anything, and thus nothing, is happening simultaneously. Perhaps, it was time to restart, and maybe even do things differently this time."

This reeks of "made for vs debating" and I don't like it

Yeah, probably. I merely brought him up because I thought it was a good response to the 9-C cap statement, but I see where you come from. It's a fair argument.

I remember a character called "The Chronokeeper" who is at least Low 2-C.
Yep, correct. There are a lot of creepypasta characters who get there actually (though with vaying degrees of being or not being allowed on this wiki), including but not limited to Zalgo, The Endless Black, Slender Man (albeit with feats that this wiki would reject due to it not originating from Something Awful), The One from Above, Beyond, and Below, God (from "An Egg") and the Crystals. There's also a guy called The Supreme Judge who would be 2-A, if not Low 1-C (though he also feels a bit powerscaler-y, not unlike Starman), and The Dead God could get to 2-C. I also heard of a 3-A argument for Mr. Welldone but I'm not sure how legit it is.
