Wasn’t sure if this already existed and if so I apologize. And I know Danganronpa will likely not see new content for a while but even so if you wanna talk about anything regarding the franchise I felt this would be a fun thing to have.

Hello.

For the sake of being transparent and not being a scummy guy who does stuff behind people's backs, I'll say that I have talked with @Dalesean027 here regarding the usage of storey heights.

It's well known to this day that Wikipedia's page on storeys is highly unreliable, given that it keeps changing the size of it constantly without giving a source, so it is pretty much unusable.

Because of this, I'll have to change some calculations on the verse due to them relying on the old 4.3 meters value to 3.048 meters based on this other calc that at least does cite a source and is more within a more realistic storey range (as 4.3 meters is more in line with industrial buildings than residential ones which are definitely much shorter). The calculations involved are the following:

• Giant Monokuma's AP from size
• Giant Monokuma's explosion
• Komaru and Toko take an explosion that makes a tower collapse

Given that these calcs either do not scale to anyone else in any scaling chain nor are the main feats for statistics in chain-scales, this shouldn't be a particulairly controversial change, which I'll apply shortly.

The same will apply to some Madoka Magica feats that have not yet been applied to the pages given that the verse is still under a massive rework.

Edit: Done so. It also ended up upgrading Giant Monokuma to 8-A instead of reducing the value as I realized that the pixel scaling of the feat was just bad.

Can i ask but do we really think the entire DR1 and 2 cast are 9-A just over komaru stuff?

I get the logic and obv characters like Toko and Sakura would scale, but even all the non-fighters? I feel like a lot of characters who dont fight can instead kinda focus on 'intelligence' maybe?

Yeah yeah but i mean, the Teruteru stuff obviously wasnt a real missile and just contained a bunch of flour. It's not like the intention was to kill him there since it was an execution so i think context kinda trumps over that

They're literally portrayed as regular children in-universe, so nah.

No, it being a digital world was confirmed only in Chapter 6, prior it was meant to be a fully realistic world that's 1:1 with the real one in everything.

Its realistic sure, but given the whole executions needing them to suffer, and the likes of completely digitial ai like Chiaki still needing to be programmed the similar way, i dont know if the teruteru feat is comparable to real missiles when the whole point was to just douse him in flour

Always thought the Teruteru calc was a bit odd. Rewatched the execution scene and the trees where the calc scales the trunk to the explosion looks several meters behind Teruteru at the very least.

This is a moot point, as there is enough supporting evidence for 9-A Low Tiers, but with this in mind I figured the + was a bit much and their real distance into 9-A was lower.

What Nagisa is pushing is a Hokora. If you look at an image of it online (or if you regularly watch anime), you probably know that they usually have a space behind the doors... that is, hollowness... And if I understand the calculation correctly, this is ignored or forgotten.

i cant comment there but this all gets fixed just by people specifying in what 'reality' or medium they get these stats in, and otherwise making it clear whether or not the character has, for example a virtual avatar, within the context of the verse.

Yeah i know about SBA but those are hypotheticals for vs debate threads we make and the fictional fight scenarios that are being talked about. Profiles dont come with a 'SBA', theyre just an index

When discussing their stats or powers on a basic profile, it needs to be made obvious in what form of 'reality' these tierings come from, if its a different reality to our own. All it needs is a Note, or a specification like e.g. 'Tier 5 in the digital world' next to it, and then maybe a link or explanation to what those realms are

I can get the sentiment, but profiles like Kirito would be genuinely unreadable if we do that.

They really wont. Its a few extra words at best, and we have Notes/Explanation tabbers and sections that can be referenced to at the bottom of the page for any explanations about tiering.

It wouldnt be impossible nonetheless to readjust a profiles cohesivness if it all becomes 'unreadable' based on a specification. Kirito already has his Tier 10 keys on at least one of the profiles

I mean if its an important factor at all that Kirito is vulnerable in the real world, it should probably be stated. The tiering doesnt need to be elaborated on beyond just being a normal human, but the sake of accuracy then it should be considered.

Or you can just literally make a note and explain how these stats are all within a virtual world, and Kirito is just your average human if theres truly nothing of note about him outside of the game (Such as intelligence or preparation-based abilities for example)

Definitely not every key. At most, its own key, or the suggestion i explained above. It can be a case-by-case basis easily cause it is important in terms of scale and dimensionality what reality these stats come from
