Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

Agreed, but it Would be safer to say in general, instead of Blue. I don’t know if the movie verse actually excludes the manga. We assumed so but nothing contradicts it.
No, it wouldn't be safer to say in general because Goku has not yet re-entered Ultra Instinct yet, nor has he even used SSBKK x20 after the ToP, and Vegeta has not yet re-entered SSBE. The strongest form that was shown off in the Broly Movie by Goku and Vegeta was Super Saiyan Blue. What reason should we have to compare Orange Piccolo to either UI Goku or SSBE Vegeta when neither form has been shown off again. The anime and manga are two different continuities at the moment, so until the manga is adapted into the anime, we're under no circumstances saying that the manga is placed within the timeline of the anime before the movie.
Gohan is confirmed the strongest fighter at that point in many sources, so I’d say he should be above SH Broly, tho not by much most likely.
Gohan is not confirmed to be the strongest fighter whatsoever. And before you go "but Toriyama", the contents of Toriyama's statement is that Gohan is said to be the strongest. Not that he is. Besides that, Gohan has repeatedly followed this trend of how he has the potential to be the strongest fighter, but he never actually becomes such, and this is even backpedalled a little bit on by Super, where him slacking off results in him becoming significantly weaker as a result, to the point where he can't go Ultimate on command. Twice.

And then again, refer to the above; Goku and Vegeta have not shown off their actual strongest forms since the ToP.

What’s the evidence for Beerus one-shot Jiren?
I haven’t seen Toriyama or Toyotaro state so anywhere, and the narrative really doesn’t point to that.

The Vjump editor in that interview isn’t word of god, as he has been wrong with his statements on the story.
Well, I was talking about the manga.
Goku said that he hasn't fought anyone as tough as Moro, Goku was easily stomping on Moro there.

Then it was implied that Beerus knows how to deal with angelic powers Moro, then Frieza is shown to be massively above a stronger Goku and Vegeta, and lastly Whis confirmed that Frieza isn't the warrior who could fight Beerus

Whis didn’t say Freeza wasn’t the warrior, he left it in the air.

also, it wasn’t a warrior stronger than beerus, it was a warrior who will upset the balance of the universe.

I still don’t see any evidence for Beerus being able to one shot Jiren in the manga.

Should be Gohan Blanco > Completed Cell Max ~> SH Broly > brainless Cell Max > Goku/Vegeta/Piccolo > Broly movie Broly

I removed Gogeta because I honestly don’t want to Scale him.

I don’t think it’s controversial for the next arc to do that. After all, wasn’t Vegito Blue surpassed the very next arc? I think it’s reasonable, and just because it’s Gohan doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense.

And we have Freeza Black who is the strongest warrior in the universe 3 years prior to the movie. Beerus not being top dog anymore should also not be controversial. Especially since this site scales Jiren above Beerus.
Forgot to mention that it’s possible that Freeza black could be surpassed prior to the events of that movie. So who knows how that scaling will look in a couple years.

Bandai Namco and their contracted developers are only allowed to work with the Super anime, because Bandai is working with a sublicense from Toei Animation who themselves are working with a sublicense from Shueisha.
I’m aware. Still doesn’t take away from the fact that it sucks.

Can we scale base goku low 2-C from the intro theme of ToP where base goku was fighting one on one against suppressed jiren.

Does someone have good images of the namekian dragonballs flying to earth during the Goku vs Freeza fight?

When I read those chapters I recall then reaching in earth in less than 2 minutes which would make them millions to trillions of times FTL depending on nameks distance to earth

I’m asking also because it might just scale to Freeza himself as he was able to perceive them moving before they flew into space, actual combat speed scaling would be for anyone that could blitz characters on 100% Freezas level before they could perceive what happened ie: Súper Vegeta smacking Imperfect Cell

I believe it was in the novelization of the Broly movie that he felt the need to avoid Frieza's attacks

Damn, for Xenoverse 2, they could at least shrink Cell Max to normal size so that he is playable....

The 2° part of the DLC seems to feature an "important" character so it could be Cell Max tho.

If Freeza gets 30 years of uninterrupted training, he becomes tier 0 with every hax and resistance on the wiki with infinite layers.

Unfortunately Beerus still comes in and one taps him to death.

It really wasn't, tbh. I think it ended up being fine for the most part. I just think that Beerus specifically is really silly.

Edit: That or they introduced a character like Jiren too early.

I agree about Supreme Kai. They hyped up Shin, he made Piccolo shit himself, only for him to look like fodder. He should have been able to contend with Buu imo

Eeeeeeeh. Him being ass compared to Buu makes sense to me, Buu's supposed to be the guy that scares the shit out of him. He shouldn't have been as fodder as he was, but he should've been a little more impressive than what he was. At least stronger than Cell Games arc characters.

Shin being scared shitless of Dabura is completely fine, considering Dabura is the King of the Demon Realm, and Cell, who Dabura is equal to, was the "ultimate lifeform" and denied all logic with his power.

Shin being scared shitless of Yakon and Pui-Pui is frustratingly pathetic.

to be fair leaving piccolo was a warrior facet in the saga buu yes I feel weird if they gave him tremendous power to increase I feel toriyama could do it since buu saga

I think he should've been slightly lesser to Dabura, personally. Like, he'd lose if they fought, but wouldn't be a complete bitch. But... like... yeah, Yakon and Pui-Pui is pretty bad.

You're all right actually. He doesn't need to be Buu level. Him being a pansy on Babidi's ship during Pui² and Yakon ruined it more than anything

i would have made babidi stronger but through dabura magic level type but magic gohan vs dabura shin vs babidi

I would hope they give an explanation about why, despite all the obvious scaling and implications of Goku, Vegeta and Frieza being stronger than Beerus, they aren't, but then I remembered it is DB lol

Also, page 100!

Assuming it’s that God Technique Beerus was talking about which makes his power boundless(passively growing)
Ultra Ego

What are you people smoking?

Is there a disconnection between you people and the way this wiki scales the characters?

Also, don’t mix manga and anime canons. While events play out relatively on par, the scaling differs on both mediums.

I mean, Kaioshin did restrain ssj2 Gohan for a bit so he was quite threatening during that time period, after that he was a pussy for being scared of Pui Pui of all people
