Canon Adjacent and whatever basically means this is a what if story. A canon AU that could've happened. Think of it like a fighting game with multiple routes.

Feats are fine to be used from the first episodes even if they're different. That is the point, it could've happened in the main series but it didn't. It wouldn't be using feats over the main series one, it's using both of them together. Now this starts to become a problem when the series progress more and they separate more with their AU

Who knows how much these characters can get stronger? So I still say take caution with this.

Alternate Profiles will very likely be possible as well. Since AU is still AU, regardless of the what if status.

Fair enough.

Still can't get over how quick they zoomed over Volume 1. Like I get they only have 12 episodes and the people watching have likely watch the original series, but just the speeds in which they zoomed through volume 1 was almost jarring.

Feats wise their not really that wow in the first 3 episodes.

I'll say it like this the entirety of volume 1 is condensed into an hour with with most of the characters nuances and development from volume 1 being non-existent but it still is also giving context to some shit in the beginning though again most stuff has clear differences with events and conversations either not existing at all or being done out of order

What the ****? In the original V1 Pyrrha unlocked his Aura after she hit him with a tree branch and it cut his face before they even found the Deathstalker. Did they retcon that?

Well they did say that Volume 1-2 was gonna get summarised in 2 episodes. Although it does make on wonder what the remaining season will be composed of. Will the entirety just be new stuff until the fall of beacon?

To me it seems too close to magic to delve into dreams and shit so I'm personally not feeling it

That's valid, although with the likes of Ren having a semblance allowing him to see emotions and such I don't think that this is too egregious all things considered.

I just hope they take the same care for the characters layers and the world building as the original series like even if it's an AU I'd be pretty offput if they gave characters like magic and shit and they like started breaking established scaling chains in the series

On that i don't think we should be worry, when it come to powerscaling Anime in general tend to take it more seriously.

We are not going to have Ruby Rose Volume 1 match and defeat Cinder Fall, like Rey vs Kylo Ren.

It doesn't necessarely break the logic/lore of the series as far i'm aware, never it was establish that all Semblance must be combat oriented.
