So these characters can apparently create barriers that can withstand nukes, what level of durability would those shields be?

Not sure, the context is that they are feared across the world (Our World) because nuclear bombs couldn't break their barriers.
Modern nuclear are around tier low 7-C up to 7A. If assuming that it can tank simultaneously combination attack of all the nukes, then it might be far higher (tier 6 and higher)

No nuke we have is 7-A, only the original design of the tsar bomba was that, and it wasn't even made, and the tsar bomba was only really detonated once.

That said, the weakest nuke i found had versions from 10 tons to 1 kiloton of tnt, we of course have the famous hiroshima and nagasaki bombs of tens of kilotons and one website said the american nuke arsenal is of around 100 kilotons.

I think "at least low 7-C" would suffit because the usual weaker nukes are still in the kilotons range

If they're using a forcefield to essentially force an explosion closed thus preventing all collateral damage from happening in the first place. Then I can see them fully scaling from nukes. Also, Hiroshima nukes as mentioned above are 7-C; 15 kilotons to be exact.

But if it's just shielding themselves, and there is a notable distance from the epic center. We may make use of inverse square law.
