BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

No Kisuke refused to create a Hogyoku for Ichigo during TYBW when the world was going to be destroyed by Yhwach, he won't create one for a captain imo

Wouldn't Kisuke need a lot of SK parts to build one each for all Captains ?
Yeah he will need a lot, but in CFYOW he claimed that he could create a one during TYBW and give it to Ichigo but didn't want to do that, so maybe he already has a SK part or he found a new way to complete the Hogyoku without a SK part

I don’t know about that. Kisuke seemed all evil at the end, even Yoruichi wanted Urahara to kill him. Urahara is keeping a secret. Yoruichi even said she would stay by Urahara’s side even if he turns into a villain in the SS eyes. 👀

Kisuke has clearly said that he doesn't agree with the current state of the world, at the end of the novel it's implied that he has something in his mind but we don't know about it, it seems that he was searching for a way to save the world without any needing for a soul to sacrifice (like Reio, Yhwach, Hikone), and as a result, he invented the Hogyoku but the Hogyoku needed to be used by someone as a sacrifice so he is searching for another way, that's what I think about him tbhh

Been wondering about how Kubo will wind up everything in the Hell arc! What will happen to the captains who goes to Hell ? will it be their permanent fate ? Will the world return to it's previous state ? Will Urahara find some new way ? New Ruler Aizen ? Lots of questions and possibilities.

If Aizen is correct about the Hogyoku having a will of its own maybe Urahara can make another one with the souls and reiatsu of those in Hell to have a bigger Hogyoku as the new permanent Soul King sphere in a new world order. Hogyoku can't be destroyed right?

If Im not mistaken, the whole story about "Hogyoku have a will of its own" was a lie, as Ichigo said at the ending of the Arrancar arc, Hogyoku reads the heart of the user and makes his wishes come true, so it follows the user’s will and without a user, it won't do anything.

That's why Im thinking that Kisuke gave up on using the Hogyoku because it requires a sacrifice and he is against this concept according to CFYOW.

But even according to CFYOW, he didn't create the Hogyoku for the sake of the world.
He created it because he was just trying to discover something new, just like Mayuri, and he said that Reio was just a secondary goal

Urahara was creating the Hogyoku for Reio?

Urahara was creating the Hogyoku for Reio?
His main goal was just to create something new, he was just like Mayuri right now, wanting to discover things to satisfy his desires, but replacing Reio was a secondary goal.

Yoruichi spoke as though she were testing Urahara. The man sighed slightly and then responded with a serious expression, “Mr. Hisagi probably thinks that I created the Hogyoku for the Reio’s sake.”
“That’s not necessarily mistaken, though, right?”
“You’re wrong. Entirely wrong. It’s the opposite.”
There was both regret and self-derision in his words as Urahara looked back at his own past. “All I wanted to do was create something new. The goal for doing so was secondary. I just wanted to open a new door. I used the Reio as an excuse to open the lock to that door. I simply followed my own desires… Fundamentally, I am no different from Mr. Kurotsuchi and how he sacrifices so many in order to fulfill his craving for research.”

“Mr. Hisagi probably thinks that I created the Hogyoku for the Reio’s sake.”
I don't get this part. Why would Hisagi think that? Or why would that even help Reio? I understand that Urahara wanted to do the opposite but I don't understand Hisagi's reasoning.

Kisuke put him under the impression that he created it for Reio’s sake + Tokinada was under the same impression so he told Hisagi that Kisuke created the Hogyoku for that reason = Hisagi believes that Kisuke created it for Reio

Even Yoruichi was thinking that this was the reason but Kisuke said that its wrong

"when i was younger"
the Soul king is way older than both aizen and yhwach, it kinda already feels farfetched imo

the two gold fish in the story are clearly very tied together and tldr one dying helps the other.

Yhwach being alive clearly wasn't stagnating Aizen's growth hes still evolving on his own, and hes power isn't stated equal to Yhwach.

being at such a young age I thought the story was to emphasis kazui uncanny thought process.

So Yhwach is not his son confirmed because he is barely 200 to 2000 years old. Soul King got sealed before the worlds even existed. Or they are reincarnations of his sons.

It wasn't stated that the larger fish was stagnating the smaller fish.

Yet the fish is shown again with nothing that has to do with Kazui in the second imagine.

yo question, if utikate was confirmed to have the highest Rei out of all captains , does that mean he auto scales to anything they do? just askin

Ukitake is said to have the biggest Reiryoku among captains, not the biggest Reatsu. And as far as I remember, Reii is the unit of measurement used to classify the concentration/density of Reatsu in Reishi. So it's highly unlikely that Ukitake has the highest Reii among the Captains.
