One Piece Chapter 1027: "Danger beyond Imagination" (Official Release)

from Mitch's calc Onigashima's fly 11km above Sea level, meaning the Clouds will be closer of course Timeframe less than 4 seconds
Cloud "height" is not really... how far they are from the ground, otherwise it would make no sense to apply it to the volume, would it?

from the start it didn't make sense, Wanokuni island alone is an island above an island that form of a pillar that is quite high, after all the clouds in One Piece have a height of almost 20km above sea level. Maybe make its Consistent

Oooh, shet.

We can actually see the full split this time, I'mma do some quick maths for future reference.

(We'll only get the timeframe next year, but we can probably use Big Mom's timeframe as an assumption)

92ikQag.png

Onigashima's eye: 5px/863.28m

Cloud Split Width: 325px = (325/5)*863.28 = 56113.2m

Divide that by 2: 28056.6m (Radius 1)

Using the exact same method as the currently accepted calculation of Big Mom

Using the same timeframe as Big Mom's split (4s)

28056.6m/4 Seconds = 7014.15m/s

Finding cloud mass

Panel Height: 397px
  • 2atan(tan(70/2)*(325/397)) = 0.740035509 rad or 42,400911355621º
Distance from the screen: 72333m

Height of Clouds is 8000 Meters (same as used for other Wano cloud calculations)

Volume (Elliptical Cylinder) = 51,004,838,640,248m³

Multiply by 1.003 to get the mass of: 5.11578532e13kg

KE = (0.5)(Mass)(Velocity^2)

(0.5)(5.11578532e13)(7014.15^2) = 300,77 Gigatons of TNT (Large Island Level)
Well, worth a shot.

How valid would it be to use the width of the split from this one to retroactively recalc the width from BM vs Kaido??
It is basically the same feat but we just didn't get to see the full aftermath the first time...

But cloud height isn't how far off the ground they are, it's their literal height from bottom to top-

We can literally see the split on Big Mom's feat and scale it directly to Onigashima

GodlyCharmander: Perhaps you should post a blog calculation for the feat?

Damn.......

I wouldn't eve be surprised if a good part of the raid will be wrapped up this year.
It's really coming to an end.
Sad noises
I wonder what will happen afterwards. Will the Strawhats fight the Blackbeard crew first, or will there be a three-way gigantic war between the fleets of the Straw Hats, Blackbeard, and the World Government Navy?

Well, Elbaf's mini arc should be the next one IMO, so it's "too soon" for Sakazuki and Teach, Shanks may appear at Elbaf and talk or even fight with Luffy, but i doubt anything major or a full crew fight would happen.

But something i think really needs to happen is a fight between the black beards and the red hairs and many of the red hairs dying there to hype Teach's 10 captains a bit more (and it's not like the minor members of the crew will have any utility anyway).

I wouldn't even be surprised if we won't even get an Elbaf arc tbh.
The pace of the current story is unprecedented.

Oda can literally do what he wants when Wano is over and it'd be 10/10.
I'm just taking the story as it comes.

Actually, no, that makes no sense, the entire cloud was pushed apart, there's no reason to use only the mass that was inside of the split, as the entire cloud had to move. I'll make this into a blog

Edited it.

As someone else has pointed out in the comments, the current depiction of Onigashima has the eyes far larger than the one image on 2020 we used to pixelscale, using the highest hill of every panel Onigashima appears in, and scaling it to the eyes, we ALWAYS get 1000m+ meters, outclassing the 863m calculated before. We shouldn't have used a scan where Onigashima was SO far away, it obviously lacked detail.

Does anybody else get a bit annoyed with how Luffy is constantly berating Momo? I mean, Momo is just an 8 years old child. He is doing great for his age, comparatively speaking.

Anyway, does somebody know how large Kaido is in hybrid form, and how large Big Mom is?
