Ragnarök-RP Thread

"No. I'm going to kill her." Belial held his shadow sword as Lamia dashed forward on the offensive, her trident clashing with his sword once more, creating a spark of energy that burned King Tiger's skin and created tidal waves.

"Well, I'm going to try and muster up the courage, that is..." Belial thought.

"Don't go doing something you'll regret kid! Thiers always a chance this doesn't have to end in death!" David shouted out, rushing towards the duo, his flesh burnt from where the sparks of energy had flown.

While Belial was clashing with the goddess, David circled around her, and wrapped two muscular arms around her throat and head, putting her into a headlock and binding her down to her atoms, assuming it was successful.

The headlock itself was successful, but.. "You meanies are very very idiotic, hee hee!" He could feel countless sharp needles slam against his entire body, bullets made entirely of compressed water, knocking him away from her. She began to float in the air.

"This entire planet is made of water, and I have absolute authority over the element. Which means I can do cool things like this..." She created a small ball of water in her hand and began to rapidly rotate it, gradually adding more pressure as the spin speed increased.

The High-Pressure ball of water got larger and larger until it was like a large boulder of compressed and spinning water charged with raging divinity. "Woah.." Belial said.

"Suffer. Suffer..!!" She called out, crimson rage still filling her eyes. This would definitely kill them both if it was released at them... It'd probably kill someone like Yharon or Ivan the Terrible instantly as well.

"But.." Lamia could feel something pierce her chest, "She's still too inexperienced." One of Belial's Shadow Soldiers was summoned behind Lamia, waiting for his cue to attack. "H-huh..?" It was in no way a fatal wound, but she was definitely surprised and in pain, allowing King Tiger an opening for his next attack.

"I don't want to have to do this!" David yelled, rushing towards her.

"CALM DOWN KID!" King Tiger yelled at the girl as he delivered a vicious flying knee onto the girls head, using the momentum of his charge combined with his conceptual manipulation to amplify the damage. If successfully, King Tiger would raise both his hands upward, performing a fierce Mongolian chop on Lamia's shoulders.

As soon as King Tiger initiated his attack, Lamia had already propelled herself forward at such a speed that he couldn't even react. Neither of them was a match from the start when there was so much water around. "Take this..!!"

Instead of directly attacking them, Belial instead attacked the trident with his sword, stopping its movements and cutting it in half. "!!!" The trident transformed back into her toothbrush, instead, it was cut in half. "Ah.."

She was hit by David's attack, being blown back only because she was surprised by the loss of her weapon.

Her eyes remained blank and unchanging as she was flung into the air, as if she was in a constant state of shock. The water passively came to aid her, firing countless spears at him that pierced his stomach and waist, freeing Lamia from his grip.

"Why is she so... stagnant..?" Belial thought.

Lamia fell back to the ground, her eyes still displaying shock. What could be the cause of it?

“damn” David said, spitting up blood as the spears impaled his body. Using his body control, he moved his organs just enough to avoid the attacks hitting his vitals, avoiding lethal damage. He floated downward, coming to a stop a few feet away from the goddess, still recovering from his injuries.

“what’s…what’s up with her. She didn’t move when I grabbed her either…” David said, confused.

“Lamia…you…you alright?” David asked. It felt weird, asking someone who just tried to kill him if their were ok, but her current state seemed very odd.

She picked up the pieces of the toothbrush that Belial cut in half, staring at them with that same unchanging demeanor. "Wait a minute... Oh ****, I remember now..!" Lamia began to tremble and tear up. "That toothbrush.."

"WAAAAHHH!!!" She manifested a pillow, held onto it, and began to cry without end. Her wails echoed across entire realities as she cried and cried.

"I remember her telling us... That toothbrush was a memento from her mother."

(I'm not pulling that out of my ass she did actually say that.)

((Yeah I remember lol))

David staggered towards her. Standing a few feet away As she cried. Wordlessly he held his hand out, and attempted to repair the broken pieces of the toothbrush using his conceptual manipulation. He knew that it was a dangerous weapon, but he couldn’t bear to see her cry like this, despite everything that happened.

“we’re…we’re sorry Lamia…”

She growled at David, knocking him away with her hand as his efforts at repairing the toothbrush were in vain. She thrashed around in rage and sadness, "M-mommy...!! It huuurts..!!" She then referred to her previous injuries which began to slowly heal, the process being slowed down due to her own sadness.

Belial then gently pressed his fingers against her forehead, using his abilities to knock her out. "Her divinity must've weakened due to her own negative emotions..." He picked Lamia up, throwing her over his shoulder.

"You'll see." Belial teleported himself down into the cave, standing in front of the altar that held the Okeanós Blossom. "I'm not going to take you.." Belial held his hand out in front of the flower. "You're going to take me..."

Suddenly, a beam of light erupted from the flower, consuming Belial and taking him into a void. "If I give you a piece of myself... Will you give me your nectar? It doesn't matter how much, it can even be just a drop. Please. If I transmute a piece of myself into you... Will you please help me?" He asked the flower.

Belial then nodded, "Good... I'll never bother you again, I'll leave Lamia alone, and if David tries anything I'll kill him, just... Let me see her again. Please.." Then, he convulsed in pain that he shouldn't have been able to even feel.

"Gk- AHHHHH...!!" He screamed out, clenching his chest as light was forcefully pulled from his body and absorbed into the flower. "Myself... For you." In the process of allowing the flower to continue blooming, Belial sacrificed a piece of himself.. "Hn..!" He wrenched in agony from having his very essence removed.

But... The flower bloomed once more.

"W-woah.." Belial said, backing away from it.

(An asspull, I know. I don't care lol.)

"Uh-huh," Belial said. He wasn't in any state to actually listen to David, so he just searched for Nightingale and Kiara, and eventually found... Just Nightingale. "Where's Kiara?" She responded, "She's safe.. What's that?"

"Nectar. Can you make medicine out of it?" Nightingale nodded, "If given time... Yes. But your friend doesn't have much time.." He responded, "Then make it fast." She nodded, immediately getting to work.

"What makes you think we can help you find purpose?" Yamato asked him, "Is this your best attempt of joining the Sanmuyūbyōsha?"

"The what?" Zonolo asked.

"The Sanmuyūbyōsha. We're like a weird team of sorts, so I figured we needed a name to be known and feared by..."

"Maybe we should save the names for later..."

"You and Zonolo are some of the most resolute and purpose-driven individuals I have ever encountered. I could learn from you in that regard," Mira responded, "And if I must join the group of yours to get a step closer to finding my purpose, then I will."

Boros looked at Mira, an immense aura coming off the android.

"His power is immense..." Boros said, "He would be a great ally to have by our side, and what he's asking for doesn't appear to be much in exchange for what he has to offer...."

"I guess we could help you out with that..." Zonolo said to Mira, "I don't know how to do that, but we can figure something out..."

Mira nodded, and Zonolo turned toward Yamato.

"I think we're gonna need a new team name. 'San' is 'three', and now we have four."

"How about Mugen Muyūbyōsha? That covers any number of people we have on our team...."

"I guess that works. Now, let's go. I can't think of anything else to do here...."

"I could provide a means of training for you all," Mira said, creating a portal to another dimension, "Follow me."

The group walked through the portal which closed behind them.

Meanwhile, a woman peered into a book, sitting in a chair white chair in a white room with her legs crossed. It had an infinite number of pages, the current ones empty, but rapidly filling themselves with information. She closed the book, which seemed to turn into a mist that was absorbed by her body. The woman got up, turning to walk out of the room. Reaching what appeared to be a wall, she took a step forward, the wall opening to let her through. She looks onward at a realm that seemed to expand infinitely. Looking down on the area, she smiles, descending downward through steps that manifest under her feet to allow her to descend.

(Imagine the area looks like this, but all white and in a white void, and the statues are of the aforementioned woman: )

"Marvelous, new chapters in the story, accumulating every second..." She said, "I can't wait to see how it ends..."
The four arrived from the portal created by Mira. There, they saw what looked to be an ancient realm. Engravings of a dragon were on the ground below them, albeit somewhat in ruins. Bridges, aerial islands and mountainous peaks were prevalent throughout the domain, some with dragons hovering to and fro from them at higher altitudes.

"Welcome to Dragon's Nest, a realm far above Muspelheim," Mira said, "This would be the ideal place to go if you are preparing to fight against the Goddess of Power. We start here at Dragon's Nest and work our way down to Muspelheim..."

"Muspelheim?" Zonolo asked, "Sounds like some kind of D&D thing..."

"It's Norse," Yamato said, "Muspelheim is the realm ruled by Surtr, who battles against the gods of their pantheon... The Goddess of Power would far outclass him in battle, but I suppose there's always the possibility that he's gotten stronger..."

"And we would have all of his relatives and subjects to deal with, who he leads to battle against the gods..." Mira continued.

"So potentially billions of Surtrs?" Boros said, "I suppose that would be some good training."

"We pull an Impel Down and work our way to the bottom level for battle against a whole realm's worth of Surtr Juniors? I guess that would be one of the more eventful things we've done..." Zonolo said, "Mira, lead the way. You know more about this area than any of us."

"Affirmative," The android replied, powering up and flying off. Zonolo, Boros and Yamato all followed behind, observing the countless islands and mountains present in Dragon's Nest. Zonolo frowned. While he was starting to warm up to this place, and witnessed a lot of amazing sites here so far, he still wished his family could see them as well... However, if his family was here, he wouldn't need to be at Dragon's Nest in the first place. As of now, he's just trying to get strong enough to send himself back home.

As the group flew, some dragons had picked up their scent and began a hot pursuit of the motley crew.

One dragon for each of them appeared behind them, and they all dealt with them in their own ways. Mira blasted the one pursuing him with a beam of energy, Yamato destroyed the one behind her with a swing from her kanabo, and Boros incinerated the one chasing him with a blast of energy from his body. Meanwhile, Zonolo kept flying. The dragon behind him opened its jaw to eat him, and then.

"POW." Zonolo thought, the text box annihilating the dragon on impact.

Suddenly, more dragons roared, pursuing the group. The sheer number of the winged beasts darkened the sky and hid the light of the sun from them.

"I think we just made the whole family upset..." Yamato said.

"Really? I couldn't tell!" Zonolo said sarcastically.

"Then it was fortunate that I explained it to you..." Yamato answered.

Zonolo's eyes turned to dots and his mouth into a squiggle once more, before he returned to normal and got ready to deal with the situation at hand. All of them readied their respective fighting stances, preparing to do battle with the much larger and stronger dragons.

(Bruh, that's basically the equivalent of saying Griffith did nothing wrong LOL.)

Belial waited and waited for Nightingale to finish her work, only to be met with a syringe filled with a rainbow-colored liquid. "Well... It's done. I tried to administer it myself, but she isn't taking it. I need you guys to help me out here." Belial nodded.

"Whatever you need."
