Akon wasn't using his shikai. He used something he took from his neckless. It looks similar to the tubes Uryu used when he didn't had powers in the Arrancar Arc when his father first arrived.

I don't think Hell would have any effect on his Hollow, considering that now Ichigo is fully in tune with his Zanpakuto.

Inb4 the atmosphere of Hell actually weakens Ichigo, this way Kubo makes sure he won't one-shot everyone thrown at him.

This isn't confirmed in canon, yet. That only happened in the not canon movie. We still don't know if the chains do the same. The chains in this chapter look like mimihagi tattoos on the body across the hollow hole and Ghouls Szayelaporro can manipulate the physical chains to drag souls like Renji to Hell through a mouth of hell portal.
 
The safest bet about Ichigo's zanpakutou is that Yhwach in the end destroyed his "Asauchi" and Ichigo was able to summon his old Psudo-Zanpakutou to kill Yhwach at the same time he was attacking (meaning Yhwach wasn't using his reishi in blut-vene to defend against the attack but blut artery meaning his defenses were not that strong) and managed to kill him. But this doesn't mean this version of Ichigo is weak. spoilers for ahead for new chapter This version of Ichigo at least scales to the chains of hell that are able to scare Post Royal Training Renji off and pierce him in base form. Ichigo returned to the World of the Living again without affecting it because he ain't at full power without an Asauchi. He will need a new one to get even stronger. Knowing Ichigo he wouldn't bother until another major enemy comes along, or he will mastered other abilities from his mother's side or hollow side. But this is just a theory, until the manga explains it.

I wonder if the soul king is in hell? The warden of hell is likely one of the noble ancestors which helped create the cosmology

It's probably full of omnipotent beings like yhwach from the original universe

But seeing the way kubo writes its probably gonna be a new character from a the new race of ghouls entirely.

So, something that I don't think I've seen being mentioned, and it's something from the last chapter of Bleach and not the one-shot. . . Kazui is a Shinigami. Let me repeat that, but slower: Kazui. Is. A. Shinigami.

This is how Ichigo, even tho he was the son of a Shinigami, became one: stabbed by Rukia's Zanpakuto and given her powers, awakening his own Shinigami powers after being a Konpaku for multiple days straight in a deadly ritual that has the very big possibility of turning someone into a hollow, and then awakening them again when stabbed by a sword infused with a shit ton of Reiatsu.

So this begs the question: How did Kazui become a Shinigami? Was he born with the ability to just become one at will? If so, then how or why?

Wasn’t Isshin’s spiritual power working to “seal” Ichigo’s, as it only returned once Ichigo’s Hollow made a full appearance against Byakuya. Coupled with Young Yhwach not wanting Ichigo to get strong earlier on.
 
I don't remember the Isshin bit, but OMZ was trying to prevent Ichigo from becoming powerful. So I guess if it wasn't for that he would have just naturally developed Shinigami abilities like Kazui.

Kekw yeah I remember a thing with Isshin being that his power returned to him after White was released during the fight against Byakuya. Which enabled Isshin to use his powers after ~20 years.

I imagine Kazui being the son of the man who possesses every quality to become Reio and the son of the woman who’s power steps into the realm of god helps too lmao.
 
Kazui just a crazy powerful Fullbringer. Yoinked his own Shinigami powers to the surface because why the hell not. Also no one really talks about it cuz we’ve known he was one for 5 years.

Its stated in TYBW, Isshin’s Reiatsu was containing white and then white broke out meaning Isshin’s Reiatsu is no longer able to do that so Isshin regained it
 
i just thought of something. The kyogoku was made by the blanks/made of them. It seems to have a sun, was large enough to cover the distance of the dangai, which is larger than the WOTL and SS. Senna uses that power at the end of the film, which can either be seen as the energy for a creation feat (which should scale to physicals) or the mass of the kyogoku as energy. Thoughts?

I mean the Blanks are souls without memory, and souls without memory is just energy according to Kisuke. Blanks use themselves (energy) to create matter (Kyogoku).
