Dang, Blue. This is a good fight. I honestly don't know because fire is gonna do like...nothing, alongside electricity to a lesser extent to Charizard, but there's also the dragonslaying, and Charizard is weak to dragons. So I don't know if Natsu is doing more or less.
 
Natsu. Charizard would naturally lead with fire attacks, amping Natsu by quite a bit. Fire attacks will hurt Charizard (not much), but fire won't hurt Natsu. Dragonslaying is also a thing
 
A quick thing. Not sure X would lead with fire, given that its ability is about physical attacks. And if Natsu doesn't eat the fire, he's not no-selling. Plus, resistances aren't really a thing in FT. A fire mage will be just as vulnerable to fire.

Granted, this is not a vote. Just don't sell the dragon short.
 
I'm not. This is an incredibly close fight, I just think that it's a possibility Charizard might lead with Fire Blast or something. And even if he doesn't, I still think Natsu wins.
 
@Cal What do you mean Resistances aren't a thing in Fairy Tail? Why does FT suddenly not have resistances?
 
charizards fire is worthless here so there is not to discus that lol.

Honestly I think Natsu simply wins as his attacks are effective (even more as he is a dragon slayer) since Chari can't use his fire attacks which are his main arsenal he should still be able to do some damage with other attacks but nothing that can give him the win.
 
FIre Punch, for example. Is Natsu literally going to eat a punch that's on fire? Or how about Flare Blitz? Charizard sets himself on fire and charges full speed at his opponent. How is Natsu going to eat that?
 
He will eat the fire around the body and all that remains is physical damage that will obviously be weaker then what it would of been with fire as well.
 
There is no way Natsu is going to be able to see that coming, then proceed to literally eat all that fire, then get back in position to take the hit.
 
Natsu eats the flames while he is getting the hit or blocking it. It's literally how he fights lol.

If he ate the flames while he was getting hit, he already would have sustained the damage. And besides, the flames go out immediatly after Charizard makes contact. And ignoring all of that, how would he eat a 5'07 wall of fire?
 
^Did you see the range of God Serena's attacks and Natsu just ate it,also nothing really stops Natsu from attacking instead of blocking as he becomes more powerful when he eats fire so there is no real need to eat everything even thou he can. And his fire is super effective against dragons.
 
Alright, fair point, I just can't imagine Natsu just eating the fire from around Charizard. And even then, Charizard does have other moves. I still do think Natsu wins, I'm just providing reasons why Charizard could win.
 
Someone need to edit the topic before making matches...

I'm probably going with Natsu for being skilled with dragonslayer magic (And at least not be a freaking animal), and being capable to eat flames as well being resistant to it.
 
@Cal .....Should have you didn't think resistances were a thing in Fairy Tail....That claim had me worried.

Oh yeah. Natsu should take this via eating and resisting fire. Plus with Charizard being a Dragon, Natsu's attacks will become more potent. So Natsu for me.
 
Both Natsu and Charizard had resistance to each other moves (Fire Dragon Slayer Natsu resist both dragon and fire, while Charizard has greater resistance to fire), but both are able to circunvent this (Charizard's other moves... though they arean't the best exactly...) and Natsu has expirence battling enemies that resist fire/magic (due to only being High 7-A forms, he can't use Lightning).

I was going to say inconclusive, depending on who circunvet first, but due to Natsu's higher stamina, experience and ability to not only resist but also regain stamina while gaining a power-up from charizard's fire attacks (Which can also be bad for charizard in the case of flare blitz) I'll give my vote to Natsu with high-diff

Which was used here? Fire Dragon King or Dragon Force?

They are pretty much the same, but just to add while mentioning the version used.
