Talulah vs Charizard

Every example of Arknights dura negation is just bypassing heavy armor that physical damage normally. Heck, that's what's provided as an example on the profile

But Charizard is naked, he's not wearing heavy armor, and he doesn't get defensive stat boosts either

It's like Charizard taking damage from a regular attack, and Chip Away, Sacred Sword, and Darkest Lariat, or any move boosted by Unseen Fist. All 3 of those moves and the ability "ignore armor" since they bypass standard means of protection, but Charizard takes the same amount of damage from all of those moves since he doesn't have any armor to penetrate. It's just skin and flesh

Mega evolving increases Charizard's durability, but not artificially. His very biology changes. I don't think the dura neg can bypass the defenses provided from a literal mutation

No, Arknights doesn’t have the traditional armor system but more so differing levels of resistances to different types of attacks. These are not based around in-battle statistical changes.

Amiya and Chen only even won against Talulah because a mix of power null, and the fact that they literally had to shut their mouths.

Considering Charizard isn't the Pokemon who remains silent all, he just gets vaped from the inside out.

Arknights game mechanics apply just as much as Pokemon. What is this logic that Arts doesn't neg durability?

I did see it as someone who played at least up to Chapter 8, though I should’ve emphasized that more than take it for granted. Yea, Zard is not protected from the inside out, either lol

but Gigantamax is a 1 time use temporary power up, so once that wears off he could just mega

Where does it even specify that? I never stated Talulah can slice Goku in half, that’s NLF otherwise. But here they’re in the same tier so I dunno where you’re getting that from.

The issue with this is that the "def stat" is just your durability. Attacking as if that defense stat is 0 means you just instantly die on contact, so heck, against Goku it would work. I was under the impression that "bypassing armor" in Arknights ISN'T setting the enemy's defense stat at 0, but rather ignoring the "trait" of "armor" and hitting enemies directly. Meanwhile, Charizard doesn't have armor

Not to mention, where does this imply that Talulah can bypass Charizard's natural resistance to fire?

Yea good luck when Talu’s Arts has AOE range, so speed may not matter that much if he cannot get away or even close in.

Mega/Gigantamax gives a marginal omniboost, at least in the anime (ik Mega Charizard has the same base speed as reg Charizard but in the anime that's not the case), and Dragon Dance makes him 4 times faster on top of that, AND he has means of debuffing Talulah. Stat-nerfing moves like Rock Tomb can still nerf stats through the likes of Reflect and Light Screen, so even if she reduces damage through barriers, she's still getting weaker, not to mention Growl can also just bypass everything due to being a status sound based move that nerfs attack. Her AP advantage goes out the window if Charizard growls at her, which is an absurd thing to imagine but that's how it's treated on this wiki

Pretty much.

I think Amiya or Ch’en might be technically a more fair matchup with much less AP; that being said, Amiya in particular has technically far better Arts manipulation and more hax to resort to, I’d believe (for example, her Chimera skill noping both dura and resist), just that she’s not nearly as skilled as Talu.

At the start, this could be a major stomp in Talu's favor, but with superior stat amps and mobility
Charizard will eventually edge her out and claim victory.
What does Talu start with?

That very much depends on what key you use lol, post ch 8 she is 100% more skilled than Talulah

No, it's apart of her originium arts general abilities. We just haven't updated the older cast in awhile, once I finish the verse I'm currently working on I'll probably go back and revise a lot of them, Amiya included
