Legendary Pokemon Revision

So I believe this may be our final pokemon revision. And this one is one we've been talking about for awhile. So we pretty much started thinking that no Legendary Pokemon should be below any regional pokemon in power.

Now before anyone brings up Pseudo Legendary please remember that Pseudo Legendary is a fan term and that the 8 Pseudo legendaries Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross, Salamence, Garchomp, Hydreigon, Goodra and Kommo-o have absolutely nothing to do with each other. They are connected through game mechanics only as they are normal Pokemon with a Base Stat total of 600 which is something only legendaries and mega evolutions really get to do. So in short Pseudo Legendaries do not count for this.

Of course the Pokemon not effected by this would be Arceus, The Creation Trio, The Tao Trio, The Regis, The Light Trio, The Ultra Beasts, The Guardian Duo, The Legendary Birds, The Vitality Trio, The Weather Trio, The Mew Duo, The Lunar Duo, The Kami Trio, The Tapu, Meloetta, Manaphy, Diancie, Volcanion, The Lake Trio, Keldeo, Genesect, Magearna and Shaymin.

Those who have not been given a profile but would also not be affected by this is The Swords of Justice and Victini

The ones who would be affected by this is Celebi, Hoopa, The Legendary Beasts and the Eon Duo.

Of course there is also one singularity as well. And that is Marshadow. While we know his appearance, abilities, natural movepool and some info on his hax, He has NOT been offically revealed yet. He has no official artwork yet either so there is that. He would most likely be affected by this as well. However, considering the trends of the franchise, he will be featured in a movie coming soon likely with Solgaleo and Lunala. So as of now we will leave the adorable Marshadow alone.

So the highest tiered normal Pokemon we have on the site is Tyranitar who is casually Mountain level. So the proposal here is for every legendary that does not have any higher feats to be scaled to At least 7-A considering it does not make since that Legendary/Mythical Pokemon are weaker than the regional pokemon. As that would ruin the point of these Pokemon being considered Deities/Gods/Above normal Pokemon.

What do you all think. Does this sound okay?

Even Entei can create eruptions just by roaring

Complete agree with this.

Also, Latias/Latios already have a Mountain level result to support

Wasn't Latios' Mountain level stat from that sacrifice move in Pokemon Heroes?

The Low-end should actually be City Level-Mountain Level. But whatever, we are likely gonna place them at At least Mountain level anyway.

I semi-agree, some legendaries are not at all known for their strength or for being leagues above others through AP and etc, (like Celebi for example) in which should obviously not scale. Although, that's a rather small amount, but yeah, I agree with this for Pokemon like Entei and etc.

Celebi scale from Suicune, and it does from Entei

So....

I'd agree with Celebi if it wasn't for the fact that she scales to Suicune who would scale to Entei.

Ah Celebi scales to Suicune in the game? Can't say I remembered that, but I think the point of what I was suggesting got across

EDIT: Wait a second, Celebi never even interacts with Suicune and doesn't even appear in game outside of an event, what are you guys talking about?

In Pokemon 4Ever, Data. I forget the exact interaction but I believe she battled with Suicune and Tyranitar.

Ah I see, in anime canon she scales. (I'm going to add that to Celebi's profile)

No. I am waiting for more of my fellow staff members to comment here as well as our head of the Pokemon files.

I agree with this but this should be anime only because in some cases in the games the title of legendary is given not because of power but because of ether importance to the overall story or hax.

Agree with this as well

And speaking of Celebi shouldnt we add Dark Celebi from 4Ever as an additional key? IIRC, it was easily stronger than even the likes of Suicune, was casually beating down pokemon like Tyranitar and was destroying the entire forest it lived in, including the Lake of life

Well you gotta remember that these files are composited anyway.

and i also think the legendary beasts/dogs should scale to the legendary birds
I agree.

@Dragon I know they are composited thats why we gotta use the Key for the anime and not the games or manga.

I had something to say about Pseudos. You immediately shut it down. I'm on a boycott now. Or a strike. Whatever. ovo jk

In all seriousness, this is something I've been behind for a while.

I agree with this, though my argumentative side thinks putting a Likely 7-A would be better.

@Anime Dark Celebi probably deserves a key if it gained a power boost.

Yea that. Tell me if im wrong, since I havent seen 4Ever in ages, but after Celebi was caught by that hunters dark ball, and became Dark Celebi, it gained a serious power increase and did feats like:

- casually destroying the forest, including the Lake of Life

- Easily overpowering the said pokemon in forest, even the likes of a Tyranitar

-Was able to overpower Suicune

If accepted, what would this make Dark Celebi?

@Anime, I rewatched a bit of the movie recently, and it seemed the dark power just unleashed Celebi's full power that it had been holding back to that point. Also the feats listed on its profile are already done by Dark Celebi last I checked.

XD

What did you have to say about Pseudo's? Now I'm curious.

Meh, I support the 'any legendary' > 'every non-legendary' thing.

Another thing though. I've recently seen a few pokemon moves (The Rise of Darkrai, Arceus and the Jewel of Life, and Hoopa and the Clash of Ages), and it's made me seriously consider that the Creation Trio & Arceus should be downgraded.

1st one is Darkrai fking around with Dialga and Palkia; I can get behind Darkrai's feats, but if Dialga & Palkia are really along the lines of 2B ish, they should kinda be immune to any fuckery by virtually anything bar another member of the creation trio or Arceus.

2nd thing is Arceus. Gets rekt saving the planet from a meteor shower. That, you may just shrug off as PIS to some extent. Then you consider that a few weeks later, he gets ambushed and defeated by a large group of pokemon - twice in the movies. THAT you cannot call PIS. Or the silver water finishing it off for that matter. Sure, his plates give him immunity, but only to some degree - the meteors had enough power to KO Arceus and scatter the plates. Likewise, without the plates, it was proven that enough power from types it didn't have the plates to counter could take it out.

3rd one - in Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, Hoopa's anger summons the whole f**king Creation Trio (bar Arceus).

The f**k.

It actually summons the creation trio, Kuyrem (the dragon/ice pokemon from gen 5), and Primal Groudon & Kyogre. And controls them all. At the same time. Co-ordinating their attacks.

Also suggesting Mega Latios, Mega Latias and Mega Rayquaza be upgraded; their combined efforts (Latios & Latias used Psychic, Rayquaza used Twister) stopped attacks from all 6 of the other legendaries untill Hoopa focused their attacks.

Oh yeah, Arceus isn't acasual - it remembers what happened with Ash saving its life when Ash got back to the present.

Also all this stuff you mentioned have been discussed before. PIS is what has been widely decided. Just because something happens multiple times does not mean it is not PIS.

Eh. Fine, it's PIS. Considering this is Pokemon we're talking about, why not.

The upgrades to Mega Latios/Latias/Rayquaza still stand though, though I won't pursue it further, just pointing it out so if someone wants to do it, they can.

That likely won't happen. Although if Cal and the others are willing to upgrade the Lati Twins to High 6-A then I'd agree with them. Plus to be fair Rayquaza is already above those 6 aside from the Creation Trio.
