Should she really scale to The Immaculate One? The Immaculate one was weaker in CF then in SS and even then she needed Byleth and the Black Eagles help.

Yes, she should, a weakened Immaculate One is the one who tanked the Javelins of Light to begin with, and she damaged the same form

Also this doesn't really warrent an entire thread...

I think the Immaculate one is actually stronger in CF, as she was at peak strength. Compared to the one in SS, where they were imprisoned for years, and took two point blank Javelins of Light.

If you are referring to stats, thats just game mechanics

so whats up with aymr scaling to the sword of the creator? how strong is the sword of the creator

It doesn't.

the sword of the creator is the strongest relic. For a safe estimate, we said that other relics were half the strength of the sword of the creator

so how strong is the sword? just because its powered by sothis dosent mean its as strong as her

You can see this all on the profiles btw.

its small country level+ at its peak via being able to harm the immaculate one, who can tank javelins of light.

but i still dont get the power of the javelins

We still specifically see that it takes at least 2 Javelins of Light to destroy a city. If only 1 of them created the Valley of Torment, then there must be some Javelins that are stronger and some that are weaker. You can't just say, that the Javelins look weak in the cutscene because of "AOE bias".The cutscene is what actually happens. Anything that contradicts that cutscene is either a plot hole or faulty information. What if they said the valley was created by only one "Pillar of Light" but it was actually created by multiple? Maybe this was one of the ways that Rhea changes history, since we know that she did that.

But it is an AoE Fallacy, I don't know what to tell you. For example, a giant meteor can fall down ingame, but it doesn't even scratch the ground. Does this mean that the meteor has 0 joules of energy? No. The sword of the creator supposedly cut a mountain in half, does this mean that every swing should just obliterate the town? No.

No, what I showed you is actually a banned book from the monastery, Rhea was in no way responsible for it.

also, the javelin of light that hit Ailel was originally headed towards Gareg Mach, but was reflected due to the Holy Tomb's magic.

The fallacy would be assuming that real world physics apply to a video game without testing that idea first.

Here's an example. In Majora's Mask, someone calculated the force of the moon based on how fast it's moving and concluded that it is moving too slow to cause any damage. But in the actual game, when the moon hits the ground, it destroys the whole area. So are we supposed to say , it doesn't actually cause any damage according to the calculation"?

again look at the valley but it took 2 missiles to take out a city. that means the valley is an inconsistancy while the actual cutcene is accurate

I don't know how many times I can say AOE Fallacy before you understand, so I'm just gonna stop arguing with you

Side One: Keeps bringing up it taking two to destroying a city.

Side Two: Keeps bringing up AoE fallacy.

This Thread: Going in circles.

so can you explain how one destroyed the valley like it did and later it takes 2 to destroy a city?

also unfair why would the javelins suddenly lack the aoe that the one that hit the valley had?

Simply put, it's an inconsistency in showings, both showings are legit. There being an inconsistency doesn't make the city destruction take priority over the Ailell one. Simple as that. If anything, it could also flat out imply controlled destruction.

Also, I need to ask, why are we assuming that this is an inconsistency. What proves that said city was not just larger than Ailell?

edel still shouldnt scale to the immaculate one that's false-equivalency. That line of logic just doesn't work when powerscaling.
I'll give you another example from Dragon Ball.

  • SS Goku was able to block a sword strike from SS Trunks without taking any damage.
  • That same sword strike was able to cut Frieza to ribbons, who survived Namek exploding more or less in one piece (he was already cut in half by his own distructo-disk, so the damage from the actual explosion really wasn't that bad)
  • In Dragon Ball Super, Goku, after absorbing Super Sayain God into his base form, is injured by a bullet fired from a 9mm handgun.
  • Therefore, that handgun must have more destructive power than an earth-sized planet such as Namek exploding.
  • The end result of this train of logic is COMPLETE NONSENSE, and therefore the logic must be faulty.
so

Goku suddenly getting hurt by a bullet is by no means comparable to The Immaculate One being harmed and killed by both Byleth and Edelgard, i.e two of the God Tiers.

but the edelgard scale hinges on the assertion that damage from thermal energy = concussive force = slicing = stabbing = magic; none of which is necessarily true.

i would love for edelgard to be this strong. i just have a few questions on the matter.

No, the scale hinges on Edelgard being comparable to Byleth Post-TS like the other Lords and Rhea are and then damaging the Immaculate one.

Immacualte One in CF is a lot stronger than she was in VW, but weaker than she was in SS. VW was literally a severly weakened Rhea given she was in captivity and grew ill all that time, where as she actually trained hard for he revenge against Byleth in CF. Though, SS was the only time she was in the true IO form.

and the immaculate one still dies from her wounds..and also she was only stated to be able to destroy fodlan with her children

She still "Is about to destroy it" with relative easy. And it's not like she's incapable of it without her children, she can do it on her own over time.

Anyway, she still survived a couple hits. I'm pretty sure prime Immaculate One would barely be phased by those Javelins. Also, Edelgard can still trade blows from the Immaculate One even if she had help from Byleth. Kefka Palazzo still needed to be fought 12 on 1, but everyone still scales.

Seteth thought of her as being night unstoppable. Plus, she's a lot stronger than her minions for obvious reasons. Still, there's absolutely nothing controversial about the current ratings.
