Bleach speed (Again)

Which post in that thread you've linked actually has the reasoning?

I don't care about the LS attack thing but since when do we scale a character directly to the speed of the projectile if factors such as distance are unquantifiable or unknown?
He outpaced the beam so he'd scale.

Since never. You are not SoL because you dodged something with that speed. It is easier for you to get Relativistic speeds.

@USklaverei; just because there is precedent doesn't necessarily mean the precedent is good and that it should still be used.

How is the distance unquantifiable btw?
Because we don't know how far Renji actually had to travel in order to intercept the beam, because we don't know what Masks' field of view is of the scene when he fired his beam. The only thing we know for certain is that he arrived faster than Mask could see.

Even if you don't agree with an outright SoL, it's still Rel+ at the very least.

Still waiting on that thread btw.

You were literally in the thread, I don't think you paid attention at all.

Answer the question. This is the reaosn threads like this never get focused on.

Then what is the point of changing the ~0.80c rating to SoL? If it was something like 0.98c, cool, but it is not even 0.90c

Damage said the calc is wrong so those numbers don't mean anything. It was discussed in the thread to outright scale to the beam's speed but if that's too much for you guys it is at least Rel+.

Isn't that why USklaverei used the panels height in the calc since that's the minimum distance Renji had to have travelled? Like you really can't argue it being any lower than that.

Also, given Mask's distance from Renji and Rojuro, there's really no reason to assume his field of view wouldn't have covered the entire panel.

I never said I'd make a thread for it.

Yes, which is why this situation is so funny.

In all seriousness, what does the panel's height have to do with anything at all?

This is making literally zero sense to me. The panel is not a thing in the world of Bleach.

Isn't the Calc like 0.88c? Tata agreed with that, and it is the minimum value, it could be only higher

Quoting from the other thread.. " Yes obviously mask can see behind the border yet he didn't ses renji, but what does that prove?it proves that the distance renji crossed is bigger..how much?unquanfitable

We go with the border cause it's what was drown and it's the minimum distance renji had to cross cause he wasn't in it

That's why it's the minimum lowball "

I'm sure somebody could calculate what Mask's FOV would be given his distance to Renji and Rojuro (Shouldn't be too hard, though having said that I don't know how to do it).

Would that satisfy your problems with the calc Damage?

That's not how it works here. You can't just scale the character to the beam speed. There are many variables that can make the result greater or below than the speed of the attack. To get an idea, for the character to have the same speed as the attack has, both would need to move the same distance.

Also pretty much what Sekkonds said.

But if somebody figures out what Mask's potential FOV is the feat will be much higher.

@Purgy; that would be significantly better than scaling to a random panel border.

Alrighty, so all we need now is somebody who knows how to do that.

USklaverei calculated that the distance between Renji and Mask was 6.6705 meters for anybody that needs it.

Or we can just call another Calc member and see if he agree with Tata opinion too or the scaling to SOL, at this point it would be enough, but Antvasima agreed with Tata, we can just apply the Calc approved without further more discussing the SOL.

If we do what Damage said though the feat will be much higher than Relativistic+.
